Only Sarah Willis and Dennis Brain know how to give the horn a slightly "snarling" quality from time to time (for lack of a better term). Always such a pleasure to hear her perform! (But the camera-operator never missed an opportunity to miss her. WTF?)

It's so good, stylish, textually observant. So why do I keep returning to the "all wrong" Philadelphia recording with Tabuteau et. al. made over 80 years ago?
