- The NASCAR Cup Series continued on the Atlanta Motor Speedway and it brought the theatrics as Joey Logano was able to win the first stage which featured just one caution with Bubba Wallace. Stage two continued this theme of few cautions as Austin Cindric used a late push to win the second stage. In the final stage of Ambetter Health 400, a costly caution sent Kyle Larson out of the race as Joey Logano was able to add another victory to his career list. This was Logano's 32nd career win and his first at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Yea, I was there and I thought he had this one. He and Joey had a great battle and both teams brought great cars.
The mustangs were stampeding today. 1st and 2nd place finishes and qualified 1st through 8th. First time a manufacturer has done that since 1965.
That bump from bell to logano at the end was a helluva shot. Love that auto trader paint scheme.

Went there today, man what a crowd. I haven't seen Atlanta that packed since 2016! What a race too, I know a lot of people are turned away that Atlanta became a superspeedway but personally I'm fine with it, it's not bad, the racing is good! I liked what I saw, and I hope this track builds a new legacy with this configuration!
This race was crazy at the end and a great finish!

@@danieljones3846 seriously I think a lot of people are doubting this track's potential, if they ran the normal package we may see an actual Michigan-Darlington hybrid which would be insane to think about! We'll see what SMI does and what NASCAR does in the future but for now I'm pretty fond of the new track
@@H0LLOW_PRIV If they ran the 670hp/ 4in spoiler package at this new Atlanta SS, I'd reckon they'll clock 200mph easily like they do at Michigan.

@@CrypticOwl Joey is non-standard, (carries that look as well) has a great attitude every day which is one of the reasons I like him so much. Not to mention, he is a MASTERFUL driver.

Take the restrictor plates off. This looks like the 2019 package.
Brad will win this year, hes run well everywhere so far and been close at Daytona and now Atlanta for him not to come away with one.

I was there. Crowd was fantastic despite the cold. Stage 2 was kinda forgettable but man what a race. It was fantastic all the way

I went to the July race last year and went today. I’m gonna be honest and this is a hot take, but I prefer old Atlanta over Atlanta superspeedway.
Every season I try, without prejudice, to get into watching Nascar. But I can not get over the race-wrecking crashes.
The last thing we needed was another drafting track where one person wrecks 10 others.
This was the wrong track to do this with.. why not Michigan.. bigger than Dega And Daytona.. SMH nascar and their boneheaded decisions

Yep. Absolute shitshow. Atlanta been one of the best tracks as long as I can remember. Fast, multi groove, was all about adjusting, car and driver. Now its another drafting track. Can't do anything, except get wrecked, lose-gain on pit road. Didn't even finish watching it. Sad day for racing.

Ten laps into the beginning of the race, with no contact, and basically with no one even close, and on the straight part of the track, Wallace continues to prove he's in way over his head at this level of NASCAR racing.

It's nice seeing super speedway style pack racing at Atlanta but as someone who has drove a older style 2009 cup car at the old Atlanta motor speedway it was better then this new layout and I have drove the new layout and I liked it better before but it does produce pack racing now so it is what it is

I'm from the UK,used to watch Brisca F1 in 70's/80's,most of the cars used Ford 427 or Chevy 454 engines.What size engines do these cars use?
Once Logano got back to the outside line it was game over. Joey would have passed Brad even without the push from Bell

187 mph top speed at Atlanta? With a draft? Wide open throttle the whole lap? Sorry, hate to sound like an "old guy," but this is sad. I remember the days of dropping into turn 1 at 203 mph, and not having to rely on a draft. This is manufactured product, and pales in comparison...
that's because there's restrictor plates on the cars, they use the super speedway package here, they still get up to 203-205 at auto club and Michigan
