This is SO cool to see the Bay in someone else's vid 😁 I'm a local drone pilot (part 107 as well) and RUclipsr. I'm inspired by your skills. Makes me wanna step my game up. Keep em coming! 👌🏾✌🏾🚀
Wonderful footage! I fly the Mavic 3 also and really agree with the smaller form factor I can get shots that my old Yuneec H Plus was very hard to fly in tight spaces. I mostly film trains with a lot of pacing shots which is so smooth and comfortable to do with the mavic 3.
Great Video, not long bought my inspire 2, use mavic 3 classic too. Struggling to use the I2 at the moment but this gave me the spur to get out and utilise it more!
Hi, thankyou for posting all your videos about the Inspire 2! Really like your enthusiasm and your experiance shines through. I'm in the UK, and work for a residential builder, we bought the Inspire 2 and a load of nice lenses two years ago for our videography team, however unfortunately we had to make the guys redundant at the start of the year, so now the Drone and all this cool equipment hasn't been used and no one to fly it! I'm a 3d visualiser by trade and always wanted to give it a go so I'm currently learning to do A2 CofC & GVC course. It's great to hear that you would still recommend using the Inspire 2, even if it is outdated and old - I let it Rip for the first time today and it's such a powerful beast! I totally get what you are saying about Co-partnering with the two controllers however, are there any tips for people like me who are starting out with this type of equipment, and want to capture some really nice footage whilst going at it solo? Thanks again!
thanks for the support man, i appreciate it. You can certainly get great shots while operating just yourself forsure man. If I were you and I wanted to improve my cinematic drone video, I would just try to get as familar with the drone as possible. What do I mean? I would fly it in open areas and just get used to all the basic drone controls until it becomes muscle memeory. Do orbits, practice flying around and doing different and creative movements. I always like to think of the drone as a flying Jib or crane and just practice smooth rises and descents mixed with other controls. I would defintely try to eventually incoporate at least movements at once to get dynamic shots. ie: rising up, going to the right and also tilting the camera down. In drone shots the tilt of the camera is very important to be smooth and in sync with your other movements to get a nice shot. just fly fly and fly so when you have a job to actually shoot something important, you wont be nervous about flying and you can just let loose. hope this helps!
Nice footage and talk. Thx I^m a still photographer and currently own a Mavic 2 Pro. Currently there are a hew i2 at reasonable price with the Z7 camera, so I'm thinking about buying one to have aerial image qualiy on pair with my R5. So my question is based on your experience, is-it possible to fly an i2 as a single pilote for still shooting. If so, how far is it from the expererince of flying the Mavic 2 pro with the smart controller? Thx in advance for your informed inputs on this matter. Bst rgds
hey man, thanks for the support. Flying an inspire single op is definitely do able. I recently purchased an inspire 3 and i just did a professional video job as a single operator. Especially if you are just doing photos it will be very similar to flying the MP2, its just a larger and clunkier drone. But to be honest I probably wouldn't invest in such an old drone. I would recommend picking up a newer Mavic 3. The reason being is because since you are coming from an older drone the remote, camera and whole system is much more modern and for stills I think it will match well with your r5
@@LucizenVisuals Thx for your inputs. I did some comparisons - for stills - between Mavic 3 and Mavic 2 Pro and saw no IQ improvements (my feeling is improvments were developped for video). My aim is to dramatically improve my IQ compare to my Mavic 2 Pro (Dynamic range, noise level, and optical quality). For sure an i3 with the Z9 will be on par with my R5... but at a too high price point to me. Currently, I've got a few opportunities to buy second hand i2 with Z7, cadence, 6 to 8 batteries and optics for a price point arround 3 to 4 grands. Final decision is not made, that's why I'm seeking information from informed users such as you. So based on this backgroud... what do you think ? Any inputs from other users are more than welcome. Thx
hey man i was wondering the same thing a few weeks ago... i just bought an inspire 3 and its freaking awesome. If there is a ban it wont actually take effect for another few years. Also it wont affect already existing models and lastly i just heard that the bill did not pass the house. So yeah right now is probably the best time to buy one. Do it man!
Well darn, I look forward to the Karen’s and Kens. Here in Oregon it’s a $5k civil judgement if someone interferes with the sUAS system. It’s also a felony under state law. And I always run a police body cam just for them.

Wow I wish this video came out a 1 year ago. The best of it's kind
Yeah that line of sight is definitely important with gulls all over the place.
No need to worry about the regs, like no BVLOS or OOP.

I saw you'd say that you've got an inspire 3 As in purchased or rented ?
purchase! just came in last week, gonna be a bunch of i3 content coming out soon, stay tuned!
Hey! Do you have any thoughts on the possible DJI ban? I want to buy a DJI drone, but I'm afraid of the ban and wasting $1500 to $2500 :(

the 7x on the mavic pro looks like garbage, very disappointing.
