    When attaching all your pieces together, I recommend your stitches be EXTREMELY LOOSE. It will be so tight around the arms otherwise. I made that mistake. I sorta fixed it by wearing it in the shower to loosen it up a bit.

    • @andreacate6368
      @andreacate6368 5 месяцев назад +1

      I saw your comment before making the sleeves and added some width. It wasn't enough and is still a bit tight at the arm seams. My daughter and are are both small but kayak, so maybe our arms aren't skinny enough. Lol! Anyway, my advice is to make sure the end on the sleeve fits comfortably around your upper arm before you make the whole sleeve.

    • @kellykindberg8798

      I had the same problem. The sleeves are so tight around the upper arms where they attach to the body. Bummer.

    I made this top in the small size and all went well until I began to assemble. Front and back went well together but when I attached the sleeves, the armpit was very tight around the arm. My sleeve is 12” x 16” as directed but the 12” around seems quite snug. Am I doing something wrong? Should I make new sleeves with more inches around?

      I finished this a few days ago and had the same issue, they fit my arms but would have liked a big baggier like the style of the top. I'm making another one now in a different colour, going to make the sleeves wider this time for definite.

      I've asked questions about
      another pattern of hers, and I have Never gotten a response. I've noticed that on a lot of her videos. I find it very Sad 😔 that she doesn't reply 😢. If you need help, 'she's not there'. And a lot of her videos your supposed to follow the written pattern.
      WHY???
      Just teach the whole pattern!! Most of her videos are only 15 minutes long. 😢😢😢😢

      @lindastout452 I've also noticed this. It's really disheartening seeing all the really good questions in the comments that have never been answered. I'm sure it's prevented many from trying. Ok idk what I did wrong but I did a size small like she’s doing in the video and it came out as big as a dress on me. I believe I did do my stitches looser but I don’t believe it should have came out that big 😂. The sleeves are a good size tho. I actually made the front and back panels into a bathing suit coverup so I’m actually happy with it but I will make a much smaller one to go with the sleeves based on the huge one I currently have.

    • @EvelynAndPeterCrochet

      You could try doing a treble crochet in place of a double! That would give you a bit more height if the tension is off!

      for this one it's Row 1 (labeled RS). So when you are working up Row 1 the RS is facing you and the WS is facing away from you. So you would place the panels with the RS of row 1 facing together! Hope that makes sense!

    What would be the length of that first row of chains for the small size? Lion ran out of the yarn, so I couldn’t buy the kit. I am using a different yarn, and 78 chains come out to only 15 inches long. In the diagram, Small measures 25.25”. Should I go follow a larger size to get that 10 more inches
