@@MH_DalamYama and Nakarkos wouldn't make much sense since they have a lot of features in common with the likes of Kushala and Teostra in terms of anatomy. Yama even still has a tail, fingers, feet and vestigial wingbones from a once hexapod body.

I DESPERATELY want a random character *any character* to die in MH: Wilds. Something about the lack of Human/Wyverian death in the MH games just pushes me out of the immursion of the game. Yes, if you're wondering, I think the Oiled up Splatoon Narkarkos looks cute
While not in the games narrative directly there is plenty of death in MH Lore, but I do agree that for how lethal the monsters can be there is no reference in game to how dire that can be for non-hunters. While I generally dont think a narrative needs death, in MH specifically it is odd the lack of it.
nakarkos is an elder dragon and based off of a cuttlefish where as the new one is heavily octopus and considering its an apex i highly doubt its an elder dragon. they are nothing alike that and nakarkos only uses its 2 main large tentacles the others being small
@@drakologarnus7248 I see your points for that, I'm not 100% sure if it'll be an Elder or just the Apex predator of the area or not. One of the criteria for elder dragons is that they typically don’t really fall in line with other monsters in the series. More like his distant cousin.

Music fire tho
It IS tho??? Can't wait to see how the Black Flame's music will go, too lol

I'm surprised nakarkos theme isn't in the top 10

im hoping this means the cephalopods will get their own category rather than being sorta weirdly lumped into elders.
I honestly had a thought that this monster reminded me of that elder dragon.
Said it before and I'll say it again, we need a Kraken category/class.
You know actually? Aside from Nakarkaros, it looks very much like a Hedorah wanna be. And it did a fine job at that.

I see exactly what you're talking about all the tar and the way the eyes are designed big shiny and vertical
