Just got the Series 9 from the GT3 PRO Titanium. What I miss about the GT3 pro is that the battery lasts pretty long. So when I go on a trip, I usually don't bring the charger with me. Also the sleep tracking on GT3 Pro is pretty good and accurate out of the box and you don't have to install another app, rely on a schedule, or manually toggle. But, the Series 9 feels a whole lot lighter on the wrist and feels more comfortable worn during sleep.
But the battery still sucks. And that's the most important factor on a device.. 30 hours is just pathetic on a 500 euro watch.. My Huawei GT4 has 9 days battery, and my Huawei 4 Pro 5 days.. I got with the AW Ultra 2 four days battery, but the other series are just bad.
@@Tha-King-Arthur Yep, battery is pretty the 1 thing i had hoped to be better. It does charge quick so i just charge it when i take a shower and am usually good for the day.
Great buy on the Huawei. These Apple fanboys trying to justify the price tag. GT3 pro rocks similar features, 5x the battery life, at half the price. After a few charges, mine is rocking up to 10 days when not too active in terms of workouts (only 3-4hrs per week) and with all features on. Looking forward to getting the 4.x releases which improve the sleep accuracy algorithms (the only real drawback of the watch). I really don’t need it to be recording my stats at that time, I don’t particularly want to be disturbed and I can’t stand the feel of moisture underneath the band. It’s silicone, but whatever the material, I always have to have it dry. Also, the soap can weaken the water proofing, so it just seems unnecessary.

@@linkinparkmovie well, funny thing is that I had a Ultra 2 in December, returned it, have now a Garmin Forerunner 965 and already thinking about returning that one too. Guess I don't know what I want haha
Apple watch is the only thing in Apple ecosystem system I don’t have. However, as I grow older, I will need to track my heart rate, my O2 levels and also all kinds of health statistics. What should I get? GPS or GPS+ Cellular?
Personally, I would never go for a cellular unless it’s the exact same price as the GPS model. That is because, to use cellular, you need to add a watch data plan to your cellular provider (which, admittedly, isn’t too expensive, but it’s still another fee). Additionally, I never leave my phone at home and I never take calls from my watch, so there would never be a time when I would need the cellular on my watch. That’s just me, though, and your mileage may vary based on your own use-case. For me, it’s just an unnecessary fee. I’ve had a series 3 with cellular capabilities since launch (a gift from a friend), and I’ve never once used it as the cellular would be another $5 or $7 a month to enable with my provider for a feature I’d never use.
My SE1's battery was down to 84% I bought the S8 when it was on sale in my town. No other models, so bought it and didn't know it was ,1 mm bigger. With the new battery this is a nice upgrade for me.
I've used the apple watch series 3 since 2018. It just shucked out on me 2 days ago. The screen has lines going through it and won't display anything. Just bought the Apple Watch series 9. Was going to try to hold off to wait for the Apple Watch X next year but the amount of times in the past 2 days I've looked at my wrist and not had my apple watch is too much to bare lol
Coming from a series 4 with 73% battery health, I feel like this will be a worthwhile upgrade. I prefer the stainless models, and I'm quite happy that mine has lasted as long as it has, but it's definitely starting to show its age. I wish the black ones were still carbon coated, though. There are no visible marks on mine despite daily use for so many years.
Caved in this year and finally got a Apple Wasch. I got to admit, I actually like it. I had been looking at the Ultra but decided on Series 9. I tend to hold onto tech until it is EOL so if I do like that much I will probably go with the top of the line when the time comes.
I don't have an Apple Watch yet, but I'm definitely getting one very soon. I'm still debating on the 9 or SE. Whether to get cellular or not and the size. I have a Fitbit versa 2 and I'm trying to compare sizes 😭
My wife is considering Apple Watch 9 or Amazfit Bip 5 as her first digital watch. I personally think that AW will smother integrate with iPhone, however, the Amazfit has same functionality but 5 times cheaper. Are there some unbeatable pros for Apple Watch?
the pros are that you can’t buy the Apple Watch series 9 so you don’t really have an option. anyways, the Apple Watch as a whole works much better with the iPhone but if you want a cheaper version the Apple Watch SE is still here, and you can actually buy that one
It needs a new design bad it does still look good but it’s definitely time for a change the only reason why I picked up a ultra 2 is because I came from a series 7 and it looks too identical
I just got the Series 9 for Christmas. Quite love it. I had an old samsung galaxy watch that was so bogged down with samsung proprietary software it was bleh.
I’m using an Apple watch 6 and an android phone with quad dac, 3.5mm headphone socket, sd card slot, optional second screen (updating using my iPad). It works brilliantly for my needs. I’ve tried Android watches and others and they don’t give me what I want. By not being continually paired (unless I choose to using tethering) I get well over 2 days battery. However, I would love to have an Air Watch that gave me a week’s use as I’m away from time to time without charging access (and use a cheap Amazfit in those situations). When my android phone gives up, given that there is nothing as good in the android world I’ll switch permanently to an iPhone.
I use a smart watch to tell time, silent alarms, receive texts, motivate fitness, and set timers. Used Fitbit for several years but they kept breaking after two years. Currently using an Amazbit, which i’ve loved as it does all those things had has a 30ish day battery and was $40. However, I need to get motivated to move so I’m going to give apple watch a try. Curious to see how I cope with the battery and they’re hella expensive but whatever.

First time buying an apple watch, but really debating if i should by a SE or a 9. I have been using a Garmin, but new job where I am using notifications a lot more.
wait so is the offline siri thing only for series 9, not any previous models?
Yep... Apple being apple (also works on the ultra 2)
I’m a newbie to iPhone (got the 15) and am considering getting my first Apple Watch. At this point in the year should I get the series 9 or wait for the X in fall?
How crack resistance is the glass on the aluminum models? Always bought stainless steel with sapphire, but want to try an aluminium one.
Hello,
maybe someone here can help me.
Does the precision Finding only work with Iphone 15 or does it also work with older ones?
I’m thinking of upgrading my series 6 stainless steel to the series 9. Since the pricing is close to the ultra 2, not sure what I’ll end up getting. Ultra 2 pros is the battery life and the improved speakers. Thanks for the information.
Hey man great video which watch band is this in your video?
I haven't worn a watch for over ten years and I'm always on time.
What sleep app are you using? I see it tells you the quality of your sleep in a percentage?
Pillow
thanks sir, helps i bought a ihone 12 pro idk how good it be I order the 45mm 9 pink watch hope its not a mistake I'm just typeingg while watch your video at the same time yes your screen round isn't normal to me
I'm still using my series 3, but the battery capacity is down to 75%. I'll probably keep using it as long as I can, but looking forward to the upgrade!
I have a series 2. It is so slow. Thinking of this Apple Watch or maybe 10. But so tempting to buy series 9 i dont know what to do
Sell all your material possessions and move to the wilderness and rediscover yourself, only then will you find the answer
Please give me an advise. Should I buy Apple Watch 9 or should I wait for 10? I never had a watch before.
Consider what you want the watch to do and if the 9 does it, get it. There will always be the next year model.
@@miedzinshs agree, thank you
Just got the Series 9 from the GT3 PRO Titanium.
The only Apple watch that comes close to being a proper wearable (in terms of battery life) is the Ultra 2 but with a price tag equivalent to flagship phones and laptops!
@@georgemavrides3434 Huawei is great but not very great. Because a lot of options simply don't work due to the restrictions against China.. NFC, ECG, Celia, Downloading apps from appgallery don't work in the country where I live..
i don’t really understand what the point of sleep tracking is if your watch lasts ~24 hours? are you supposed to charge it during the day, when you’re using it?
It takes 30 minutes to charge if you put it on at the same time every day. Lot of folks just put it on charge when they go in the shower.
my wife bought me my first ever apple watch last week and it was the s9, im honestly blown away at how good it is. i've already recommended all my friends to get one
Link to the wristband pleaseeeee 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I had the Samsung galaxy active 1 and upgraded to the series 9 last year when I switched from android to apple.
I love my Apple Watch, but I wouldn’t wear it in the shower.
Usually when I’m showering or taking a bath, that’s when I charge it.
Upgrading from Apple Watch 6 after it died in the surf on vacation in Costa Rica. Sand got in between my skin and the back of the watch causing the back glass to literally shatter..… it was my faithful companion for three years straight but I’m looking forward to upgrading
Thanks for the review Kyle. I like watch os 10, but I hate the removal of App Dock.
the one that shows when you double click your crown?
@@KyleErickson kind of. Double clicking the crown with watch os 10 gives your recently opened apps with no control over their order. The previous app dock used to let you sort them based on preference.
Should I upgrade my series 3 to a series 9 or se?
I am seriously thinking of getting a series 9 Apple Watch but at the back of my mind I am just thinking, "It's just a watch" ... but is there more to it than that. Plus I am worried that in 3 years it will be obsolete or the battery will be useless., Those are my concerns. But I really enjoyed the video and I will be looking at your WatchOS10 video soon
I’m using the Ultra gen 1 that I picked up in the first part 2023. I love it. Larger and brighter screen. I was coming from the series 6
Upgraded from an old fitbit to series 9, still getting used to the awful battery life lol my fitbit would last me 2 weeks between charges. I do like a lot of the features though and find it much more versatile than my old watch.
I don't have an Apple Watch right now but I want to buy a 9 or Ultra 2. Not sure yet which one.
me to
@@linkinparkmovie well, funny thing is that I had a Ultra 2 in December, returned it, have now a Garmin Forerunner 965 and already thinking about returning that one too.
AW Ultra has standard a Gps+Cellular..
i got the apple watch series 9, just a week ago and enjoying it a lot.
My SE1's battery was down to 84% I bought the S8 when it was on sale in my town. No other models, so bought it and didn't know it was ,1 mm bigger. With the new battery this is a nice upgrade for me.
I’m still using my original Apple Watch series 0 daily 😅. Does everything I need it to, and still holds a charge.
The apple watch ultra 2 seems alot better, here trying to figure out what to get
You handling box! With two hands!!!
So how you will use double tap?
use one hand on the box, you're welcome
Caved in this year and finally got a Apple Wasch. I got to admit, I actually like it. I had been looking at the Ultra but decided on Series 9. I tend to hold onto tech until it is EOL so if I do like that much I will probably go with the top of the line when the time comes.
I don't have an Apple Watch yet, but I'm definitely getting one very soon. I'm still debating on the 9 or SE. Whether to get cellular or not and the size. I have a Fitbit versa 2 and I'm trying to compare sizes 😭
what webcam model is it in 2:31?
Battery being toast on series 6?? I’m still wearing series 3 lol because size. But I have my 9 coming in the next 2-3 weeks! I am excited. 😆
@@Roxleton Thank you for clarification!
It needs a new design bad it does still look good but it’s definitely time for a change the only reason why I picked up a ultra 2 is because I came from a series 7 and it looks too identical
What charging “tray” do you use?
I have the ultra 2 and I love how I only have to charge it every few days
I just got the Series 9 for Christmas. Quite love it. I had an old samsung galaxy watch that was so bogged down with samsung proprietary software it was bleh.
Just ordered my series 9 come stoday
I have a 5 and will be going to the Ultra 2.
I’m getting my first Apple Watch today it is the series 9 45 mm midnight blue and I bought a case for it already and I hope it fits it’s an investment and I want it protected I’m checking my phone constantly to see a message saying out for delivery
How about quality mine just messed up, paint chipping scratches nd stuff
Apple Watch is the reason I an paying for both Apple Music and Spotify.
Spotify is my main music service by far, but for offline music listening on the AW+Airpods when I go work out as I prefer to leave my phone at home when working out.
Spotify has added the feature but it’s not working 🤦🏻♂️
I disagree that the Velcro strap is more comfortable than the ocean band. Maybe the other rubber bands, but not the ocean.
After all the money over Christmas, and the watches being on sale on Boxing Day, I'm going to get my first Apple Watch, the Series 9. I feel like it'll be good for me to use my phone less, but still be connected to people that need me
Have Fitbit charger 5 was thinking on getting Apple Watch series 9 but I’ve got mix felling about it is it worth purchasing
I am an HVAC tech working harsh conditions. Would the series 9 or ultra be best?
I had the series 1,3 ad 6 and the ultra. I worked a a marine engineer. Many times I forgot to take watch off. Many scratches or broken faces. Ultra. Leave it on. Rinse it off. Looks like new
Just ordered an s9 today, first smart watch for me and I’m happy to hear the good reviews 😊❤ TkU
Is that 41mm or 45mm?
45
Kyle you’re talking about the wrong alternative to Double Tap. It’s called quick action not assistive touch.
Considering getting one for sleep tracking and workouts. Is this the 41mm?
unfortunately not
@@_____bbbbb259 I got the 41mm in the end. Can confirm it's very confortable during sleep.
What case is that for your iPhone 15 Pro?
Rhinoshield!
Perhaps you haven't tried Huawei GT 3 pro
Good video. I’m considering switching from Fitbit to Apple series 9. Google has made Fitbit app less attractive. My 3 or 4 yo Versa needs charging almost as frequently as Apple Watch will. You brought up good points.
