Not totally convinced... Amplitubes plugin is cheaper and spot on. Also found if you turn the cfh amp bass up and mid down a bit it's pretty much the Vulgar tone 🤘😉
You also can replace the distortion if you sidechain it, with anything (like a 5150 sim, just witch the fx loop in the plugin on the bottom right). I have this plugin, and I absolutely love it, using it every time when I'm playing the guitar.
I miss Washburn guitars!!! My first guitar ever was a dirt cheep Washburn and it didn’t sound great but to this day I haven’t found a better playing more buttery neck!! I always wanted the Dime Slime Washburn😢
I have a Lyon by Washburn super strat kind of thing I got at a pawnshop for $40. It’s the best playing neck I’ve ever had. I loaded it with hot rails and a quarter pounder, and clear coated over the masking tape “$40”.
audiority also have a randall plugin i love. I bought the grindstein and the randall and it's my favourite plugins together. So Brutal, so ugly, so many fun combinations.
I love it. It’s so ugly. It serves several needs. Stand-alone it’s a Death Metal machine, as a preamp to other amp sims it’s useful, the Stock IRs are great and … the most useful thing is, it’s an amazing add on guitar sound to my main sound. Love it … it’s the mean kind of brutal. Brilliant! And I am serious. We germans don’t have humor. U know.
I love this quick and dirty, get to the shit demo. No bullshit, no jibba jabba. Just here's the thing, let's get right into it. Kohle is awesome - nice to see him getting some love from you, man.
I honestly think half of the reason it sounds "like Pantera" is the pickup. The L500XL/Dimebucker has a tall resonant peak which gives it its signature spank. But yeah, sounds killer.
The pickup doesn't have that much to do with your actual tone. That's strictly for fine tuning. The majority comes from your amp, then cab, then guitar, THEN pickup.
@@Xplora213 okay, then go play that pickup, that string gauge, and riff as hard as you can into a Fender Bassman and tell me that matters more than the amp or speakers.
Can someone please tell me what's the riff he's playing at 5:05 till 5:10 ? I've heard Ola play this riff a couple of times throughout the years but I've yet to discover what it's related to...
Ola, it does not matter how amazing it sounds because, if you can't store your sound preset, what practical use is it? It's a pretty amazing little tone generator but a waste without preset storing ability.
Great plugin demo. But I have to ask about the crazy gorgeous red Washburn. Looked around all over and can't find anything on it. Are you able to share with us the story of how you found it? It looks similar to the Washburn dime st pro 2004 but that was a cherry burst, in the images I found its a two color burst but yours looks like basically just one color.
great sounds, my biggest issue with plugins, I can't seem to ever find a sound, that doesn't sound like its coming from a tiny speaker. no matter which output I'm listening from lol
It sounds pretty heavy dude!! God there's so much stuff to choose from these days where does one start?? 🤷🤷🤷😝 I just got that hell melter pedal from electro harmonix and DUUUUDE talk about sounding SWEDISH!!! I always loved that "at the gates" style guitar picking ola it's different sounding from all other bands on this earth... We all miss the mighty DIMEBAG ❤ HELL NEVER EVER BE FORGOTTEN MAN ❤️🤟❤️🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
I've always thought Dime's tone would be good for death metal, if you paired it with a more traditional metal tone for rhythm and duels. Layer it and make it sound like Hell incarnate.
It's a great plugin but, mine only resembles the tone that Ola is getting. I wonder if it's Ola's interface, guitar, or playing that are being more important for the achieving of this great tone here. I'm playing EMG81 bridge on a Fernandes RP81, through a POD HD Desktop as an interface.
Kirk Windstein is the inspiration for the GrindStein, and he likes solid state amps, including Randall.. You should know this when he just joined your guitar company

To be honest... I love the HM-2 sound but I tried this plugin myself and the HM2 aspect of it is actually pretty weak. Great dirt pedal, but weak HM2 performance. I don't get the hype about it and for 300 bucks... everyone has to decide for oneself.
It sounds bad, but that's the point. It's supposed to be blended with your average modern tone, or at least it sounds best that way. Watch Glenn Fricker's video on it, he explains it pretty well.
I've wrapping my head around this all day trying to figure out the song i have it on the tip of my tongue but I can't figure it out so what's song is the 1:30 riff from
Good job Audiority but not my cup of tea! Hope they come up with a nice Overdrive pedal putting together great great pedals like the Clone,Tube screamer etc in one plugin.

Laney iron heart sound.

What do you think sidechaining means?
I don't know what to do with your comment. What you wanted to tell me?
You can replace and mix in the Bottom Shaker, not sidechain. The real pedal is awesome 🤘
So as the plugin!
It's a killer plugin. Even better when you tone stack with other tube amps/sims. Adds that touch of nasty character.
Yes! If you make the grindstein have little treble, and use a brighter plugin like the aurora dsp rhino you get a killer tone.
@@enzojacobsen4349 I do use Rhino with Grindstein in fact!
You watch spectre sound studios dont you. I was gonna comment the same thing😂

glenn is ok, but he is not right about everything.
Great Plugin! Bought it myself a while ago. Even the presets are all really good and useful
Great effect and man I love that Washburn you're playing they made some beautiful guitars. 👍🤘
Ola, Audiority has a fantastic model for the Randall RG100ES, much better than amplitube's version to my ears.
Nice At the Gates riffage Ola! I want that pedal!
This is a great plugin! I use it to mix it with my tube amp and get more character to my tone this way.
Hey Ola, thanks for this great video! \m/_
I have one of the first Grindstein pedals with the Leather-face graphic.
Mmmm i don't know about this one. It sounds like a small amp being played through a cardboard tube. It's hissy and sort of hollow at the same time.
Well it's meant to sound shitty. More info on SMG channel

kris, this thing is amazing! blend it with a 5150 and BAM BANG BOOM!
Heck yeah. I have the pedal and it is freaking awesome.
I would so buy that Fleisch in a second if it were made as a pedal.
2:18 this sound like how it sounded when you plugged an fortin 33 into a Marshall ms2
Love this plugin. Kristian has a great channel.

I bought this plugin on October at it's totally killer!!
Killer plugin. Audiority never disappoints. for more authentic hm-2 sounds I still prefer their heavy pedal into a 5150 or plexi sim
Nice dude! Kohle is great! Love his mixes ! Also great tips and tricks on his channel ! Some of the best drum samples too.
His IRs are outstanding too
I would love to see you do an unboxing and quick review of an ibanez jem to see if how well you can make it METAL.
