    Yes to Whole Foods! I started switching out my diet to real food and have lost 20lbs over 4 months without counting calories, it just naturally came off as I rid my body of all that bad stuff.

    Only issue I have is that I don't cook, my meals are cooked for me. That makes it a lot harder to track the calorie intake when it comes to dinner. Do I just do an educated guess?

    • @nacurity
      @nacurity 2 месяца назад

      If you live with your parents u can ask to cook for yourself or yeah u can guess but you have to weigh yourself every week and if you notice that your weight is not going down next week eat a bit less than last week. You can tell ChatGPT what ur eating and the ai will have a better estimate

    • @adamnichols26
      @adamnichols26 2 месяца назад

      @@nacurity perfect, thank you. I didn't even think of asking chatGPT. I mean, really I should learn to cook but ChatGPT and tracking changes in weight will do for now lol. Thanks.

    This was a great video. I appreciate this information. I need the motivation especially when I am not seeing the results. When measuring your food, and you getting the amount exact? So for example, if you are to eat 4 oz of chicken breast, and the chicken is 5 oz...are you cutting of the extrat ounce? Again - thanks for sharing.

    Great video. I also wear an Apple Watch for cycling, but unlike most, I am trying to gain weight in the form of muscle. But having issues getting over the 143lbs. I get there and I'm so full that the next morning or two, back to 139lbs. I'm using a smart scale that links with my Apple Watch and Apple Health. But never noticed the Total Calories, thanks for the info.

    Great video and congrats on your achievement. A couple of things to consider:
    1. My previous research revealed that losing 1/4 to 1/2 pound per day is safe, and reduces the chances of weight bounce.
    2. That 3500 calorie figure depends on your weight. We don’t all burn a pound at that figure

    Thank you for this video! I recently bought an Apple Watch & I’m now trying to learn how it works & I have to admit that those daily/weekly reminders in the fitness app really helps. Although last week I didn’t do that well, but yesterday I closed all the rings & my goal is to do it again today. But - I find the calorie tracking to be a bit harder, but I’m learning & Im trying to do my best. A question: I’ve been doing this before (but then I didn’t have the Apple Watch) & was able to lose weight & be more active, but then I’ve gone through a couple of surgeries followed by long periods of time afterwards of not being able to workout , to then going into surgery again. I’ll go through more surgeries in the future too & Im finding it a bit hard to get back on track. Do you have any suggestions for me about how I can approach this?

    So you didn’t really mention what workouts you did while losing weight. I have my Apple Watch ultra and would like to use it for this purpose. I am 310 pounds, and my doctor said I have to lose weight before I have health issues which are already starting to happen. I don’t have the luxury to lag on this. I’m not ready to die over stupid choices I made when I got out of the army. I have to lose weight and change my life before it’s too late. If you are open to giving me some advice I’d absolutely love it. Maybe you have a way we can private message or something? You don’t have to be a coach just a few pieces of advise based on a few questions I have. If not no worries.

      Honestly just try some walking swimming and such thats pretty easy way to start and just eat a little less and some more protein rather than food tryin a protein shake rather than sum breakfast hope this helps?

    • @raesianNW
      @raesianNW 6 месяцев назад

      This might be a little late, but I just seen your comment. I'm also a fellow army vet too and I know your struggle. We've got bad knees, backs, and other health issues going on and it's super rough. If you're anything like me with those issues + a new GI disease going on with myself you need to start small. Start by going for small walks in the evening after work, add in some "girl" push-ups where you're on the ground with your knees and just doing push-ups assisted, add in some sit-ups as you can as well. If you have the ability to use gym equipment that's even better because you can lift, use bikes/rowers (easier on our knees), etc. Don't over-do-it initially because you'll just burn yourself out to early! Take it at a slow and easy pace, and then as you build a routine start adding more exercises into the mix. Then, just like he said in the video to watch what you're eating. You've got the apple watch already, so use that as your tool for the baseline to track your expended calories, look up some at home work-outs from youtube if you don't have equipment/gym, and watch/track what you're eating (you don't have to do it as extreme as calorie counting but it helps). I hope this kind of helps you out, and that your overall health is better than it was 9 months ago brother.
