Mine are already damaged (slightly scuffed) after a month as I use a golf car and the clubs knocked on each other before I bought club head covers for them. Get covers if you plan to get the T200s.
I didn’t realize it was such a chintzy plastic. Got a little bag rash after my first round and have had iron covers since. Annoying but no new scratches in over 40 rounds. On the plus side I absolutely love the way they play.
I found I cannot trust the distances from the simulators to actual the actual course. It all depends on their settings as they can set temperature and humidity settings as well as wind. Where I was fitted, settings were a 70° day with 0% humidity. Where I live, normal temp is mid 80s with upper 70s to mid 80s % humidity regularly. I, typically, hit my 7 iron 170 and went to a fitting and it showed 158 to 162. Best I could do is compare simulator distance to simulator distance and look at ball flight taking course distance out of the equation. Hope that makes sense and helpful.
In my opinion the t200s felt much more solid. The sound and the center of the face hits felt and sounded better than the 790s. Both clubs are great that was just my experience. I currently play the 2021 t200s.
Increase the recording sound level up please.
Have you seen or heard any reports of the polymer insert at the back of the club being damaged or coming off after a few rounds?
I have also heard of this but I think its pretty rare. Im sure if it was a big enough issue there would be more news about it.

Which iron are you testing here? 7 or 8 iron?
