What do you love most about your Smart Watch?
Don't have one yet (next month for the Ultra) but probably the wake up + pay + ability to swim with it. 👌🏻
Apple Pay is a game changer indeed, I don’t see myself going back from contactless from the wrist. Is too convenient and more secure because I can disable that on the cards and it only works when I actively bring it up.
Focus modes and curated notifications on the wrist have been quite helpful to avoid distractions at work in a meaningful way for me with adhd 😊

I haven’t seen my watch’s charger since last year. I’ve only been charging it under the sun.
I like health features like the stand up one the fitness option. One thing I hate most it's the way to add music locally on the watch it's waaaaaaaaay too long and so boring. C mon apple

I couldn’t live without my Apple Watch . Health features are no. 1, Get text and calls are very convenient when phone is not close by is no. 2, No 3 is using iPods without my phone… especially at the gym. Phone goes in my bag and I listen to handset music… love this
The health features and the detaching from my phone has really made the apple Swiss 9 worth it. As an educator, I got tired of walking around the school with my phone and forgetting where I put it. This watch has literally been my mini assistant from reminding me of the many things I have to do in a day even to keeping me on schedule with alarms throughout the day. It’s really been helpful. I haven’t try the sleep thing yet though, I typically keep my phone and watch far away from me at night so I’m not sure about sleeping in it.

It’s also great for notifications for messages. I’m a teacher and can’t be using my phone whilst teaching etc. However, I can make sure I’m not missing important calls or messages. Can easily reply if it’s very urgent that I must respond too as I can speak into my watch and send a message.
Not to mention, can accept calls when not by your phone and just generally enhances your standard smartphone experience!

Hello I was actually finding these life savers playing around with my watch but specifically with the health settings for the heart you have to be a certain age for it to be utilized 😢

Love how easy & quick ApplePay is. Samsung Pay started disappearing from places & it’s always embarrassing when they don’t accept watch payments 😂

Literally here in Australia, apple pay is everywhere. Few places support gpay as well but samsung pay is super rare!

Do you need a celular version to go (for example) running without your phone? I really want to buy it, so I can go for a run and listen to music on my earbuds, without having to bring my phone along. So yeah, do you need a celular version for this, or can GPS-only version do that aswell?
nah cellular only. i dont have cellular so i cant do that but i wear my 'proper' analogue watches 95% of the time

Great job on the video, Pete! Thank you. My feelings toward my Apple Watch are a mix of love and frustration. The aspect I appreciate the most is how easy it is to use and the convenience of Apple Pay. However, the battery life is a major drawback. Even though the Ultra model's battery life is better compared to the other series (I still own an Apple Watch 7) I expected more innovative solutions from one of the world's top tech companies. By the way, Pete, you should try to get more, actually better quality sleep. You appear a bit tired. 😁 Interestingly, I have my doubts about the accuracy of the sleep tracker on the Apple Watch. There are instances when it claims I had a fantastic night's sleep, but I struggle to wake up and feel dull. Cheers.

Agreed with the battery life on the Ultra. It would be great to fine tune the sensors for what you actually care about, to extend the battery life.
Testing out a Garmin watch at the moment which has 30 day battery life which is crazy!

Sleep tracking is one thing I've never liked wearing a watch for - but I do really like how it's all just integrated into the watch so no need for an extra wearable (like Oura etc)

the only thing i can imagine using it for is to track progress with my heart rate or blood sugar (can they do that) or if i can use it with the sleep cycle app. otherwise it is just another screen to keep me from staring into the ebautiful sky

In apple watches, the SE is supreme, but for the best results use Fitbits such as the inspire 3

If you own an iPhone, buying an apple watch is a given because the apple ecosystem just flows better than buying a watch from a different company. Although, ultimately, the decision is up to you I’d rather have the flow of having the apple ecosystem over having another company’s watch.
The activity rings is the most important features for me..
cheap amazfit for $60 is enough for me and battery last longer then 1 week.

The number 1 reason for no watch is the charging moment. I know phones need charging too, but that’s different from a watch that is strapped to your wrist. I don’t get it how the sleep tracker works, cuz if it’s my choice, I charge the watch but how can it then track my sleep

I have 1 reason over all of pros to sell it, and use normal watch. Battery. I want reliable watch, with some futures like world time, and timer. I used Apple Watch for 1 year and never more. Every day charging is something frustrating me. Next solar watch will do it for me. If phone battery dies I can rely on watch, but Apple Watch. I’d call it smartband with watch future.
I never wanted an Apple Watch, but just ordered one to keep track of my phone….I lost it when I was out and asking people if they have an iPhone and if I can check on their Find My Phone to locate it is like asking for peoples social security #….they were acting like I was a scammer….I just had to go home, look on my iPad and did end up finding it and getting it back fortunately but it was a pain…..with a Apple Watch, I’ll at least be able to find it if I’m out and lose it again……

I purchased the Apple Watch my very first Apple Watch series 9 in midnight about a month ago and I do like it. I feel like the Apple Watch can definitely make some improvements on their apps alone. I really wanted to get the Apple Watch Ultra but it’s over $1000 so I don’t think that’s going to happen 🎃👻🎃👻👻⌚️

I do have an Android too, but planning to buy an iPhone 8 for 100€ (second hand) so that I can initialize the watch, even less reason to carry my phone after that (no iPhone no Android this way). 👌🏻

Lol that’s pretty funny man the ‘ decibel feature ‘ that lets you know if you’ve been in an environment that’s loud for too long. That’s what you’ve got ears for, if you don’t know that your environments pretty loud and you might wanna remove yourself if possible then you’ve got serious serious problems that an Apple Watch will never be able to solve for you
It's actually a pretty cool feature for those in a work environment that has OSHA rules to follow. It's difficult to tell the difference between say 80 decibels and 86 decibels. That is important to know when you are required to have ear protections on.

Reason #1 to NEVER wear an Apple Watch if you’re in a relationship…. The constant buzzing and vibrating will annoy you to the point where you no longer want to spend time with that person ever again. I’m speaking from experience!!! Trust me!!!

Hi I just want you tell you all that every Branded Smartwatch in the market will fulfill your Health Needs with accuracy not only an Apple watch. Secondary Samsung is way superior and innovative than Apple. Apple is having lot of limitations on iphone and watch it looks like Apple is in control of your Apple Product not you even you have purchased it with your hard earned money.
Trust me if you didn’t have the REM sleep you wouldn’t be here talking. You definitely have REM sleep even if you sleep few hours. It’s just you need at least 7h of sleep. Check Fatal Familial Insomnia, is a genetic condition where people loose the ability to have REM phase.
