I appreciate your explanation because I’m waiting on the Mavic 3 Pro CINE to be delivered and I’m having some of the same thoughts!

Thank you for the great video. I have a stupid question. If I were to capture prores, edit on the timeline and export my edit from final cut as H265, would I lose the whole benefit of having prores in the first place? Does the extra quality in prores remain even though the final project is in H265? Meaning the whole benefit of prores is the extra editing power but not the quality in the end? Thanks again. I thought this question on another video and I thought it was a great question but it was never answered. I realize you said normal color looks great, and I agree. I also know it’s 10-bit even in normal color when working with Prores. Thanks again man, great stuff.

Thanks. You won’t benefit as much in image quality since they look almost identical. But you’ll definitely benefit of speed using prores. And if you re-export many times same file in prores it’s lossless

Would be worth mentioning the battery dock only charges one battery at a time. This can take several hours. If you want to keep shooting for a client you need a charger that charged 3 batteries simultaneously. I found one online to replace. What LUT are you using in post. Your grass was really over saturated, emerald green and not realistic. Assume you use a 3D LUT that controls color separate from levels. Some nice city footage at night in your video.

Thanks. Good note. Didn’t notice that about the charging doc. Quiet honestly the batteries last so long that I don’t use as many batteries as I used to.
I think I used Arri lut with some adjustments.
The image has so much information that you can achieve pretty much any look you’d like. Really enjoying this truly flat profile

DJI is the idiot savant perk in fallout 4. They have lut viewer in m2p, but not inspire 2....
