This is a time honored way for baseball to keep the fans awake.A good ole face to face argument...Ratings go up!Also a great way to get out of a game early...

What I noticed about all these ejections is that every time a player got ejected, their manager came out to defend them, and usually the managers got ejected right after the players did for sticking up for them. I don't really watch baseball but I thought that was really cool. You rarely see that in other sports.
Yep, Managers are very good about protecting their players. Even when the players are getting out of hand, they still try to get there before the player gets ejected and keep the peace. Sometimes they even take the ejection for their player so they can keep them in the game.
Great video! I watched every second of it. Can't wait to see the hit batters one next! Also if your looking for more ideas for new ones I would love to see one of the worst injuries in baseball. Just a thought. Once again, good job!
I love how whenever a batter gets ejected between pitches almost EVERY catcher has the same "damnit, we're doing this" sorta reaction as they come out of the crouch and walk away.
Great compilation...superb. Thanks for posting. Baseball is so fantastic...my 16 yr old son is a high level pitcher and is being heavily scouted. He has dealt with all types of strike zones and it can be tough. He always handles himself with class and I commend that.

Love the commentator from 30:35 keeps saying "umpire doesn't understand the game of baseball", so the game of baseball is pitching the ball 92 mph behind the batter I'm pretty sure that's not the game of baseball obviously this commentator doesn't know the game of baseball.

Got to agree with many of the comments - a whole lot of these are caused by crap umpires. The review system now should allow many of the blunders to be corrected - but not on balls and strikes. That's still covered solely by umpires competence or incompetence as the case maybe. A lot of these umps seem well into middle age and maybe a time limit should be imposed on them - maybe over 55 are retired from Major League? Thanks for the post - really enjoyed.
Hey folks 🙏 Cubs supported fan here 😅maaaan, Clint Eastwood was right about those sponsorship jackets, this homeolate umpire is currently being sponsored by Specsavers 🎉
The announcer at 31:00 is horrible too. Umpires make mistakes. For the announcer to go off on a personal tirade is unprofessional and clearly not impartial. He keeps whining about the ump being suspended and held accountable. Well, so should he. It's because of announcers like him that there is a disrespect for officials in all sports.
I don't see how they cant hear the announcers hes just obviously a homer and wants the home team to win but that whole call was a crock of shit and I don't blame him for going off on a tirade I would
theres a difference. youre a fan and he is representing an organization. As bad as a call may be, you can't act like a whiney child, especially on TV. It's just apathetic as far as I'm concerned
Why do umpires throw people out so quick? Is it to protect the umpires in case things escalate too quick? Just seems like they throw players out pretty quick.
the simple answer is that a lot of umps are really dumb. sometimes the pitcher throws at a batter to send a message, but sometimes the ump is just dumb. they also don't like being shown up, so they eject someone.
I've been around the game for many years but I've never understood why in an instant they just throw players out. lol I know I would have debated a lot of these calls.
***** yeah, me too. it really is that a lot of the umps need to be replaced, with better ones with more patience. on the other hand, it is not always the umps fault. sometimes players and managers get really angry because a call does not go their way.
I always thought Jim Joyce needed to be replaced after that Gallaraga call. Who knows though, he might have gotten better. But I agree with you on all counts.
Gotta love it... They're in the big boy leagues and they're supposed to be the best athletes in the country. If you can't refrain from hitting a batter, you don't need to be in the majors.
I love how buddy in the bottom left whipped out the camera when the Reds catcher got into it with the umpire. He's like "this gon be some juicy stuff".
30:36 I think I've seen clips of this announcer before. I really don't like him because he gets so pissy if something doesn't go the way he wants it to.
That is an out at 15:18 it should not have been reversed. Foot is firmly on the bag as the ball touches the glove. It's a force out so it doesn't matter that he falls off the base.
yesim18duh14 you are absolutely right. I'd like to add that the rule states that the ball is deemed in the glove when the ball touches the glove. It does not have to be fully in the webbing as some think I add that because I think the rule is interesting and fair
home plate umpires need a mic, it would be fun as a fan to hear the arguments.

I love the nose-to-nose with managers/umpires. Most entertaining part of the game.

How’d I know just from the comment it’d be Hawk Harrleson...
Lol for real I wasnt even mad at the umpire after hearing dude wine like that
Pikov Andropov and it’s come ya like this that I click. Read more
Why do umpires throw people out so quick?
***** there are so many umps that need to be replaced. Jim Joyce, angel Hernandez, laz Diaz, the list goes on and on.
This is like the 5000th time I’m watching this
30:36 I think I've seen clips of this announcer before. I really don't like him because he gets so pissy if something doesn't go the way he wants it to.
from chicago, no surprise there
Joseph Chiappetta it's rather absurd how he acts like he's baseball's know it all.
Teddy Catnip
thats how people from chicago are, or in fact a lot of people out there
I'm pretty sure the White Sox try to hire bad announcers. They have a long history of 'em.
He had money on the game and since the pitcher didn't pitch atleast 5 innings the bet is nullified.
The white sox commentator.......
He's the worst in the league
Hawk is awesome, he isn't the best but he sure ain't the worst
Kevin Garvey will admit the Jays announcers are bad. But they're not obnoxious
Kevin Garvey how is he awesome? I really want to know now
Biggest homer piece of trash....Hawk
That SF VS WSH at 131:30, is a repeat.:) Excellent video, btw.
You did one hell of a job showing how blind the MLB umps are!
1. Set the video speed to double.
2. Mute the volume.
3. Play Benny Hill music in another tab.
You're welcome.
HEY BOB, PISS YOUR PANTS!
marcmarc1967 no
Yes
Lackey getting ejected at 9:42 was absolute bullshit. What starting pitcher is going to open the game with two straight attempts at hitting someone?
He did. I saw that game
Professional pitchers don't miss that badly twice in a row
Tyler Except they do.
***** No. You don't miss with a 2 seam *behind* the batter and then hit them with a 4 seam in the ribs. If you do, you deserve to be in the minors
Tyler Strasburg loses control that badly all the time. Aroldis Chapman used to do the same thing. And those are the more notable ones...
That is an out at 15:18 it should not have been reversed. Foot is firmly on the bag as the ball touches the glove. It's a force out so it doesn't matter that he falls off the base.
+yesim18duh14 Agreed. He was out.
yesim18duh14 you are absolutely right. I'd like to add that the rule states that the ball is deemed in the glove when the ball touches the glove. It does not have to be fully in the webbing as some think
I add that because I think the rule is interesting and fair
I READ MLB EJACULATIONS DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND THAT VIDEO THANKS MUAH
