Ive just got back into crochet, as learnt it as a small girl. Im 51 now. Im finding it a great way to relax at night and sleeping better for it. Ive started this top as want to wear over my white polo neck sweater in winter in stead of a jacket when out for meals. Ive found the tutorial amazing and really clicked withvthe pattern formation. I find it hard to put down and cant wait to pick it up again. Im doingvit in a sparkly pink and will defo be making more in different colours. Thankyou so much xxx
Thank you for the pattern and the tutorial. Instructions were very clear. I am a UK 16 and quite busty. So I used 161 (160 + 1) stitches (160 would work both as a multiple of 4 and 8) based on feedback people have given on sizing here, and it seems to have worked. I also used a thicker 100% cotton yarn which I had recycled from another sweater. I'd probably need more stiches if I were using DK. For those struggling with size, I think it could help to keep crocheting (the first row) till the length fits the length you want on both your arms (drape it across your back and shoulders) and round up/down the number of stitches to a number that is a multiple of both 4 and 8 (e.g. 144, 152, 160, 168 etc). Hope that helps!
Hi thanks for your input. I think I'm a size 18 and probably even bustier 😂. I've got a thickish cotton based yarn which I'm going to use a size 6 crochet hook with. I hope it works 😊 out. Thanks from Debbie in South Africa!! I hope yours turned out great!! ❤
Omg how beautiful. I started last night with yarn I had in my stack... I'm a beginner but the way you explain and work I can easily follow..thank you so much ❤
Love your calming demeanor. Always watching the channel. ...I got confused when you count an extra chain in foundation for chain Most crochet videos say second one from hook but love your videos more than most and I am sure everyone feels the same.feels
Thank you sooo much. This is my first project and it turned out very nice . Lacy and beautiful. I fell in love with the pattern as well. Thinking to make Saul with this pattern. I loved the way you explained how to do everything and each and every step so well. ❤❤ Hope to see your more projects like this in future as well.

Sometimes when you are comfortable with a stitch/ pattern you relax more than the first time you tried it, so your tension is looser. Maybe pin the two panels together and try it on to see if it’s not that noticeable, handmade isn’t and doesn’t need to be perfect to still look good, thank you for making my project, Anja x

Hi. i made this now and its to short. I have a larger chest and i think thats why. I really dont want to redo the whole thing sence it took me 15 h total to make with breaks. is it possible to make the panels wider on the sides? This top is so beautiful! it just needs to be longer so it can cover my back and front a bit more.
Maybe put a border around the individual panels so it becomes longer and wider? For any future projects it might be an idea to keep measuring and to lay it on top of a garment you already wear? Hope this helps Anja x
@@OpheliaTalks Thank you so much for answering me, im looking forward to see the result😊 thanks for sharing the patterns with, illbe making more stuff from your tutorials💙

I love this tutorial so much! Not only the finished product itself, but also the way you explain every single step. You not only give the instruction but also WHY you did certain stitches the way you did them. That way you actually learn something and have more knowledge to use in future projects.
