Reminds me of a TS speedrunner called Emosewa or something, who made an analogy about getting double pistols from picking them up off enemies, but being unable to use just one pistol; it's like having a shower with shampoo AND conditioner, or neither, but not just one.
The Future Perfect zombies were just so grotesque that I didn’t even want to finish the Mansion Of Madness or the zombie challenges as a kid. Then I realize the zombies were too easy even on hard mode. I guess I wish their unarmed attacks did more damage.
I agree lol! Zombies in TimeSplitters were always so cool and a blast to fight, but they weren't very challenging most of the time. In Future Perfect, the only zombie trouble I had was with Rare or Well Done, and that's mainly because of the small area, large number and that type of zombie (Carrion Carcass) couldn't be killed with just a headshot. In 2 they were extremely easy as well. Now TimeSplitters 1 zombies were outright overpowered. Invulnerable to everything but headshots, their hits hurt like a bitch, and unlike FP zombies, they could use firearms proficiently. I got instant killed SO many times by zombies with Tommy Guns and Shotguns. Not to mention they apparently MAGICALLY made the Shotguns fully automatic 😂
oh man nostalgia hits hard... Time splitters 2 was the first time where i experienced zombies in a FPS enviorment and i was hoocked, me and my best friend played it over over again

Oh man each timesplitters game has a special place in my heart. When i was 8 timesplitters 2 came out and i would play it at my friendshouse with rarchet and clank going commando and we had so much fun playing with all our friends inn4 player. So i went out and got timesplitters 1 and ratchet and clank 1 on sale at bestbuy. The mansion level in timesplitters 1 i could bsrely play it because the music scared me so bad id have to get my friend to help me bear it. Then when timesplitters w came out for xbox me and my dad got 2 xboxs so we could system link from 2 different bedrooms and we would play halo 2 and behead the undead together taking turns trying to rack up high scores between deathmatch games. Then future perfect came out and my friend robert was living with us for a few months and we would wake up every morning with snacks and cereal and sit on the edge of the bed and play timesplitters games all day. and make maps to trade with other people on xbox live where we would play as a team. TIME TO UNLEASH THE ASS KICKINATOR WAA WA WA WAAAA! oh man the nostalgia

While zombies are definitely cool, I'll always be a skeleton man myself. Undead Priest's design from 2 always stuck with me, and I was happy to have him again in FP.
That Notre Dame level gave me night terrors as a kid. I used to listen to country music on the radio as I was going to bed so ive come to associate country music with fear and zombies

Makes me really sad that they were trying to make a Timesplitters 4 and then the studio got axed. I was always amazed by my friends who love goldeneye yet don’t realize its spiritual successor.

Childhood game I remember me and my little brother playing this a lot when we were kids unfortunately he died four ago at 20 years old a month after his birthday I went in the army because it's a family tradition and it was also my dream but I'm out now but I did it for him because he knew It was also my dream along with many other dreams I have but playing the first time splitters game is just one of many games that made great memories I wish I could relive
I found the second game for $10 on gamecube as a kid and it blew my mind the amount of content. Map editor, so many game modes and unlockable characters. I would say I spent over 100 hours playing time splitters 2/3 virus mode with friends
