    Can the my fitness pal app on your watch take in your gym sessions from the Apple Watch?

    • @KevTheTrainer
      @KevTheTrainer  3 года назад +2

      Hey Dualta! That's an excellent question! I'm going to film a PART TWO to this video that addresses this.
      When it comes to the MyFitnessPal app on your Apple Watch, it will only display Steps.
      However, you can sync your Apple Watch workouts to the MyFitnessPal app on your iPhone and they will count towards your Exercise calories!
      Will drop a link to the video here and in my description when it's ready!

    Is there a way to edit your Apple watch face to include how many calories you have eaten/drank versus the amount you have burned? Or is there a way to display MFP data on your apple watch face like you are able to do with for example, the app Lifesum? Any suggestions or help is appreciated!

    Kev, so glad I found you channel. I am 73 years old, and very overweight. As well as type 2 diabetic. I am under the care of some great people at my VA hospital where I live. Locating your channel is important to me because I must lose about 60 more pounds. I won't bore you with why, just know it is important. My youngest son and I both are on MyFitnessPal. He is encouraging me to do the right things. I have lost over 40lbs so far. I want my Apple watch and Apple health app to track to MyFitnessPal so my son can see my daily accomplishments. Thank you so much for the easy-to-understand tutorial on how to do this. So clear and easy to understand.

    Hi! Thank you! Are there any apps for Apple watch that are anywhere compatible to fitbit? Specifically food barcode scanning to track calories, micronutrients, vitamins...etc just by the scan of a barcode and then select the serving size? Also fitbit has the sleep tracker, alarms, oxygen saturation, ECG, Temp...etc. The cool thing about fotbit is that it is all within one app instead of where it appears that with am Apple watch, you'd have to have multiple apps to do what fotbit does in a one-stop shop.

    I just switched from Fitbit to Apple Watch. I have a Fitbit Aria scale. MyFitnessPal is not syncing steps from my Apple Watch, only exercises. Under More, I clicked Steps and both Fitbit and Apple Watch are checked. I learned I can disconnect Fitbit from MyFitnessPal, but I am worried my weight from my Fitbit Aria scale won't sync with MyFitnessPal. By having both apps connected under Step tracking, is that causing the issue of my Apple Watch syncing steps? Any help you can offer would be appreciated. :)
