It does not teach a great level of "sakuga", excellent sketching of the human body, but these tasks explain the work process of the "work" animators have to do when they start working on site. If you enter an animation company with these knowledge, your seniors will be quite surprised and will like it because you can learn the job quickly. Animators are using these lines before actual coloring to indicate Highlights and Shadows and/or gradient. Blue lines : Shadows outlines Red lines : Highlights outlines Green lines : Gradient indicator And they also commonly fill in those colors, which varies on our individual opinion. For example : (For the gradient, you don't really have to fill in.) Purple : Hair Shadow Yellow : Highlights fill in Light/Dark Green : Saturation Lighter Blue : Others (Clothes, skin...) Slight darker Yellow : Skin Shadows It really varies depending on you. I honestly use pink for accessories and orange for skin Shadows. It's very up to you to choose how many fill in colors, outlines you are comfortable with and in which spot you put them.

im still confused about the difference between red, blu and yellow line...pls some explain it to me
