Listening to a lot of music and practicing daily lead me too that way. On some point I left and kept music as my semiprofessional hobby though. There is so much I learned on the way that proves useful now I could never have predicted. So keep it up and enjoy the ride! 😊

This 41th Mozart symphony brings me memories from sixty years ago: I had a vynil whose side B was it. Side A was Beethoven 5th. Viena Philarmonic orchestra conducted by Jascha Horenstein.

That’s some coincidence! We played Schubert’s 8th, “Unfinished” in high school. My FIRST exposure to classical. So I bought the vinyl record - and, like you, found Mozart on the B side. It was his 31st, “Paris” and has been my favorite for 65 years - except fot the andante of the 41st, “Jupiter.”

Era capitano di macchina su petroliere, ma figlio di 1 violinista suonava la chitarra per hobby e cantava inglese, francese e spagnolo. Le opere classiche vivono dentro di me dalla fanciullezza.

I like this conductor very much, but I don't care for the ritardandi and pauses in the first movement. Keep the progress flowing. My fave orch!

He said (due to the applause after the first movement) that back in the times of Mozart they would have repeated it.
