I have a Cultured European female friend who grooves to classical music and has an engineering mind. She does not only not appreciate rock, she ranks on it for its simplicity and noise emitted by the speakers. Yes with all her culture and smarts, fails to recognize the art value expressed by so many talented musicians. I have tried to reason with her but, to no avail at nearly fifty, she will never change.
One of the top albums of all time. The genius in its making will never be rivaled. Legendary in its timing. The gods only come together periodically but they were there that day. I don't need your approval, I will have my pudding before I eat the meat. 🤣🤣🤣
My dad took me to see pink floyd the wall when it first came out in the movie theater. I thought it was weird until I got older. I have watched it 100 times and I love it. I love the music and I am a die hard floyd fan till the day I die. Thanks dad!!!!
My dad showed it to me when i was like 8 and I had no clue what I just watched.
FFW years later now im 15 and understand it a whole lot more.
Same
That's brilliant u got to see what floyd was all about
I am sad 16 years old guy who doesn't have friends listening to this.
I love Pink Floyd with my whole hearth, idk how people cannot like them.
i pity your friends, they don't know what good music is... :)
Yeah too true , this is proper music, don't worry about it.
Keep on rockin'!
They're very different from anything yesterday or today, there are not many bands out there that could put on a spectacular show like these guys
Im 16 and all my listen to this!
still great to this day
very strong (yet simple) lyrics, trippy instrumentals, and great solos... there's nothing more you could ask for in psychedelic rock music
In 1979 I was the first kid on my street to buy 'The Wall'! I was 12!! :)
Solid decision!😆
Yeah on vinyl is awesome
Gracias por estar conmigo cuando me siento sola y escucho está música de excelentes y grandes artistas
Esta música se mete en la piel y ahí se queda para siempre...
All the songs lyrics:
Another Brick In The Wall Part I
Daddy's flown across the ocean
Leaving just a memory
A snap shot in the family album
Daddy what else did you leave for me?
Daddy, what you leave behind for me?
All in all, it was just a brick in the wall
All in all, it was all just bricks in the wall.

The Happiest Days Of Our Lives
You
Yes you
Stand still laddie.
When we grew up and went to school
There were certain teachers
Who would hurt the children, anyway they could.
By pouring there derision upon anything we did
Exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids.
But in the town it was well known
When they got home at night
There fat and psycopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of there lives.

Another Brick In The Wall Part 2
We don't need no education
We don't need no thoughts control
No dark sarcasm, in the classroom
Teacher leave them kids alone.
Hey teacher, leave those kids alone.
All in all, it's just another brick in the wall
All in all, you're just another brick in the wall.
We don't need no education
We don't need no thoughts control
No dark sarcasm, in the classroom
Teacher leave them kids alone
Hey teachers, leave those kids alone.
All in all, it's just another brick in the wall
All in all, you're just another brick in the wall.
Wrong, do it again
Wrong, do it again
If you don't eat your meat
You can't have any pudding
How can you have any pudding,
If you don't eat your meat?
You
Yes you, behind the bike sheds?
Stand still laddie.

Another Brick In The Wall Part III
I don't need no arms around me
And I don't need no drugs to calm me
I have seen the writing on the wall
Don't think I need anything at all
No, don't think I'll need anything at all.
All in all, it was all just bricks in the wall
All in all, you were all just bricks in the wall.

Likhlal Brahim I always thought it was "I don't need no walls around me."
I've been trying to find the lyrics in 'waters' but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Specifically the part between 4:35 and 4:46. Do you happen to know what they are or where I can find them?
Christian Medina Im pretty shure it is i think he did it wrong
Some people can listen the music... but the ones who can feel..... is another history.
ive always said i dont listen to music but feel it deep in my soul
This song reminds me when they torn the berlin wall down
Timothy Worisck I remember Moscow music festival on paper view was my bday present.... awesome thanks for the memories.....
You mean another great story!!!
I'm fairly certain I've never met anyone who couldn't feel music. Different sorts of music, naturally. And different feelings. But still.

Best music on the planet. The whole current generation hasn't got a clue about good music.
That's because the crap they listen to is not music
It's all done on a computer
Rock and Roll will never die!

This is art and anyone who says otherwise is uncultured.
This album will stand the rest of time. While other will come and go this album still has many adolescent parties to come. Only the genius understand
I'm 76 yrs young. It's 21:03 p.m. here in Pescara - Italy - e la penso esattamente come il Sig. Craig Taylor.

Hmm, do I really need to answer that?

Part 2 is my favorite of the 3 but I never expected that all 3 would sound so great together.
This is the coolest 11 min of music ever...

Where did Rock and roll go? Kids today are still listening to this, thankfully

377 people are brain dead. The greatest band in history playing their signature song. How can you dislike?
Make that 521 Cult 45-ers that stand with someone who belongs in The Fletcher Memorial Home.
I'd say their signature song is Comfortably Numb.
809 now
I’d say it’s Us and Them, if only it had gotten more popular.
Agree bro..totally epic! The song for all future generations!
Absolute Classic, very rare to have all three parts in succession. This is proper classic rock. Brilliant guitar work, great vocals and excellent drumming by the icon that is the legend Nick Mason.

Very fortunate to see this Live first time round. 9th of August 1980, Earls Court, London.
This song heals my soul with its rich and unique sounds. No song like Another Brick...
I owe the epicness of my Pink Floyd journey to my parents, especially my dad. The Wall is just the most amazing album. Being someone who is schizophrenic, this album just hits different. It hits the heart and mind in so many ways. Man when I first heard this song it blew my mind. It’s a banger then and it’s a banger now. This album is just top tier. There isn’t a song on this album that sucks. Thank you Pink Floyd for changing our lives! Also part 2 is just it, the best! 🤘🏻
I have schizophrenia and many Pink Floyd songs describe so much of how I feel.
