I just got my dogs ashes today. I'm gonna miss her. I don't care about people much but that dog meant so much to me and I told her that before she passed.
My dog just passed today, She was a sprollie she was beautiful.. I don’t know how I’m going to go on without her. I keep seeing hallucinations of her or clumps of her fur flying through the air I don’t know if I’m going crazy with grief or she’s trying to let me know she’s at peace. My heart is ripped in 2
My Dog Nolo died in my arms on Thursday Feb18 2021. He passed away very quick, and did not suffer agony pain. I had him cremated and I am awaiting his ashes. This is giving me something to look forward to. Thank you for sharing your experience. I miss him dearly, but I know he is not in pain and is re-united with his mommy. I am still at times shocked that he is gone. But time will heal. OM SHANTI.
Lost our Gracie last Monday, picking up her ashes tomorrow, so devastated ,cannot accept that she's really gone,so blessed to have known and loved her, we love you forever sweet baby, rest in peace sweet girl, until we are together again ❤
I just received my babies ashes. He was 14 years 4 months. It was so unexpected and I think that’s why it hurt so much. But on the other hand, he didn’t suffer and he died in my wife’s arms. So he knew he was safe and loved up to the very end. Thank you for posting this.

That is a beautiful set. I took my Charlie to the vet this morning to have him cremated. The company they deal with provides a certicate and a paw print too. He'll be back home with me in about a week. He died yesterday and it destroyed me. I kept his body overnight and he spent it on his bed in front of mine as usual. I slept very little and kept looking at him and touching his sweet face. I cry often . This dog is the best friend Ive ever had.
my cat who was my ABSOLUTE best friend, bruno, passed at the vet’s december 5 2020 so i didn’t even really get to say my goodbyes since he passed away on his own overnight, and i wasn’t even told he was probably not going to make it 💔. my vet does the cremations there and it’s a very small clinic and they’re all done individually for the owners sake so it takes awhile to get their remains back and so far it’s been about 4 or 5 weeks now, but they don’t even have a specific date so this suspense is literally killing me 💔 rip bruno also the saying that kept popping up in this video “if love could have saved you, you would have lived forever” is what i want on his urn as well because that’s all i could think of when my mom broke the news to me and i think it really just speaks volumes i’m sorry about your cat charlie and dog luke

I got the rainbow bridge letter my babies paw prints and nose print, seeds to plant for his memorial, his urn with a pic of him I couldn’t do the hair clippings part it was too much for me to handle but I got a little necklace with his ashes in it. My vet works with final gift they did such a good job
Awww so beautiful, I'm so glad you got all those things. I wanted to take fur trimmings before he passed but it just felt weird but the fact that they did that was a beautiful surprise... I LOVE that they gave you a nose print. That's so sweet. 💗💕
We Lost my cat about 2 years ago because we had to put him down. He had a stroke Late at night and went blind that night. He woke up the next morning and couldn’t eat or drink. We made the decision to put him down. I was 12 and I went to the vet with my mom and held my cats paw as they put him under anesthesia. He fell asleep with his eyes open and I felt his muscles relax. It was heartbreaking as they but the final shot in that stopped his heart. I cried so much and looked up at the vet as he put the stethoscope to my cats heart and nodded to signifi he had passed. In that moment I felt every muscle in my body give out and I nearly fell to the floor. I had a panic attack and I looked at my cat, dead on the table, and I wondered if I would ever see him again. We had him for 4 years and then that happened. I’m now 14 and still cry about him. I made a memorial for him by a tree at our house and because he died Dec 20th on Christmas I went out to his memorial at 10 pm in 20 degree weather and I read “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas” I wasn’t sure he could hear me but I prayed that wherever he is he is happy and safe. I loved him so much and still do.
Machaela, I unfortunately know first hand how devastating in heart breaking that is. I wouldn't wish that pain on my worst enemy and I'm so sorry you and your sweet kitty had to go through that. It is true what they say though...the only good thing that comes out of the situation is that he is no longer in any pain. I think it's very sweet you read to him. I'm sure he's watching you from Heaven ♥️ keep your chin up sweetheart and find comfort in the fact that at least his short life was filled with so much love🙏🕊️♥️
My 16 yrs old jack russell dog in heaven this Tuesday she was struggling to breath lungs was filled with blood heavy breathing cannot walk without fallin over doesn't eat anything just stays in bed the vet told me she has days to live before she dies from a heart attack..I feel empty atm the most heartbreaking is she is a big fighter at the end before we took her to the emergency vets at 2am she went out to the garden to do her dutes ended up collapsing upside down in the heavy rain went out and took her in to say our last goodbye with the family... At 3am after the vet visit she gone we put her down.... This is my first dog had plenty happy memories with her....

I thought it was beautiful that even after you shared such a painful story you ended it with mentioning the good memories you have of her. That is the best thing to do. I just lost my puppy today his name was lucious but I called him little guy a lot as a nickname .... he died of roundworms it started three days before he started vomiting and his stool was very liquidy with roundworms in them so the next day I used a 7 way dewormer and the day after that he wasn’t looking well at all then the next following day I was going to take him to the Vet to get looked at after work but while I was at work my wife told me he had stopped breathing I rushed home right away and came to a sad sight I loved him so much .... but he’s in a better place now with God .... I hope my cremation results are good I’m going to go spread his ashes somewhere peaceful .. and I hope you have healed from your experience...

I lost my cat to kidney failure six days ago and I cried for three days over her. She was a great companion. I rescued her from the local animal shelter and kept her for almost five years. I’m still devastated over her death. My other cat is holding up better than me. She and my dog miss her. I have yet to receive her ashes.
It’s just as bad as saying goodbye the first time. We have gotten paw prints embedded in clay with bits of fur still embedded in the clay. Even more poignant. Her ashes were given back to us in cedar boxes with a little lock and key. One cat was returned to me in a small metal tin.
This is the most awful thing to go through I'm so sorry for your loss. My doggo passed on 18th march 2021 so last week. I havent gotten his ashes back but the pain is so immense. 😔

I just went though this 2 weeks ago with my daughters dog. She was a 4 year old pitbull but she was struggling with skin issues. We have been trying to get it under control for sometime but nothing was helping. Putting her to sleep was the hardest thing we’ve all had to do. My daughter just got her urn and ashes back today. On the plaque it reads her name which was Doey And says “perfectly imperfect”. I’ve been crying often on for the last two weeks. Even though she was technically my daughters dog she was my baby girl too. My heart is broken
My dog was a Labrador he passed 46 days ago and I’m still concerned about the amount of ashes i got. Is like 150 g and I don’t know if they are his ashes actually. I think is too little. I was watching your video to see the ashes of your dog. Besides that is so nice to get the print of his paw and his hair. I didn’t get it. 😢
Maria, I'm so very sorry to hear about your puppy. Try not to worry about the amount of ashes. I worked in the medical field for over a decade so I don't want to get too technical but there's a lot less amount of ashes versus the size of our loved ones and beloved pets. I just had another dog that passed away about 6 months ago and he was 120 lb and it's pretty much the same thing. Try not to focus on those things that'll make him passing harder on you. I know not everybody does footprints... I didn't get them with any of my other pets either before Luke. (that's shown in this video). And I've never had anyone else give me hair clippings. My other pets that are passed away I've kept their name tags and their collars if I don't have anything else. The best thing to do is just try to find a positive outlet for you when you're having a hard time when you're feeling sad or upset and over time your first thought of him will be love and happiness over good and funny memories and not sadness and loss. I'm sending you all my love and prayers. And again I'm very sorry for your loss of your sweet fella❤️🥺

Sorry to hear this. It's been almost 2 years since Luke passed and we still miss him. I like to say the pain never goes away but time does cushion the intensity. I am so sorry 💔

My cat passed away almost a month ago from old age. I got his ashes back. The urn is very beautiful. It was not the same going to pick up the ashes from the vet comparing picking up a cat that was just in for some reason and now healthy enough to come home. I did breakdown when I got it.

I'm sorry for your loss 💔 Idk how old you are but in case you're a kiddo... It depends on the place that is taking care of your puppy. But they will treat him with care and get his body ready. They have a machine that like at the doctors office when a person passes away will change his body to ashes. Remember he's already in doggy heaven so it doesn't hurt him or anything. He's not in anymore pain after he passed away. Then they will take his ashes and put them in..what is called a "urn" which is just something that holds his ashes. Then they will give you the urn with his ashes inside.

@@juliaruggiero9055 it was very difficult because I had never experienced the loss of a dog before and I had just lost my first cat a few months prior. Having to still be there for my other dog I think help me not slip too far into my sadness. I cried alot and the loss I felt was deep. February 14th was the 1year anniversary this year. For Luke we knew what he had was not going to get better so he had a slow but steady decline so I think we were able to start processing it vs a sudden loss like my cat was. Idk I think the best thing you can do (like with any loss or broken heart) is allow yourself to grieve and feel those emotions because that is healthy but don't let yourself stay in the 'darkness' for too long. Feel it and release it. Do things for yourself that are positive. That make you feel good. Things that are healthy and possibly productive. You'll still grieve and feel that pain...sometimes at the weirdest times and that's ok. The love and connection you felt, had and still feel were real and that's a beautiful thing no matter if that was felt between another person or an animal. Sending you nothing but good positive vibes🌈🌄🙏💛

Still not "recovered" but I will say time does ease the pain. I don't think about him every second of the day like I did when he first passed away. There will be days where something reminds me of him or I'll get a photo reminder with his photo. But instead of being overwhelmed from the pain of losing him happy memories of him and goofy things he did are usually the first things that come to my mind. I hope that makes sense...
I put down my cat 3 weeks ago today. We were supposed to get her ashes back but the crematory had a break in and we lost her hair sample. We will never know if her ashes are really hers. It feels like we lost her twice.
Oh my god! That is the craziest thing I've ever heard! Who would break into a pet crematorium?! To be honest with you even though that didn't happen to me in the back of my mind those thoughts had occured to me wondering if the ashes were really his or not. But, what you have to remember is that the body is/was just a vessel and that your cats personality and spirit (the parts of her life you got to experience) is the part that was *really* her. Try to take comfort in the memories, good time and love you shared with her while she was still alive until those blanket the painful memories of her death and what happened after she passed away. I am sending you all my love to her, you and mending your broken heart ❤
@@ShannonL7 Tysm we got the ashes and her paw print back today. I am 100 percent sure the ashes are hers now. We also believe that they didn’t even steal anything when they broke in and it was just being cruel.
I am a 13 yo and she has been around since the day I was born which makes it a little harder but since those 3 weeks ago today I feel better knowing she is in a better place.

You're very brave to have been there with him. I know in my heart you being by his side made it easier for him because veterinary visits can be intimidating for animals so with you by his side I bet made a world of difference for him even though I know it was heartbreaking for you❤️ Each day gets a little more tolerable and you can look bad and think of Max and smile and be happy remembering him instead of being sad first. I just lost my puppy today his name was lucious but I called him little guy a lot as a nickname .... he died of roundworms it started three days before he started vomiting and his stool was very liquidy with roundworms in them so the next day I used a 7 way dewormer and the day after that he wasn’t looking well at all then the next following day I was going to take him to the Vet to get looked at after work but while I was at work my wife told me he had stopped breathing I rushed home right away and came to a sad sight I loved him so much .... but he’s in a better place now with God .... I hope my cremation results are good I’m going to go spread his ashes somewhere peaceful .. and I hope you have healed from your experience...

I lost my cat to kidney failure six days ago and I cried for three days over her. She was a great companion. I rescued her from the local animal shelter and kept her for almost five years. I’m still devastated over her death. My other cat is holding up better than me. She and my dog miss her. I have yet to receive her ashes.

It’s just as bad as saying goodbye the first time. We have gotten paw prints embedded in clay with bits of fur still embedded in the clay. Even more poignant. Her ashes were given back to us in cedar boxes with a little lock and key. One cat was returned to me in a small metal tin.

I just went though this 2 weeks ago with my daughters dog. She was a 4 year old pitbull but she was struggling with skin issues. We have been trying to get it under control for sometime but nothing was helping. Putting her to sleep was the hardest thing we’ve all had to do. My daughter just got her urn and ashes back today. On the plaque it reads her name which was Doey And says “perfectly imperfect”. I’ve been crying often on for the last two weeks. Even though she was technically my daughters dog she was my baby girl too. My heart is broken

My dog was a Labrador he passed 46 days ago and I’m still concerned about the amount of ashes i got. Is like 150 g and I don’t know if they are his ashes actually. I think is too little. I was watching your video to see the ashes of your dog. Besides that is so nice to get the print of his paw and his hair. I didn’t get it. 😢

I'm so very sorry to hear about your puppy.
Try not to worry about the amount of ashes. I worked in the medical field for over a decade so I don't want to get too technical but there's a lot less amount of ashes versus the size of our loved ones and beloved pets.
I just had another dog that passed away about 6 months ago and he was 120 lb and it's pretty much the same thing.
Try not to focus on those things that'll make him passing harder on you.
I know not everybody does footprints... I didn't get them with any of my other pets either before Luke.
(that's shown in this video).
And I've never had anyone else give me hair clippings.
My other pets that are passed away I've kept their name tags and their collars if I don't have anything else.
The best thing to do is just try to find a positive outlet for you when you're having a hard time when you're feeling sad or upset and over time your first thought of him will be love and happiness over good and funny memories and not sadness and loss.

My cat passed away almost a month ago from old age. I got his ashes back. The urn is very beautiful. It was not the same going to pick up the ashes from the vet comparing picking up a cat that was just in for some reason and now healthy enough to come home. I did breakdown when I got it.

Idk how old you are but in case you're a kiddo...
It depends on the place that is taking care of your puppy.
But they will treat him with care and get his body ready. They have a machine that like at the doctors office when a person passes away will change his body to ashes. Remember he's already in doggy heaven so it doesn't hurt him or anything. He's not in anymore pain after he passed away. Then they will take his ashes and put them in..what is called a "urn" which is just something that holds his ashes. Then they will give you the urn with his ashes inside.

@@juliaruggiero9055 it was very difficult because I had never experienced the loss of a dog before and I had just lost my first cat a few months prior.
Having to still be there for my other dog I think help me not slip too far into my sadness.
I cried alot and the loss I felt was deep. February 14th was the 1year anniversary this year.
For Luke we knew what he had was not going to get better so he had a slow but steady decline so I think we were able to start processing it vs a sudden loss like my cat was.
Idk I think the best thing you can do (like with any loss or broken heart) is allow yourself to grieve and feel those emotions because that is healthy but don't let yourself stay in the 'darkness' for too long.
Feel it and release it.
Do things for yourself that are positive. That make you feel good. Things that are healthy and possibly productive.
You'll still grieve and feel that pain...sometimes at the weirdest times and that's ok.
The love and connection you felt, had and still feel were real and that's a beautiful thing no matter if that was felt between another person or an animal.

Still not "recovered" but I will say time does ease the pain.
I don't think about him every second of the day like I did when he first passed away.
There will be days where something reminds me of him or I'll get a photo reminder with his photo.
But instead of being overwhelmed from the pain of losing him happy memories of him and goofy things he did are usually the first things that come to my mind.
I hope that makes sense...

I put down my cat 3 weeks ago today. We were supposed to get her ashes back but the crematory had a break in and we lost her hair sample. We will never know if her ashes are really hers. It feels like we lost her twice.

To be honest with you even though that didn't happen to me in the back of my mind those thoughts had occured to me wondering if the ashes were really his or not. But, what you have to remember is that the body is/was just a vessel and that your cats personality and spirit (the parts of her life you got to experience) is the part that was *really* her. Try to take comfort in the memories, good time and love you shared with her while she was still alive until those blanket the painful memories of her death and what happened after she passed away. I am sending you all my love to her, you and mending your broken heart ❤
@@ShannonL7 Tysm we got the ashes and her paw print back today. I am 100 percent sure the ashes are hers now. We also believe that they didn’t even steal anything when they broke in and it was just being cruel.
