FIA super license is a joke Indycar WEC WRC and NASCAR are all quality series with good competitions that should offer 40 point and the max for a super license
@@johnnyweaver9946 it really is the system is quite biased towards FIA championships so much so that F2 gets more super license points than indycar I believe
@@agentjf36 For Indycar championships, 1st = 40 points, 2nd = 30 points, 3rd = 20 points and so on whereas in F2 1st three positions get 40 points each, 4th gets 30, 5th gets 20, etc. Video related to the topic -

He had the fastest car all weekend. Fun kid to watch. Nice that we've had seven different winners in eight races, with only O'Ward winning twice.

I'm back from the 90s this season. Strong teams and huge amount of great drivers.
Not gonna lie, having F1 racers join this will probably get the interest from a group of people. I'm going to be honnest, never watched indycars in my life but it's actually great fun to watch, seeing Ericsson win and now Grosjean also in the indycars is fun to see! Hope it will get more popular :D
The TV ratings are up again. Indycar is rising and maybe it can get back to the way it was in the 90's when they were so strong that Nigel Mansell then F1 world champion came to indycar.
With romain in there it has sparked a lot of interest world wide, with mclaren as well, and now with pato to do his f1 test at the end of the year it’s only a matter of time

Really enjoy indycar from the uk f1 may be faster but indycar is more competitive, 7 winners in 8 races is exactly what you want from a championship and having more than only 2 people in a title fight is sick, i love the ovals as well and people do not reilise the skill you need to race ovals and some dont have the balls to which i underatand its terrifying. I love that they all have the same car apart from the engine

What's up with the new air flow device on top of the aeroscreen? Is that new?
In regards to today's IndyCar race, either NBC or RUclips TV messed up! Missed the portion aired on CNBC!! Either RUclips TV didn't pickup on the program change, or NBC didn't bother to send the change. Now, I will have to watch the rebroadcast and hope it's OK!! It also shows NBC's real level of dedication to IndyCar. Totally ticked off!
I caught the announcers for The French Open mention once the race was on CNBC until that ridiculously long tennis match was over (I already checked NBCSN and it wasn't on there) and I moved over to that channel just in time for the start... Missed the entire pre-race though... NBC needed to have a scrolling message at the bottom of the screen telling people to go to that alternate channel!

Does Honda have an advantage over Chevy? Or are both engines very similar with minimal R&D available to develop the engines?
Typically, one engine has more power and the other has better fuel economy. Often one is better for the speedways and the other is better for the circuits. It's a balancing act. At the moment, people tend to think the Honda is marginally better.

I guess I need to watch the highlights since NBC and their sports channel NBCSN can't seem to understand how to broadcast one event on one channel and start the next event on the other, letting viewers know over the air what is taking place. Seems like a missed opportunity for them to promote their sports channel. The race (Detroit GP#2) didn't get broadcasted on either channel until 40 laps in. EVEN IF YOU WATCH THE REPLAY ON THE SPORTS CHANNEL, YOU GET THE TENNIS MATCH, YOU CAN'T SEE THE WHOLE RACE! Detroit GP #1 - Miss the first laps due to Lacrosse match and Detroit GP#2 miss over half of the race due to Tennis. Oh, I miss the days of the Speed Channel and ESPN broadcasting Indycar. Oh, how I miss those days!!! NBC may successfully do what the IRL could not, doom Indycar.
Look at McLaren now with Chevy. Maybe Alonso to join again not with Honda?
