The one thing I got from the collection is the Lethal Avatar Earth palette. I do have similar things, but there were a few aspects of it that did add to my collection: a) the green to purple shifty shade does not currenlty exist in my collection b) i really want that super rich brown shimmer. I too love a brown shimmer allover the lid and using a different color in the crease + inner corner. I love the brown shimmer in Unearthly Sorcerous Smoke, but this lethal one looks thicker and richer, which again doesn't exist in my collection c) I don't have a kelly green I like in my collection. It's not a color I gravitate towards, but within the 9-pan palette, I can actually see how to use kelly green that works for me. It's deep, not mid-tone, so I'll try it in my outer corner or as a grungey allover lid shade. The color is so perfect and makes me think of Avatar Kyoshi's fierce make-up, so it's inspriing. Perhaps I'm justifying to myself, but it was too hard to pass on for me. I did hold back from getting anything else from the collection. What I'm trying to say is - If you end up caving and going for it, you may still find love specific uniqueness in it, like me!

I really appreciate nomad for trying to keep things new and interesting, and their packaging is always a A+! This palette isn’t for me but I would love a 9 pan with the singles from this collection maybe, the blues really call my name

Funny that you revisited this palette I packed away my PMGL palettes when I decided to boycott the brand and they were literally LOST in this house mothership 1-6 & several mthrship’s about $800+ worth of makeup well my mom *FOUND* them all yesterday! I revisited mothership V today I was so happy w it! I’ll revisit this one tomorrow! I love that you take out older palettes & use them new subbie here great video!!

Thanks for doing this video, I forget about reaching for Sublime but I truly love it as well! Every time I use it I love the looks I get. Also, I live in Seattle too and 100% agree… summers here are exquisite and my favorite summers of anywhere I have ever lived. It’s kind of a well-kept secret we don’t tell the rest of the country. ❤

Oh, good luck in London and Paris if you hate humidity 😭 Sublime was my first mothership, and it still performs after more than a decade. I use it a lot with Midnight Sun and Moonlit Seduction. I love the tiny olive undertone to the bronze and the Astral shade made me fall in love with that formula. Tap and roll is definitely the best technique for Blitz Astrals - for Astral shades, you can spray a bit of a fixing spray (like UD All Nighter, not something like Fix+) onto a palette and dab your finger into that before applying in that way. It also works for moondust shadows or any with very dispersed particles. I love the artwork for Sublime outer packaging probably the most. Really hoping the next Mothership has a new direction for outer packaging, compared to recent. Do you have any hopes for next colour story?

I don’t know why but the phrase “spark joy” kind of irritates me but in this context it’s the best way I can explain how I feel about the motherships and the most adequate way is that the motherships spark the most joy out of all the palettes in my collection whenever I use them. It feels like such a luxurious and curated moment and really the color stories are so well done. I can take any palette and make a look go from basic or corporate to fun or punk.

I had the Divine Rose palette and was so disappointed with it that I haven’t purchased any other PM palettes. I suspect I would have liked Sublime’s colour story a lot more. I still want to pick it up one day when the PM site has a good sale. That satiny bronze colour looks so nice on you 🤎

Layering the shimmers created a soft duochromatic effect. I love it and definitely want to recreate this.

Hi tysm for making this, there's not a lot of videos in English of people using these, and I unfortunately don't know Mandarin or any other Chinese language XD Do you still plan on making a follow up to this? I'm curious to see how the red toned quad performs.

Mineralscapes is one of my favourites this year - I absolutely love desaturated cooler toned mattes. I was fully intending to get it, but then something came up and it is no longer in my budget. BlendyBunny Longing palette is what I bought instead. I know you don't get along with their formula, but I like this one is a more unique take on a muted cool-toned colour story. Usually, they don't include sandy shades and olive tones along with purples. Elaina palette is gorgeous, and it is on my list of possible purchases. I have not tried ShellWe yet - mostly because I irrationally dislike the art style of their packaging. Ensley Raine I have not tried yet due to rational dislike of the AI (and being Europoor), but I love their recent colour stories. I really like the look of new BeautyBay palette and the Cosmic Brushes ones too. Hope you are having fun in Europe! Btw, is Bean a shih-tzu or a maltese? Maybe crossed with Cavalier? She's so adorable omg.

Love this video idea! My fave color story that I don’t own is the cosmic beauty nudetrals palette. That one has been hard to resist. My fave color stories I own are the lethal x ATLA palettes. I think all of them are done so well and so well balanced. My fave has to be the earth one though. But I’m a sucker for greens

I finally caved and bought the Desert Road when I was in London and could see it in person. I was concerned it wouldn't be impactful enough, but your description of its appeal was spot on. I actually enjoy the effect quite a lot and am happy to have it. My Avatar items finally arrived recently! I am a bit too obsessed with the Appa makeup bag 😅 I got the Water and Earth palettes and Sokka's glitter gel but haven't yet tried them. The Team Azula lipstick set really surprised me with how high quality they are and how much I enjoy the colours.

I love this idea! I love duping palettes, so i get a lot of practice admiring color stories without purchasing. The ATLA palettes were sooooo tempting though. Such a perfect collab imo

The Mineralscapes is my favorite color story. I duped it when it came out. I added a peachy skin tone crease color. I used mostly Natasha Denona and a few Sydney Grace and put it in a z palette that has a mirror and I have not taken it apart! Normally I move things back but I haven’t and I love it. I also loved Comic Beauty’s Cooltrals and Nudetrals which I did buy.

Love this concept & a great reminder of admiring from afar. Burnt forest is one that I feel that way about - love how it looks but I have others I want more. My favorite color story this year has been poppy quiet from titanium foxes
