- Triumph have with these 2 stunning models the perfect offering to get novices into motorcycling, also people that have not ridden in a long time confidently back onto a stunning motorcycle.
These 2 totally different motorcycles share the same motor and basics, yet are such different bikes and in my opinion also tease to have as a second bike in the garage they are so much fun.
Based on the Triumph 660cc triple motor, they offer the best of British, sound, iconic motor, charm, build quality and pure British flair, also extreme value for money.
I test them back to back and see for myself what they all about as when I started biking over 30 years ago, we did not have bikes with rider aids and build quality of these special machines.......

Bought the 660 Tiger Sport new in 2023 and love it. Such a torquey bike and great handling as well.Just fitted an Akrapovic exhaust and now sounds like a tripple should
Too bad it only revs to 10k like some cheap 1 cylinder bike 😂

Rode my TS from Berkshire to Bavaria no issues...Just keep your eye on the oil level during running in period, they can be a bit thirsty
Got my trident 2 months ago- love it to bits. Super agile, and plenty torque... for me it is my weekend jol. Even servicing at that same triumph dealer was a breeze- super professional and make you feel welcome.

I bought my Sport 660 about 9 weeks ago. I enjoy it a great deal. It is, for me, a second bike. I use it for my daily rides like commuting.

My son is looking to purchase his first bike, considering the Tiger Sport seems like a great all around bike. Any advice or things we should know about? Thanks
Tiger Sport is a perfect bike for first timer. Sitting upright, wide upright handlebars for good control and not over the top power are the 3 main things I recommend this bike has them all, good build quality and rider modes with safety features that make it a great bike for your son 👍🏻
Ive been riding a Harley Iron 883 with a stage 1 and it has around 55 hp and 55 ft lbs torque aka 75 nm. I'm looking for a step up in bike but want something lighter and sportier and this Trident 660 seems to be everything im looking for and the pricepoint I wanna stay around but I wonder if the power of the 660 will be enough of a step up from my Sportster? Do you think I will be satisfied with the power of 660 cuz I want a notable increase although not crazy but a good amount more. Is it the right bike for me or do I need to step up a little more than the 660? My skill level is very good on a Harley but never ridden a naked style bike like these.
@@Nucklehead-mm9gf I think the step up in power will only give you joy for a short time. I say this cause your Harley is more torque focused and the trident a more Hp focused motor which is deceiving as a real step up. I think for long term satisfaction on step up in power maybe test ride a 900
@@route21garage That's what I was thinking. I'd rather drop a few grand more than buy the 660 only to trade up 1 year later forking out more cash and go through the buying process again. I think the Tiger 900 makes most sense especially with wind protection that I really need in Northeast USA. The Street triple 765 is probably too aggressive and more committed stance for me so the Tiger 850 or 900 is probably the right play. Thank you very much for answering my question.

I would say the more comfy of the 2 bikes is the Tiger
