Imagine someone tuning in at the exact moment he fake swings and the announcer calls the homer. They would be like wtf is this.
When Morse had to go back to the batters box,he should have pointed to right field and called the shot! Would have been classic.
a grand slam without a bat, epic
That's definitely a home run. And wow the announcers, man. I couldn't stop laughing at this.
He should've air bunted lol
A homer he'll never forget.
the most memorable home run of his career lol
When my girlfriend, who is totally unfamiliar to baseball, first saw the National's uniform she asked me why they had the Walgreens logo on their uniform when the few other team's she'd seen prior had no sponsorship logos on theirs.
The announcers' reaction is priceless.
When he ran back to home and took that fake swing, I thought the pitch was low and outside. He should have waited for the next fake one.
I just love it when baseball becomes absurd formality
I love the fake swing he does before running the bases, LOL.
What a fine sense of humor of Mr. Morse with the backwards bases and new swing
This is so weirdly awesome, I totally love it! I especially love the return to the batter’s box, the swing with the air bat, and the home run call with no baseball in flight 😁
LOL at some comments. Air bunting and pointing to right field. That would be hilarious!
I thought it was pretty classy and cool that Morse went all the way back and swung at absolutely nothing and then ran all the bases following the Video Review
That's bullshit, I hit a ball right at that same sign but it was ruled a double in MLB 15 the show :/
This is the best baseball highlight I ever seen. And everytimer they say that cliche of "You never know what you will see. Just when you think you seen it all in baseball..blah blah blah." It makes no sense because all the years and all the baseball games you think We have seen everything. But man, that saying is true. So many times something new happens its ridiculous. I LOVE BASEBALL the way I love my dad and United States of America.
Even as a Cardinals fan, I found this to be quite comical
this is one of my favorite plays. just the circumstances and the announcers make it so great
