thank you and you're so welcome!! :)
I made my sleeves in a round, less stitching 😊 love this sweater
I'm obsessed with this top! I just finished one for my daughter & now I'm working on mine. This was my first time making something with actual sleeves so this was a great tutorial for beginners like me! I used Lion Comfy Cotton Blend 😊
Hello I’m a younger crocheted and I’m wondering how many chains you would do for an xs, I’m quite confused and can’t find it in the blog post
How long did it take you?
@@celinbader3884 It took me about two weeks working on it 3 to 4 hours a day. I did have to frog alot because I made a few mistakes along the way.
@oluwadaraadejumo2681 her pattern says xs/s would be 70 Chains at the beginning
This is a beautiful top. The photo doesn't capture how pretty it is.
Thank you! 😊
Oh my gosh, this is gorgeous!!!! It is so in trend right now. I am going to try this, I hope I can make it because I am pretty much a square blanket crocheting person. 😉
Thank You for sayin the first row will look wonky so I know I'm doing it correctly ❤❤ Thank you for your time to do so Much work for us to learn your Beautiful Creations 🎉❤😊
15:57 thanks, really needed the neckline shaping tutorial
Absolutely love this sweater ❤❤❤
This is gorgeous! Making it for the beach!!
Row 3 11:52 row 2 8:48
Took me a while to learn but kept persevering and it’s looking ok so far fingers crossed it looks ok
OOOOOH LALA! I love this mesh top and pecots!!! I must make this!!! I 've got plenty of Expression Fiber Arts yarn, so it'll be fun finding the right colorway!!! Thank you!!!
Excellent tutorial! You surely are great at what you do, It’s So very easy to understand whatever you teach. Congratulations!
OOh love it! Just moved to FL and crocheting a bunch of cotton items, and this will be one of them. Thank you!
Beautiful. Appreciate you teaching this method.
Thanks so much!
When attaching all your pieces together, I recommend your stitches be EXTREMELY LOOSE. It will be so tight around the arms otherwise. I made that mistake. I sorta fixed it by wearing it in the shower to loosen it up a bit.
I saw your comment before making the sleeves and added some width. It wasn't enough and is still a bit tight at the arm seams. My daughter and are are both small but kayak, so maybe our arms aren't skinny enough. Lol! Anyway, my advice is to make sure the end on the sleeve fits comfortably around your upper arm before you make the whole sleeve.
I had the same problem. The sleeves are so tight around the upper arms where they attach to the body. Bummer.
I started mine yesterday. I'm using yarn bee sugarwheel cotton sparkle the color is called just relax it's different colors of blue real pretty. I sur hope it turns out good.
thank you❤ waching from Philippines
buaaaaaa!!!!!!! me super encanta, quiero intentarlo pero no se si me aclarare con las abreviaturas de tu idioma. Gracias por compartir el bonito trabajo y por las explicaciones tan detalladas.
It's so lovely! Gonna make it to cover my sleeveless dress, thank you ♥
I just love this stitch!❤❤❤ l am making this in a thinner yarn and making the next size up!! And it's looking so pretty!!
I'd like to do this in a thinner yarn! did you find you had to change much in the pattern? what yarn did you use? would appreciate your help!
I'm bigger than you. I'm going to try and make this with a thicker yarn and larger hook size. Hoping that it will look like yours, but be bigger. Fingers crossed.
I love it! I’m getting excited seeing it on you! I have some Caron cotton funnel cakes, I think it would be perfect! Thanks soo much for sharing your pattern with us! Omg 😱 soo excited! Getting some Pounds of Love tomorrow as well! Can’t wait to start!✨🪡🧶
I was wondering how long does the starter chain have to be to make for someone who wears an XL
I made this top in the small size and all went well until I began to assemble. Front and back went well together but when I attached the sleeves, the armpit was very tight around the arm. My sleeve is 12” x 16” as directed but the 12” around seems quite snug. Am I doing something wrong? Should I make new sleeves with more inches around?
I finished this a few days ago and had the same issue, they fit my arms but would have liked a big baggier like the style of the top. I'm making another one now in a different colour, going to make the sleeves wider this time for definite.
Yo vivo muy cerca de El Palmar y he pasado muchos veranos haciendo pesca submarina en Zahora. Espero que tus vacaciones hayan sido sin levante. Por cierto, jersey precioso.
I love this so much! Thank you…just bought my kit.🥰
You're welcome! I hope you love it!!
Such a lovely top and you've explained everything so well. Definitely going to give this one a try!
well, did you?
Another beautiful project
Thank you so much!
Love the pattern. I do have such a hard time with picking up sc in the middle.
This is a lovely pullover.
Hi, I’m a beginner and I would like to try to follow this top. It’s really beautiful. I’m a visual learner and I don’t understand patterns. I will be watching this video few more times and then, when I think I’m ready to try, I will be crocheting alongside with you. All I want to know is what is the multiple count to start a XL top like yours. Thank you 🙏 😊
I love all your amazing work ❤️ thank you for sharing
Thank you so much Glenda!! You're very welcome!
So very cute 💜
just a little timestamp for me❤
end of row 2 11:00
end of row 3 12:53
Thanks ❤😂that helps a lot ☺️
I was wondering if you have any tips? Mine is curling at the beginning.
Wow. Gorgeous. I love it. Thankyou so much .xx🧡💛💚
Ok idk what I did wrong but I did a size small like she’s doing in the video and it came out as big as a dress on me. I believe I did do my stitches looser but I don’t believe it should have came out that big 😂. The sleeves are a good size tho. I actually made the front and back panels into a bathing suit coverup so I’m actually happy with it but I will make a much smaller one to go with the sleeves based on the huge one I currently have.
Omg I love it gotta make u are my favorite designer
I'm going to start mine soon... I hope it will turn out well.😊
Absolutely love it..many thanks💘
So glad! thank you!
Awesome pattern 🧶💗
Looks gorgeous on you love the colour. 👍
In the written instructions, it says to keep loose tension in the chain. Should that be maintained throughout the pattern?
Love this sweater by the way!
Hi! Just for the chain!
End row 3 12:50
End row 2 10:59
Lovely sweater ❤❤❤
So cute
I was watching here 1:25 and I just realized SHE HAS SO MUCH YARNNNNN
Love it!! Thank you!!!! 💗
it looks like fish scales- so cute or mermaid
Hello! i love this and can't wait for the finished product. I just have one question.. If i am only using 1 color for the entire project, will there still need to be a sc at the start of your color B?
Going to make this with the new Caron Blossom cakes cotton blend yarn. I also made the picot stitch vest you designed with the fringe. Needless to say, I love the look of the picot stitch. It’s a simple mesh, but with a little flavor. 😊
Thank you for using a safe natural fiber and not the unhealthy not compostable plastic fibers of acrylic!!!!❤
Are you an employee of Lion Brand? Are you an independent contractor working for Lion Brand.
Love it , I will try it
Love it!!
Thank you!!
Beautiful 🤩 Thanks ☺️
Does the back have the same neck shaping as the front? Many thanks its a great pattern.
Wonderful tutorial❤
I so badly want to make this! I’m fairly new to crochet so if anyone can please advise I’d appreciate it! I’d like to make this without the sleeves (I’m an Australian living in a HOT climate). Would it be as simple as just making the front and back panels and sewing the sides together after allowing a space for the arm holes?
Would I be able to sell my finished product? Thank you!
Hi Ms. Evelyn, I’m a beginner and I’m trying to follow you, but I just can’t make the end of the row 2 and 3 right. I wish you can do more row of the 2 & 3 a few more times so I can understand it. Because I don’t understand patterns. I can only crochet alongside with you. Please show me how to end the row 2 and 3 end because mine is not right. Please show me how you do to end both 2 & 3 please.
I just ended each row the same as the rest of the pattern and didn't do what she was doing because it didn't make sense to me. I have completed the project and it didn't serm to affect it in any way
I love it 👌🏼
Love it thank you💕
I love the tutorial
Thank you 😊
I’m doing mine light blue
I’ve just finished making all of my panels and tomorrow I’ll be putting it all together. How do I know which side is right side on or right side out? They both look the same to this beginners eye. I can’t wait to wear this, I made it to wear to my Mum’s 70th!
How long did it take you?
LOVELY❤😊
Me encanta!!!!❤
I don't know what I did wrong. Mine looks so different and so bad. Maybe I just made the loops too loose?
How many grams or metres of yarn did this need?
You are beautiful wearing your creation.
If I want the size S/M but just want it longer could I just add more rows to the front and back panel? Or would that mess things up? Love this pattern so much!
I've asked questions about
another pattern of hers, and I have Never gotten a response. I've noticed that on a lot of her videos. I find it very Sad 😔 that she doesn't reply 😢. If you need help, 'she's not there'. And a lot of her videos your supposed to follow the written pattern.
WHY???
Just teach the whole pattern!! Most of her videos are only 15 minutes long. 😢😢😢😢
And the answer to your question is YES!! Add as many rows as you want. ❤❤😊😊
@lindastout452 I've also noticed this. It's really disheartening seeing all the really good questions in the comments that have never been answered. I'm sure it's prevented many from trying. I've been working on this for a while because I keep getting stuck but I'm determined so I'll take a break and give it another go eventually lol. Thanks for taking the time to answer a question!
I know I'm late to this, but I wanted it shorter and it didn't seem to mess it up when I did less rows, you just have to match it on the other side
MAGNÍFICO 😍😍😍 😘❤️
Beautiful
Thank you :)
Where is the written pattern?
can I ask something? is the last row (39) of the back panel are consist only of 3chains not 5? btw love your work! thanks for sharing your pattern
I made this but the sleeves are too short and not wide enough. Can you give me the measurements in inches so I know how long and how wide the sleeves should be. Also the body measurements.
Thanks for this tutorial, easy to follow! Just wanted to ask what is the gauge for this pattern?
i got totally lost at the neckline
I have a list of pattern in order I wanna do and everytime girl I cross one out for later and replace it with yours 😂
What is the pattern multiple? I want to use a different size yarn. Thank you!
Could you make this with ordinary yarn? Or does it need to be cotton?
are the edges of the front panel supposed to be unstrechy?
Do you always have to chain 2 all the time when you repeat row 2? Please tell me. Thank you 🙏 😊
I didn't and mine is together. No problem.
How do I keep it from curling
I think u may have missed a couple of stitches because crochets curl whenever u miss a stich
Merhaba alt yazılarda Türkçe seçeneği de olsaydı keşke. Bu arada bluz çok hoş. Ellerinize sağlık 🌺
Pls tell me how much gram u used
Hi! Starting this project. Quick question, do you double crochet at the end of every even row?? Thx!
Πολύ όμορφο! ❤️
Hi! How much yarn do you need to make this?
If you follow the link to her blog, she says how much you need for any given size on there.
This patern just got a shout~out by ✨️👉🏻 it's erin b. 👈🏻✨️ on her
💫🤜🏻 RUclips vlog 🤛🏻💫. I'll be making a couple of these for my summer vacation... Thanks for the easy #crochetcoverup tutorial.

What would be the length of that first row of chains for the small size? Lion ran out of the yarn, so I couldn’t buy the kit. I am using a different yarn, and 78 chains come out to only 15 inches long. In the diagram, Small measures 25.25”. Should I go follow a larger size to get that 10 more inches
I want to use truboo yarn (3weight) and I want a size small. Should I make a large cause I am using a lighter/thinner yarn and a 4.5 mm hook? Or do I just need to stop what I'm doing cause that's not how it works lol
I just got to the sewing the pieces together, how do I know which is the “right” side of my panels?
for this one it's Row 1 (labeled RS). So when you are working up Row 1 the RS is facing you and the WS is facing away from you. So you would place the panels with the RS of row 1 facing together! Hope that makes sense!
Gostaria muito desta aula em português, sou do Brasil !
How many grams of each color did you use for the whole project?
Me gusta el modelo lo quiero en Español gracias
