  • The drivers at the Xfinity Series: Pacific Office Automation 147 showed their aggressiveness throughout the entire race. Sheldon Creed battled it out with John Hunter Nemechek and got the Stage 1 victory. Stage 2 brought the intensity, as John Hunter Nemechek bumped Sheldon Creed out of the way to take the lead. However, Cole Custer was able to gain momentum and pass John Hunter Nemechek to squeeze out the Stage 2 win. In overtime, Cole Custer was able to hold off Justin Allgaier and collect his first win of the season at the Portland International Raceway.

      Yeah, not sure what happened to Smith, brake fade maybe, or he got bumped and the car wasn't settled, but there was no way he was going to make that corner clean regardless who was there so I doubt it was intentional. JHN throwing a tantrum about it is the definition of low-class.

      Dude, I'm a chase fan, and that makes no sense. Chase right hooked Denny (Who I don't care for) into a high-speed part of the track. JHN spun a guy in a slow corner at a road course with little to no danger. Come on now. I think NASCAR was pretty consistent and fair here.

  • @skaggs1204
    @skaggs1204 Год назад

    NASCAR you need to step it up on these highlights. The cuts are genuinely terrible. You only show wrecks, and then waste time on replays of them.
    Almost no racing is shown. We got an entire 2 laps in the first two stages. Didn’t even show why the 2 lost 2nd. I mean get it together. 2/10 experience. You can do better.

    @callmeshaggy5166 Год назад +3

    So lemme get this straight - Elliot oversteers into another car and gets suspended. Nemechek intentionally runs into and spins 2 people and nothing? Do people still wonder why NASCAR is a joke clown series to the wider motorsport community?

    • @CorgiButtOnWheels
      @CorgiButtOnWheels Год назад +8

      I'm a Larson (HMS as a whole) fan and like Elliot. But he didn't just oversteer and turn a guy, he right hooked him, into the dogleg of one of the fastest parts of a mile and a half track. Comparing what he did and what JHN did isn't even close. I don't like how he raced his team-mate and spinning guys like that is dumb. But he didn't put them in any sort of danger. Chase could have really hurt Denny and it was deliberate. It was an irresponsible, unacceptable move that deserved the penalty. JHN doesn't deserve to be parked. Talked to? Sure. But come on now.

    • @RadioFlyer117
      @RadioFlyer117 Год назад +8

      Elliott right hooked him

    • @skylerwhitfield2
      @skylerwhitfield2 Год назад +5

      Short tracks and road courses are fair game. Rigjt rear hooking somebody on a straightaway 180+ is way different.

    • @callmeshaggy5166
      @callmeshaggy5166 Год назад

      You can literally see the skid marks from wheelspin before contact, after he was already squeezed into the wall. Let's not have this "argument" against reality. Come to think if it, Noah Gragson was parked for the same behavior as well. So let's see how consistent this clown series is.

    • @codymoe4986
      @codymoe4986 Год назад +1

      It is literally the next day, on the same racing weekend. Elliot sure didn't receive any suspension, less than 24 hrs after said incident.
      P.S. You sure know a helluva lot of detail from multiple types of these incidents. Yet you still refer to NASCAR as a clownshow/circus...

      Undeserving winners? I remember a race, back in your day, in which the King, Richard Petty, was gifted a Daytona 500 win after the leaders collected each other on the backstretch. They even managed to get in a brawl in the grass, afterwards...
      All on national TV, some say it's the most important race in the series history, given the massive jump in popularity that took place in the years following..
      Sounds like "back in your day" was/is pretty similar to modern day....try again.
