    Thank you for keeping the music alive, no matter the pandemia nor the restrictions for performing music with people inside the theatre. You all the musicians, with conductor Orozco-Estrada, are showing us that it's possible and necessary to keep on and keep the passion, and share it with all the people around the world. It's a gift for all of us at the other side and the best word I can say is THANK YOU!

    This is definitely one of the best performances I have heard of this absolute masterpiece. The piece doesn't need the occasional embellishments, but that is a small thing. Strict tempo is observed throughout. I have heard performances which use quite a bit of rubato. That is not on. All in all, despite minor criticisms, this is a very good performance of a wonderful work.

    Do you know that Mozart had composed this sinfonia Concertante in Paris to be played in "Concerts spirituels", but his challenger Cambini made such a pressure that the performance was cancelled, and Mozart was obliged to go himself to "stole" his own manuscript in "Concerts spirituels" to find another opportunity to have it performed? Just behind Mozart, the "best" composer of 'sinfonia concertante' was probably his older friend, Johann Christian Bach, the son of JSB, who lived mainly in London. but had close contacts in Paris where most of his operas were successfully created?

    • @gerardbegni2806
      @gerardbegni2806 2 года назад +2

      @Chlorinda Yes, I know that some musicologists rose concerns about this work, but most of them admit that the piece is from Mozart. As for JCB,this is a difficult issue, since these composers, although friends, were completely differant, and "in average", Mozart"s genius is gerater than JCB"s immense talent.

    A comment below (by Christoph Schneider) refers to Robert Levin's "reconstructed" version of the piece. The usual version (heard here) is almost certainly for a different set of wind instruments than Mozart's original version; the original version apparently doesn't exist. I love both versions. Levin has written a wonderful book about all this, titled "Who Wrote the Mozart Four-Wind Concertante?" -- because the authorship is doubted, but it *really is* Mozart, just not exactly how he wrote it.

    演奏とはこんなに楽しいのか。
    協力と調和という意味は、真善美を統一すると音楽となる。
    ミュージックとはミュース女神たちの声だと思った。
    無観客での演奏会。
    凄い。

    I have to admit that for most of my life I have regarded this work as the poor relation of the violin/viola work, although I found it "pleasant". The sheer quality of this performance changes that view.
