It is a good one off guide for revealing an effortless golf swing technique minus the hard work. After watching your instructions, I can hit irons really solid using the techniques you taught. I am currently working on driver swing. Now I only watch your channel exclusively.

So I used to golf as much as I could a long time ago. But thanks to my injuries and TBI, from the military I kind of stopped. I got tired of the balls ending up on other's fairways, but ever since watching your videos, WOW. I started up again a few months back, and something about how you instruct, keep it simple, and your examples really has me motivated. So much so that I aim playing better than I have ever been, to the point where I want to try my luck with the VGA. I want to fly over and take some one-on-one lessons with you, before I attempt the VGA, but being medically retired doesn't pay much lol. Saving my money for the flight and the lessons. Thank you for posting what you post. It has helped so much.

Thank you for the lessons Clay. My friends keep telling me I'm hitting my irons fat and thin because I'm dropping my right shoulder on my downswing. I like your explanation much better. I think I'm dropping my shoulder because I'm not transferring my weight properly. My swing has also caused great pain in my middle and lower back. Again, I'm guessing it's caused by me not transferring my weight to my left side. I'm going to the range tomorrow and trying everything you mention in your first three videos. You explained lag like I've never heard before. Thanks again!

Thank you Clay... I had stopped playing golf 6 years ago due to a shoulder injury. Shoulder is now back to normal and I am hitting solid straight drives and irons. You are by far the best golf instructor on RUclips since you demonstrate and explain in a way that is so easy to understand. My average drive is now around 280yds which isn't bad for a 67 year old retired golf course superintendent! Thanks a million..... Ken U.K

Clay I can’t tell you how right you are about lag angle and trying not to cast club. I have had to rebuild my swing as I was loosing power and distance. Over time and studying this I have realized my critical mistakes. Thank you for your instruction and sharing all you knowledge with us mere mortals. You are the best!

Clay, You have change my golf life! Thanks to your instuctions, I have dropped my handicapped 4-5 strokes over the past several months. I have been an over the top swing golfer my whole life just as your describe in your training videos. I have taken your tips and made dramatic changes in my game! I'm still a little over the top but much much improved. It's so hard to change something I have done my whole life. I can't really feel that I'm over the top but I film my swing and watch my ball flight that tells me I am. Still a work in progress but thank you for the vids! I'm convinced if I spent a few hours on the range with you...you would have near scratch! Keep up the good work and thank you for the vids!!!

I found out which clubs I favored the most towards the end of 9 holes. I can’t wait to go again. I kinda went on the spur of the moment last trip, so next round I def would benefit from the driving range FIRST:)

Thank you so much for showing how to turn left/right when swing use driver, to get a better and more straighter hit on the ball! It helped me alot already on my first tries, so I do that all the time now and I have so much power in my swing too! I can tell u all watching this, TRY IT and find your own swing! Cuz its like cooking..you try different things and finally you will find what works for you!
I agree with working out trying extreme open and closed stances to get better feel for the swing dynamics and moving the ball both ways. Can help you find your own ideal sweet spot.

There are several tips for ways to improve your golf
Keep fit
Position your feet correctly
Learn the best body posture
(I read these and the reasons they work from Gavs Golf Tactic website )
Wish I was in the next bay. I love helping people improve their swing. We all know the basics and mechanics. i say find your rhythm and the swing for your frame and build. If you've played any other sports keep drawing on basic principals from that or anything else you are more proficient at. i come Back to Clay and his content to.make sure I've got good basics and don't break any cardinal rules.
The beauty of golf is you are challenging yourself and the more I learn about it the more I realize seemingly unrelated disciplines actually help golf. Many baseball players struggle in golf for such and such reasons. i was serious tennis player. Clay's golf.lessons made.so.much.more sense when I found out he has tennis instructions too. i actually was really mad I didnt have this 30 yrs ago for my tennis. I thought my background in other things such.as.boxing and tennis damaged my golf game. Im.no.coach or.expert but keep striving for a beautiful and natural.swing

I was at the range yesterday working on my driver swing. Because on Sunday I would tee off and the ball would gradually continue to go right in the air. So at the range yesterday I was trying to figure out why... And here you go and post my why... So here I go back to the range. Thanks for the video

Thank you!!! I've been playing for years, and I have basically no distance because I can't create that lag. Somehow I'm about a 12-15 handicap...mainly because I'm good on and around the greens. I like the idea of practicing draw and fade, hook and slice, so you can work out how it curves and why. Great tip 👍
I've actually realized that I can reach 119-122 mph with a full/hard swing and on average ,113-116 with a " weightless half swing" and they are more controlled

I feel like I’m swing the driver hard but the launch monitor tells me it’s only 95-100. That’s not fun because I’m a mid 20s guy but I’m only swinging as fast as the ladies.

I binge watched your videos last night for a couple of hours and took notes. Today, i played the best round of golf I've ever played. beat my previous best score by 8 strokes. I'm not saying that's all it takes. I also have been working on my swing a lot more recently but your videos helped me put it all together. Thank you for such detailed instructions!
