This is awesome! I have and love my old Apple Watch for many of the same reasons--but I’m VERY excited to learn about pillow and gentle streak! Thank you!
Thanks for this one Beatrice. I'll try out some of your suggestions. Did you know that you can dictate straight to your Day One journal from your Apple Watch?
How does it track sleep? Will it be able to track sleep of someone who has various sleeping patterns? E.g. graveyard shift on weekdays but normal sleeping pattern on weekends. Just want to get information before buying one. Thank you 💖 Love your review😊😊
I just got my first apple watch a few days ago and we have the EXACT same, 40mm SE 2nd gen, down to the starlight color, to the green yellow band.. it's fate I say ps: thanku smm for this video, your apple watch video from 3 years ago is THE video that made me realize I can also be active and that exercise watches are not only for those who are alr going to the gym every week (even if it still takes me a while to actually start exercising)
I’ve been using Gentler Streak for around 6 months after you recommended it, and I was drawn to it for the same reasons as you (history of over exercising and liking that it prioritises rest). However I find now that I feel guilty if I’m not “high enough” on the activity path and always want to be pushing to the top of it, and it makes it feel like exercise with a low heart rate (e.g. yoga) isn’t as “worthy”. This is probably just me and my continued mental health struggles generally and around exercise, but how did you fully shift your mindset to be more gentle as well?
ahh that's really interesting. I'm trying to really think about it and while I DO feel like I want to stay at the top of the activity range... I think i'm OK with that right now because I would like to improve my fitness! But for me the important thing is that there is a ceiling on that improvement and it limits the pace at which I try to improve So I guess if it makes you not enjoy the low heart rate activities as much, then maybe it's not good in general to use an app that tracks activity at all. I'm not sure, lots to consider, really 😅
tell me your favorite Apple Watch (or any other fruit/vegetable smartwatch) tips and trick! gonna do a newsletter compilation on Monday (btw subscribe to that for free here! www.buhtreechay.com/newsletter)
If you have a series 9 or ultra 2 and an iPhone 15, the find my phone feature tells you how far you are from the phone. That’s been super useful for me.
ohh that's super cool! do you find it to be accurate? cause sometimes Find My is not very accurate for me with tracking my airpods (it'll send a notification that they're left behind when they're with me)
@@TheBlissBean I wouldn't consider it to be "accurate" technically with the distance displayed on the screen, but it gives you a sense that you are closer by having the phone make a sound as you're getting closer and the watch vibrates as well. It's like playing Marco Polo...lol.
This was a fun Apple Watch video! I have the Apple Watch Ultra and I’m not outdoorsy but I got it because of the battery life & durability, I absolutely love it and have no regrets on it 🥳
@@TheBlissBean I get two and half days almost three ☺️ overall I have had a great experience with it 😄 didn’t upgrade this year because it was so minor the improvements they made
I have been an Apple Watch user since 2016 when I got the Apple Watch series 2. I’m a huge fan of the Watch and you will not see me go a single day without it on. I have the first ultra. Because I wanted to upgrade my watch but I wanted to feel like I made an upgrade and not just get a standard watch like the series 9. I do have serval watch faces that do different things. I did have a certain watch face I used for work. But after a recent staff meeting they brought up the usage of cellphones out of all the employees my name was the only said. The assistant manager said if she sees me doing anything on my watch she will automatically send me home. But since that comment I saw another employee on her phone text and listening to music while we were supposed to be working and the assistant manager never said a word to her. So I have switched my watch face to just numbers for the time and I set my iPhone and watch on do not disturb while I’m at work now. I only text when I go the bathroom or on break.
Hmm yeah I guess they can be seen as distracting! but honestly I would never be texting on my Watch hahaha cause it's just too tedious to do it anyways
Heyoo I don't use anything actually! It's become so ingrained in my mind at this point hahahaha But tbh I think if you create a new routine I would say the best way to remind yourself of it would be to write it on a piece of paper and put it above your desk or someplace you'll see throughout the routine
ahh interesting but I do like having it on sometimes (when working out or just being outside, so I like that the theater mode is a really quick way to change it)
You are awesome I had the first generation of the SE back in November mine conked out so I traded it in got the series 8 didn’t find the need to go for the 9. Plus it was little more. But I use mine for diabetic reminders I need plus keeps me active and I don’t use my phone as much anymore but mine has gps wifi mode and cellular Mine is midnight sport band 45 mm but I am very happy with mine Cheers and enjoy.
Hahaha when I'm working, then I don't use "lift to wake" and I tap the screen to turn it on if I need it When I'm out and about, or working out, etc. then I do like "lift to wake"
I’ve been thinking about getting one but I’m kinda confused. I want one to help track my steps and heart rate due to my heart condition but I’d mainly use it for when I go on walks without my phone, I usually listen to music and audiobooks that are downloaded so I don’t need internet, can I still use that with an Apple Watch without my phone being on me?
I do not have the “swipe to change watch-face” option in my clock settings … I like these tips videos but it’s disappointing when I find a good tip and it doesn’t work on my phone. …. other than that, good video.
The “find my phone” feature is worth an Apple Watch for me, I use that thing DAILY
right! hahaha
Same! Multiple times on daily! 🙄😂
Can you also share your latest "whats on my iphone" 2024 version plssss
Yesss I need to do that! Gonna try to asap 🫶
The production value of this video is through the roof. Wow. Congrats!
this is my FAVORITE kind of comment thank you so so much !
I really love how cheerful you are! Also great video, very relaxed but also very informative!
Aw haha thank you!
this is the best so far for explaining the apple watch! i enjoyed so much
Aww yay thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it (◡‿◡✿)

yayy hope you like the apps! Thanks for watching 😊
you mentioned using it to track your habits and I cant seem to figure out how to do that - would be great if you could let us knowww ♥
Here after my fitbit died and i finalky got a new watch. Lasted around 7 years. RIP you will be missed
I didn't know about the theater function, will definitely start using it! I also looove to be able to track everything on there
thank you for watching! 😊
Please put a screen protector on your Apple Watch so It doesn’t break or scratch I have one on my series 9 and believe me It’s worth It
ooh honestly I should yeah, i noticed some scratches on my old one!
this is crazy timing - i was watching your past video on the apple watch last night! and here’s a new one, love it! 🫶🏻
I made it just for you 🤣
Just got the 2nd gen SE and this really helped! Using theater mode during work from now on!
Thanks for this one Beatrice. I'll try out some of your suggestions. Did you know that you can dictate straight to your Day One journal from your Apple Watch?
Ahh super cool! I haven't used that cause I'm definitely more a fan of writing than dictating hehe but I can totally see that being useful :)
i feel like im in a unique spot with health metrics, im obsessive with collecting all the data but i legit do almost nothing with that data lmao.

yeah I am using the same watch and it’s so awesome!

U really motivate me to get an applr watch se 😂
haha let me know if you do!
Honestly I opted for the SE 2nd gen for the price the ultra was out of my budget and I love it as my first smart watch
haha my parents are actually the founders of gentler so it was nice finding this video

I've recently purchased apple watch 9 45mm, Im really enjoying it

Hi! This was fab. What do you use to track and save your habits? Thank you.
hiyo!! It's an app called Productive Habits, but rly i usually use the phone app to mark habits as 'done'
@@TheBlissBean Thanks so much!
Gonna have my apple watch se2 44mm on march 26. Thanks for this😊
exciting, enjoy!

heehee thank you so much!
hello, may I ask if what is the size of your apple watch? is it 40mm or 44mm?
up @TheBlissBean
It’s 40mm.
Actually there is a “real” way to turn of the wake on raise feature.
Settings -> Display and Brightness -> Wake on wrist raise
ahh interesting
but I do like having it on sometimes (when working out or just being outside, so I like that the theater mode is a really quick way to change it)
You look like Billie Eilish! cute vid tho!
How do you get WhatsApp notifications on Apple Watch?
Love your apple watch

You don't use the "lift to wake" feature? Do you press the screen or the button for the Apple Watch to turn on for you?
Hahaha when I'm working, then I don't use "lift to wake" and I tap the screen to turn it on if I need it
When I'm out and about, or working out, etc. then I do like "lift to wake"

That’s actually a great question. I wonder if AirPods do connect to it as well.

Did you searched inside settings of your watch? If you do in the phone doesn’t work it need to be in the watch. I just do it in mine! Good tip!
Do you get to watch movies and series on Netflix? Disney Plus? Or anything else similar or are you just on RUclips?
uhhh I don't really watch RUclips myself. I sometimes watch Netflix!
Im getting SE in about a month but im soooo confused between Starlight & Silver! Pleasse help😅
honestly they look so similar lol, I used to have Gold though and was used to that, so Starlight was just the closest thing!
Nice tutorial, if you turn off blue tooth on your watch it will charge faster 😊
ooh I didn't know that, thanks!

Productive Habits!

you need to pay $9.99 for the juice watch app?
Why do you put a timer when you get in the shower?
since she said its a cold shower its probably to make sure shes under the water for a certain timeframe (not too long or too short)

Yess exactly hehe, right now I'm doing 1 minute 30 seconds, so I set the timer to see when that's done!
