I love this palette and have pulled some of my most legitimately flattering looks out of it. I don’t know why I’m like this… my favorite palettes are the ones everyone hates. lol.
Well done 😂 It was a great day to stream this. I tend to go light when I use a Melt palette as well and I tend to avoid the shimmers. This looks gorgeous on you. You are the best 🫒standard.
I don’t like the weed theme because I don’t smoke anything or use drugs. But it didn’t stop me from buying this palette. When this first came out I didn’t know it was weed themed. I thought those were leaves 🍁 on the palette. They are leaves in my little world. 🌍 😂I used it a lot last Fall because it is a such an interesting murky color story to me. The shimmer in this sucks! Besides that I love this palette. I didn’t have issue with blending.
@@QueerBones I wish they could move on to other more interesting themes that fit their aesthetic. I’m happy to have this palette and I could see them discontinuing it soon. I am not interested in the smoke sessions 2 palette. I don’t know if certain weed is purple and that’s why they chose the theme again. It’s a monochromatic purple palette with a pop of brown, which have seen a million times already. They also did a purple palette already in the zodiac collection. I wish they could do more interesting color stories and exciting collections like the muerte and Vida collection that everyone went crazy over.
I almost got this during the Sephora sale but hesitated too based on reviews. I got the 24 instead. Your look turned out great but does seem like you had to work with it a bit. I’m curious to hear your final review after you try it out more!
Melt is one of those brands.. They're not really "user friendly", their formulas are high maintenance. They're work. The color stories are so gorgeous, the textures can be really fun. I like the mattes, overall. But I wouldn't recommend Melt to anyone that's just starting out with makeup.
I wouldn’t really recommend high pigment load products to people new to makeup in general. I think they can be useful for some but not the general public
@@QueerBones I agree. I think the thing with Melt is that they're very accessible at Sephora. Their marketing and color curation kinda makes them the "cool girls". I think a lot of people want to try Melt, are naturally drawn to it, but don't necessarily know what they're in for as far as the formulas go. I do think that's why Melt receives a lot of criticism.
Yeee waiting for your opinión this is one of my favs Melt palettes ❤
☺️☺️
I found out Anastasia primer is the best primer to make it work and defenitely is not a beginner friendly
Thank you so much for doing this video. I was considering it when I saw it on sale at Sephora. I love the color story but was always apprehensive. 💚
I’m glad it was helpful. I would definitely only get it in sale but excited to keep playing with it
This is my 2nd favourite Melt palette - partly because it only has one shimmer 😅
Hahahah
Only a few minutes into this and already thinking I might pull this out of my declutter box.
Haha. Try it again? I don’t remember why it went in their the first time

I just panned the City Lips gloss in clear. It’s my favorite clear gloss ever. Just wish they were cheaper.
I love this palette, especially in the Fall. Maybe you could pull in another palette to help you use this palette.
@@dariavision i like the look on the lips but hate the smell. I have so many others I prefer for formula

Thank you!!!
I love this palette 😂 i got it in a mystery box and didn't know it was supposed to be bad lol
lol it’s definitely one of their palettes with mixed reviews. I’m also really loving it

I feel indifferent to the theme. The shimmer feels meh but I’m excited to have the mattes

@@celestecelestial90 yeah I’m not sure why they chose the theme again. I wish they would expand.

I def need to try it more but I don’t mind 30 seconds of blending for these kinds of shades.

compare to the Yucca pallet i’m curious if those would add more to the pallets give in eye looks. 🤷♀️🙋🏼♀️
I feel like Yucca leans more olive neutral and this more green but I’ll have to do comparisons.
Haha! 420 palette on 4/20 😅
☺️☺️
I agree with you, I have this and I really like it. Great video. 🧡💚🧡
Thank you!
i like the eye look…looks good on you.❤🙋🏼♀️
