My dog was my best friend, he unfortunately died a few days ago on Easter due to unnatural causes. I’ve been feeling so guilty because I’ve been away at school for months and haven’t been able to see him regularly…I just hope he knows how much I loved him because he never failed to show how much he loved me 💔

@@sweetheartxd9457 Ok, listen to me right now, I feel the same guilt about my guinea pig and his passing, but I was lucky enough to be there the night he passed. I had no idea, I was just going in to check on him a bit early, and found him acting abnormally, I got lucky, and I'm so glad me and my whole family was there for him in his last moments. But It's s not like you knew this would happen, and it's not like you had much of a choice. I doubt you left to go to class because you wanted to be away from her. If she understood why you left, sure she would have missed you still, but she would realize that you were doing what you needed to. The fact that you feel guilty shows that you care. I think she knew that you cared for her, that she was loved even when she couldn't be with you. Remember that. She wasn't with you for long....but I'm sure when you were there, you made her feel loved, and that's all any animal could ask for!

But think like this, animals are way better than us in forgiving and understanding, that is their magical talent, and im sure your baby knows that you love him and he loves you too. unconditionally. Same my dog died yesterday and I'm also away for college, but I always go home every weekends or any chance that I can. I'm not ready to go home yet because my heat broke whenever I imagine going home and not seeing him. A car ran over my cat while I was at school today. I was already having a bad day and it just broke me down when I got the news. I can’t live with the fact that I won’t be able to call her name when I get home ever again. Now I have to go to school and just get over it for the sake of passing my classes. every day for 2 years my cat would greet me after i got home from work, and yesterday i got home and she wasn’t there. i was a bit worried but i figured she was out wandering around, after 2 hours of being home my sister told me she came with bad news and instantly my stomach dropped and all i could think about was my cute soft paws, and i was filled with dread, she takes me to my cat and she had passed away, even though i was looking at my cat, it didn’t feel real, the cat i had cuddled with in cold nights and had fun teasing, was now gone and i could never ever talk to her again and she will never be there to greet me after work again, i will never hear her voice ask for food. or her meow of when she wants to be let in. i’m so sad i don’t know what to do, i was in a daze all day today at work thinking about her, and for the first time in 2 years (since the time she was a little kitten) she wasn’t there waiting for me when i got home from work, i felt alone, and depressed. yesterday i buried her, it was the hardest thing i have ever done, i loved her like a daughter, and for most of the time i was crying and saying my goodbyes, i kept touching her fur since i would never be able to again. i didn’t want to bury her, but i wanted to give her the respect she deserves, it was so hard, i still can’t believe she’s gone, i feel like she might just be waiting on the other side of the door waiting for me to open it for her to come in and start asking for food. i can’t believe it and i don’t want to believe it, she was my daughter.

My son, Growler, died three days ago when I had to put him down. He was my closest friend and I miss him so much. There are no words to describe the pain and only one comes close: hell. My cat,Mama cat died after getting a lump on her chest which made her breathing harder and harder each day.She was brown and her fur was smooth and silky.The vets had to euthanize her so she wouldn't be painful.During the shot she was screaming and then afterwards,she was looking at me very lovingly and passed away peacefully. Our pup of nearly 17 years just passed away yesterday. He walked over to us and appeared to nap in the company of us, but it turned out he just stopped breathing. Our family cat passed away yesterday of old age. We feel terrible, like we weren't able do enough. He was waiting for us under the bed. My dad called me to take him out. I managed to do so, but after meowing twice, he stopped breathing. I had known him since I was born. The house feels really empty without him. 10 whole years of love and joy ended here. But I know that he is in heaven. His friendly attitude and spirit still lives in the house. I hope he will visit us soon. I love you Kitty. Let God bless you.
My cat got ran over by car yesterday, seeing her little body lying there broke my heart, I wish I could turn back time and save her. Her and I were really close, she followed me everywhere, now I feel empty and alone. I still have my other cat but she wasn’t as attached to me as that cat, I love the two of them so much, I never expected something like this could happen to me. She was such a beautiful, happy and smart cat, never hurt anyone, I hope she’s happy wherever she is and I hope I can meet her again one day
My dog passed away yesterday. She’d been ill for a few weeks already and I kind of saw it coming, but I don’t think I was prepared for the actual pain of her death. I just hope that wherever she is, she knows how much I love her 🥺🖤

My dachshund passed away suddenly from congested heart failure a week ago. Her sister passed away a few months prior. Once her sister passed, she barely would eat and no longer wanted to do things she used to. I truly believe she died of a broken heart because 6 months ago the vet said her heart was strong with no issues. Rest in Peace my sweet Winnie. Mommy loves you 💗
My 15 year old shihtzu was put to sleep today (01/06/2023) and tonight (first night), i feel like my soul has been ripped apart. I lost my dog on 13/05/2024. She was 3 years old. Both my dogs(male and female) had loss of appetite. Diagnosed with Tick fever. The female puppy couldn’t make it. To me, pets are not just pets, they're family members. My 2 doggies passed away, a father one passed away on second day of Lunar New Year (few years ago) and a child one passed away before Lunar New Year in this year. A father was sick and for some reasons a child one...😞. I still miss them, cry everytime they show up in my mind, hope if heaven is real, they 2 are happy there, and to Lucky and Shorty, a mother one - Cream is ok, she misses you really much, poor girl. My Princy left me on 12th September. She was like ur kitty. White furr mixed Persian ,round eyes,very bubble. She was only 5months. When she got viral infection, she was sad but cooperating wit the treatment. She wanted to live but couldn't make it. Died infront of me on hospital bed. I don't have any other cat but i lost a precious gem. Don't know how to overcome this. It's too hard for me .
My cat died on September 5th. I’ll definitely try to spend more time with future cats. Her kidneys suddenly failed and she didn’t show any signs she was dying or even slowing down except for her last two days. She was about 14+ but acted young. I didn’t expect it to be so sudden I wish I would have held her more. I know for a fact pets go to heaven though if they bring you happiness. When I was putting my cat down I was annoyed because I couldn’t get the song amazing grace out of my head. Guess what the opening song that day in church was? Amazing grace. Also the readings were about the lost sheep (I haven’t believed in god for a while) Heaven would be boring without animals. There is no way there aren’t animals. I prayed for a sign she was in heaven and got one. Sorry I don’t mean to sound too pushy I just wanted to share

My dog of 15 years is getting put down later today. She is older than I am and I’ve been with her ever since I was born. My Cat also unexpectedly died at the age of 13 on Tuesday (18/10/2022). The cause of that was his Osteoporose, which we didn't notice until he jumped of the bed and landed bad. The Osteoporose then blocked the nerves in his spinal cord, which made him unable to move his lower body, hold in his pee, etc. Because of that he also has gotten bad blood circulation, which can lead to heart failure. (This happend on Monday(17/10/2022) at 11PM) We went with him to the Emergency Vet, where they wanted to put him down. My Mother disagreed as she wanted to get a 2nd Opinion at our Vet, which we wanted to go to on Tuesday Morning. (at around 10AM) He sadly passed away on Tuesday at around 3-5AM on our couch because his Heart stopped beating while he was asleep, which the Vet said can happen. We have noticed his death when we woke up and wanted to check how Lucky is doing. (Lucky is the Name of my Cat) We buried him at his favourite sleeping spot in our garden. May he rest in peace
My little sweet dog of 3 years old died this morning. She smiled at me calmly before passing away. I feel so empty inside. I hope she knew how much I loved her. Tomorrow I will go bury her in the woods with flowers because I am too poor to have her diagnose for cause of death. Maybe soon I will adopt another dog after, I feel like it can be my 2nd chance…and also in order to fill my empty heart once again.

I just lost my ginger buddy. He was really big and really fluffy! He lived for a long time. We pretty much lived to the same age (I’m a year or two older than him) so I really did just lose someone I’ve been with my entire life. He survived so much including many fights and getting hit by a car. On the last day that I saw him, he stayed with me and I just sat and talked to him. I gave him cuddles and he meowed back in response to me. I vividly remember the first time I met him. He was a kitten, but not too young. I remember seeing this ginger little guy sat looking up at me. Toddler me bent down to him and we just locked eyes. Since then, I’ve loved him so much. His death was quite unexpected, so I was so shocked. I’m currently bawling my eyes out because it’s just so sad that I’ll never be able to give him a hug again.

My cat, Mini, died today due to a snake bite. I didn't know what to do since there was no pet hospital open at that time. I hoped to take her in the morning, but when I woke up, my mother was crying beside Mini. My mother loved her as much as her own child she named her as mini because she is small in size . We miss her so much. 😞
My chihuahua, Pipsqueak, died in my arms today after 13 1/2 wonderful years. She was showing signs of age for awhile but seemed to have a lot of life left in her until yesterday. She went downhill quickly and had a stroke mid-afternoon. I’m devastated but so thankful she wasn’t in pain for long. This hurts so much.

Just lost my cat. We’ve been together since I was just 0 years old. Every time I would feel down I’d see her and she’d fix all my problems and just brighten my day. my 3 year old husky had to be put down yesterday after getting hit by a car the day before. her brain injuries were too severe to save her. she bolted out the door because she wanted to play outside, her life was cut so short. she was so good for a husky, so gentle and she never barked. i just feel so sad, especially since we still have our goldendoodle, her best friend, he now has nobody to play with. im only finding comfort in the fact that my last memory with her was playing at the dog park the morning before the accident. she was so happy and loved
My beloved dog just died yesterday. I can't express how much painful how it feels.😭 I feel depressed because he's been my companion for more than 8 years. He's very loving, and he's always there for you when you're sad by coming to you and wagging his tail to you, his presence alone lights up the room, and he guards our home like it's his own. 😞 I watched videos on coping because it's really unbearable, I always cry whenever I remember him or his thoughts came to mind. I felt guilty because I was not able to bring him to the veterinary, thinking it's just a simple cough and diarrhea. Just woke up he's slumped on the floor lifeless with eyes still open.😭 videos like this makes me understand and lessen the pain a bit BUT I don't know I still cry every moment because I can no longer feel his presence. When my cat Snare passed away I didn't feel ok from December 25th to early January. When I wasn't crying I was either on my computer, asleep due to crying, or going out to just hug my family. I had Snare for 12 years, had him since he was only 2 years old he was 14 years old and losing him the day before Christmas hurt like heck! I still remember the day I had to make one of the hardest calls I had to ever make. Snare was losing weight, his ribs were showing and I knew just how fast an old cat can go down hill cause my sister's cat Zephyr. I didn't want that to happen to Snare, I made him a promise that I would do everything in my power to make sure that he had a better life then he would have had with his other owner, his other owner wasn't nice to him. It was no one else's call but mine. My other family members, like Aunts, Uncles, and Cousin knew I loved him. One of my cousins as soon as she got the text from my older sister telling everyone what happened actually went out to Walmart to find something for me. She ended up getting me a grey and white cat plushie, it looked almost like Snare. I ended up naming him Snare Plushie. It's been 2 years since his passing and I still don't remember what all I did besides crying, sleeping, crying into family, and playing on my computer. One thing I do 100% remember is a dream that I had of him in January. I just kept asking God to make sure that he was ok and he answered it. I was in my mom's computer room playing on the computer, I didn't have one of my own at the time, when I felt something furry touch my feet. I looked down and there he was. Snare looking up at me looking as young and healthy as I remembered. His light green eyes shining as brightly as ever. I just smiled, scratched his left cheek and watched as he closed his eyes, leaned into my hand, a smile appearing on his face as he began to purr.

I lost my Bernese Bear at nearly age of 8 in August. It was very sudden and within a few days he was gone. Fast forward to yesterday Dec 9, My Golden Retriever Beemer suddenly lost all function of his legs and was whimpering in pain in the morning and by afternoon he was gone. The vet diagnosed him with meningitis at age 8. Thank you for making videos like these.

My precious cat passed away at October 6, 2023 at age 18. She was having difficulty getting up on her feet and trouble breathing. The moment I saw her behavior, I took her to the vet immediately. The doctor informed us she had respiratory distress, fluid in her lungs, dehydration. Then, my fear came true, and it was a very hard decision for me to choose. It was very painful to see my cat go. When she ut to sleep, I haven't cried this hard since high school. For the past 17 years, she was like a daughter to me and we took care of her very much in great health! The last thing I wanna do for my cat is to cut off her thick fur ball for free, which is very pricey these days, so I took my time cutting off her fur before taking her to the vet. Kiki 💔 2006-2023

lost my cat yesterday morning, who had a seizure/cardiac arrest right in front of me. it was the hardest thing i’ve ever seen and comprehended and i didn’t even want to believe it. i feel so empty without him because that cat was my everything and now he’s gone and it feels so empty without him. we put him in a cardboard box, decorated it and buried him. we also put beautiful flowers where he was buried. couldn’t go an hour today and yesterday without crying.
My 9 month old puppy passed away on Sunday (November 19). I was absolutely heartbroken and devastated. I had let her out to go potty and wasn’t watching. She was missing for 4 hours and we found her body in the forest. We had to bury her and I was in tears because she had only been a baby. I might go to the doctor and get checked out, I still have the images replay in my head and constantly cry from time to time, it was my fault. ❤
Nobody would wish that to happen. I understand. I lost my boy, too. I know you feel guilty for not doing something but it is what it is no matter what. Their time is borrowed and we have to give it back. Just be happy that s/he let you be a part of their lives. Eventhough we know deep down we will miss them everyday.
My beautiful angel is going to sleep today. He was always the one who used to follow me around everywhere, my little pal. My whole family is devastated by the news. He wasn’t even meant to be part of the family, we were only going to look after him for a few days until he could be rehomed but he won all our hearts with his kind nature. I’ve lost pets in the past and it doesn’t get any easier but it does make me feel better to know I did the utmost best I could to make them feel loved and safe while under my care. I have hope I’ll see them again someday, so it’s not really goodbye. Nothing lives forever and I truly appreciate life thanks to my pets and all the responsibility that came with it has made me a much better person. So don’t grieve for what has to happen to us all one day but be happy they were part of your life for a time. If our pets could talk, I’m sure they’d say thank you from the bottom of their hearts for every ounce of time and love you shared together. ❤
There was this cat that lived at my grandmas house not too long ago, I created a special bond with her and ended up calling her Athena. I prepared myself telling myself everyday that I could and would lose her any day now. A few months back she went missing and I’ve no lost hope in ever finding her. I still sit outside my grandmas house hoping that one day she’ll somehow come back. This video and the comments brought me a tiny bit of comfort knowing I’m not the only one going through this.
My guinea pig died on the way to the vet today. People always call me pathetic for grieving a guinea pig, they did with my first one too. Now I can't talk to anyone about it either. I just miss him so much.

Tomorrow we're welcoming in a new kitten and on Friday a brand new puppy. I lost my Brownie 8 days ago and until now I am still crying. My husband doesn't like it .He said we have 8 dogs at home why are you crying for Brownie. Brownie has kept me company in the office. Just lost a cat that's been with us for 17 years. Now for the first time in close to 22 years, we're without a pet and the house feels so empty now. I'm struggling pretty hard right now because I was too weak to be there for the euthanasia. I couldn't even bear the weight of bringing him home to be buried... I just feel so damn empty now that he's gone and I couldn't even be strong enough to be there with him.
My pet chicken died today, this helped alot thank you, especially how people don't care much for chickens and just told me "its only a chicken" but she was smarter than my dog, could do tricks and was potty trained, i miss her
I Iost my childhood dog 4 weeks ago on Christmas Eve, even though dogs are now widely accepted to be considered family, I still got the "it's just a dog" treatment. The people didn't say that directly but we were told by a handful of people to just bury her in the yard and get it over with, rather than spending money to get her cremated which is what we wanted (and did do) so we can bring her with us if/when we move houses.
I really sympathize with you this past summer I lost my 2 year old chicken Henrietta that I had since she hatched and it just really hurt because that day I knew something was wrong and that she wasn’t going to make it so I just held her for hours until she passed away.

We have it also in a display box so that it doesn’t get dust on it throughout the years. Maybe that’s something you can do for Juliet’s shrine too :) also thinking about shadow boxing my dog’s collar and cremation certificate etc
My cat, who was 20 years old, died today, just around an hour ago. She was with me for literally my entire life, and was the mamma cat of the house. my pet dog died from a sickness. My dad was so happy when we bought him. He always wanted a dog... but my dog got sick and we couldnt help him. We did everything, but right before the blood tranfusion my dog died. I had him only for a month, but i loved him very much. He was a golden retriver, a puppy. He was in so much pain when he died. I hope he is in a better place now RIP my friend. You will always be in my heart.
Hello. I lost my 4-month old golden retriever pup to Distemper. I had to put him to sleep. I wished I could have done more to save him. I had him only for a month too but it was so painful, like a massive hole has been left on my heart. I may not know you but I stand with you as you grieve and process your puppy’s death. I am sure one day we will be reunited with them at the rainbow bridge.
i know he died 2 years ago, but i haven't been able to vent and say most about it. i was young and stupid when i got him as a child. my other pet had died, but i got another (later i realize i shouldn't've) and he was the only one in that small jail of a cage at the pet store. standing there, looking at me sadly, i felt bad. i adopted him. i loved him. he was such a highlight of my life and he was such a good thing. i always greeted him as i came from school. he was always happy to see me. he never had a cagemate. i was so stupid to believe my own company was enough for him. i was so fucking selfish. why. why did i ever let him suffer like that? i just let him deal with loneliness his entire life and probably depression, and yet i thought it was fine. im so mad at myself still. he lived for about 5 years with some trouble here and there but he was such a great guinea pig. one day i came to see what he was doing. i thought he was sleeping, and i wanted to hold him. i took his igloo and greeted him... and... and he was dead. limp. cold. that was my life check. in the pandemic. already feeling bad. just... the recollection of all my terrible actions... i never gave him enough of anything. i never gave him enough attention. i never let him get out enough. what did i not do? panda, if you can still read this. i'm so sorry for the shit i've done. i really took you for granted, like a doll that i can just pick up without any other interaction or anything else and play with you, and just leave you. i just let you suffer... suffer. ALL I HAVE FELT SINCE THAT 2 YEARS AGO IS DEPRESSION... HOW DID YOU ALWAYS FIND THE POWER TO SMILE AND BE HAPPY WHEN I CAN'T?? YOUR ENTIRE LIFE??
The fact that he was looking at you sadly in the pet shop, but then always happy when you had him means you did something right. Sounds like he got the power to smile from you and your love.

Just today a bird I was taking care of has passed away. I know that he is happier in heaven but it is still hard for me to let go. I just found him yesterday and I also feel guilty that I didn’t give him much attention in his short life. Right after we buried him, we got the sign from heaven of the white butterfly. My shiny died yesterday ,she was a street dog not our pet but she used to more than often stay at our home ,she used to make me feel loved and make my presence matters. I can't help but remember every now and then the moment she died, she was crying, then shaking on the floor and then she was no more in just a few seconds and on that day just a few minutes ago she was all happy and playing and fiddling here and there and the next moment she left the world.... She was just a three year old . People around me including my family are telling me that she was not ours to begin with, she did not love us, she was just a stray (my mom even scolded me saying that what kind of worthless daughter she gavd birth to ,who is crying over a dog who did not loved her) but for me she was my everything, it was me who used to wake countless time at night to see if she is ok, it was me who used to go with her at 2 am wherever she wanted to go ,it was me who used to feel the pain if anyone even as much as sweared to her, she was like a daughter to me.... I don't have pets but other street dogs who used to come at home... But after she is gone so abruptly i don't feel anything, not eaten anything in these 2 days ,does not want to do anything... I just want to go to her, please someone take me to her ,how will she live alone ,i want to know how is my shiny... Please someone take me to her... I want to hold her... Just once.. Ps. I knew for 2 ½ years but that doesn't matter, she is my heartbeat, i don't feel like breathing now that's she is not with me.
My dog Orson passed due to a tumor in his upper jaw today, and they put him down right in front of my family. It was devastating seeing them cry and hold onto him. I don’t like to cry in front of others, so I’ve been crying for the last hour or so. This really helped me realize that you’re happier when you think of the good times instead of bad. I love you pup pup, always will.

I had no idea, I was just going in to check on him a bit early, and found him acting abnormally, I got lucky, and I'm so glad me and my whole family was there for him in his last moments. But It's s not like you knew this would happen, and it's not like you had much of a choice. I doubt you left to go to class because you wanted to be away from her. If she understood why you left, sure she would have missed you still, but she would realize that you were doing what you needed to. The fact that you feel guilty shows that you care. I think she knew that you cared for her, that she was loved even when she couldn't be with you. Remember that. She wasn't with you for long....but I'm sure when you were there, you made her feel loved, and that's all any animal could ask for!
im so sorry for your loss, i think the guilty feeling after losing a pet is the worst feeling ever. But think like this, animals are way better than us in forgiving and understanding, that is their magical talent, and im sure your baby knows that you love him and he loves you too. unconditionally. every day for 2 years my cat would greet me after i got home from work, and yesterday i got home and she wasn’t there. i was a bit worried but i figured she was out wandering around, after 2 hours of being home my sister told me she came with bad news and instantly my stomach dropped and all i could think about was my cute soft paws, and i was filled with dread, she takes me to my cat and she had passed away, even though i was looking at my cat, it didn’t feel real, the cat i had cuddled with in cold nights and had fun teasing, was now gone and i could never ever talk to her again and she will never be there to greet me after work again, i will never hear her voice ask for food. or her meow of when she wants to be let in. i’m so sad i don’t know what to do, i was in a daze all day today at work thinking about her, and for the first time in 2 years (since the time she was a little kitten) she wasn’t there waiting for me when i got home from work, i felt alone, and depressed. yesterday i buried her, it was the hardest thing i have ever done, i loved her like a daughter, and for most of the time i was crying and saying my goodbyes, i kept touching her fur since i would never be able to again. i didn’t want to bury her, but i wanted to give her the respect she deserves, it was so hard, i still can’t believe she’s gone, i feel like she might just be waiting on the other side of the door waiting for me to open it for her to come in and start asking for food. i can’t believe it and i don’t want to believe it, she was my daughter.

Our family cat passed away yesterday of old age. We feel terrible, like we weren't able do enough. He was waiting for us under the bed. My dad called me to take him out. I managed to do so, but after meowing twice, he stopped breathing. I had known him since I was born. The house feels really empty without him. 10 whole years of love and joy ended here. My dachshund passed away suddenly from congested heart failure a week ago. Her sister passed away a few months prior. Once her sister passed, she barely would eat and no longer wanted to do things she used to. My 15 year old shihtzu was put to sleep today (01/06/2023) and tonight (first night), i feel like my soul has been ripped apart. I lost my dog on 13/05/2024. She was 3 years old. Both my dogs(male and female) had loss of appetite. Diagnosed with Tick fever. The female puppy couldn’t make it. Somehow I blame myself for thinking about the things I could/ should have done to save her.

I lost my dog yesterday.. He got hit by a car after he ran away from the house. I feel so empty, sad, and full of resentment for his death.. Can't help to cry every time I think about him.. My cat has been calling him since yesterday and sitting on his grave.. It's so heart-breaking
lost my cat yesterday, I’m truly broken, my mom and dad too. The house just feels so empty, everyday efter school I come home and cuddle with my little cat. Now there’s nobody to cuddle with.
every day for 2 years my cat would greet me after i got home from work, and yesterday i got home and she wasn’t there. i was a bit worried but i figured she was out wandering around, after 2 hours of being home my sister told me she came with bad news and instantly my stomach dropped and all i could think about was my cute soft paws, and i was filled with dread, she takes me to my cat and she had passed away, even though i was looking at my cat, it didn’t feel real, the cat i had cuddled with in cold nights and had fun teasing, was now gone and i could never ever talk to her again and she will never be there to greet me after work again, i will never hear her voice ask for food. or her meow of when she wants to be let in. i’m so sad i don’t know what to do, i was in a daze all day today at work thinking about her, and for the first time in 2 years (since the time she was a little kitten) she wasn’t there waiting for me when i got home from work, i felt alone, and depressed. yesterday i buried her, it was the hardest thing i have ever done, i loved her like a daughter, and for most of the time i was crying and saying my goodbyes, i kept touching her fur since i would never be able to again. i didn’t want to bury her, but i wanted to give her the respect she deserves, it was so hard, i still can’t believe she’s gone, i feel like she might just be waiting on the other side of the door waiting for me to open it for her to come in and start asking for food. i can’t believe it and i don’t want to believe it, she was my daughter.
To me, pets are not just pets, they're family members. My 2 doggies passed away, a father one passed away on second day of Lunar New Year (few years ago) and a child one passed away before Lunar New Year in this year. A father was sick and for some reasons a child one...😞. I still miss them, cry everytime they show up in my mind, hope if heaven is real, they 2 are happy there, and to Lucky and Shorty, a mother one - Cream is ok, she misses you really much, poor girl. Miss you so much, Lucky and Shorty❤️😔

We lost one of our cats (the one on my profile photo) 3 days ago and I truly regret not spending much time with her when she was alive...her passing indeed taught me a lesson and now I try my best to spend time as much as possible with our remaining cats.

My Princy left me on 12th September. She was like ur kitty. White furr mixed Persian ,round eyes,very bubble. She was only 5months. When she got viral infection, she was sad but cooperating wit the treatment. She wanted to live but couldn't make it. Died infront of me on hospital bed. I don't have any other cat but i lost a precious gem. Don't know how to overcome this. It's too hard for me .
My cat died on September 5th. I’ll definitely try to spend more time with future cats. Her kidneys suddenly failed and she didn’t show any signs she was dying or even slowing down except for her last two days. She was about 14+ but acted young. I didn’t expect it to be so sudden I wish I would have held her more.
I know for a fact pets go to heaven though if they bring you happiness. When I was putting my cat down I was annoyed because I couldn’t get the song amazing grace out of my head. Guess what the opening song that day in church was? Amazing grace. Also the readings were about the lost sheep (I haven’t believed in god for a while) Heaven would be boring without animals. There is no way there aren’t animals. I prayed for a sign she was in heaven and got one.

My dog of 15 years is getting put down later today. She is older than I am and I’ve been with her ever since I was born. Even though she is still here for a few more hours, the pain I feel already is unimaginable. I received the news not that long ago and it hit me like a bullet. I will never ever be the same, and there will always be a hole in our families hearts.
I lost my cat on sunday unexpectedly. She ran away and she passed away alone :(. She had a heart murmur for the six years I took care of her. I never got the chance to say goodbye to her, right now I am dealing with a way to cope through loss, watching this video has really helped. Thank you

My Cat also unexpectedly died at the age of 13 on Tuesday (18/10/2022). The cause of that was his Osteoporose, which we didn't notice until he jumped of the bed and landed bad. The Osteoporose then blocked the nerves in his spinal cord, which made him unable to move his lower body, hold in his pee, etc. Because of that he also has gotten bad blood circulation, which can lead to heart failure. (This happend on Monday(17/10/2022) at 11PM) We went with him to the Emergency Vet, where they wanted to put him down. My Mother disagreed as she wanted to get a 2nd Opinion at our Vet, which we wanted to go to on Tuesday Morning. (at around 10AM)
He sadly passed away on Tuesday at around 3-5AM on our couch because his Heart stopped beating while he was asleep, which the Vet said can happen.
We have noticed his death when we woke up and wanted to check how Lucky is doing. (Lucky is the Name of my Cat)
We buried him at his favourite sleeping spot in our garden.

My little sweet dog of 3 years old died this morning. She smiled at me calmly before passing away. I feel so empty inside. I hope she knew how much I loved her. Tomorrow I will go bury her in the woods with flowers because I am too poor to have her diagnose for cause of death.
Maybe soon I will adopt another dog after, I feel like it can be my 2nd chance…and also in order to fill my empty heart once again.

I just lost my ginger buddy. He was really big and really fluffy! He lived for a long time. We pretty much lived to the same age (I’m a year or two older than him) so I really did just lose someone I’ve been with my entire life. He survived so much including many fights and getting hit by a car. On the last day that I saw him, he stayed with me and I just sat and talked to him. I gave him cuddles and he meowed back in response to me.
I vividly remember the first time I met him. He was a kitten, but not too young. I remember seeing this ginger little guy sat looking up at me. Toddler me bent down to him and we just locked eyes. Since then, I’ve loved him so much.
His death was quite unexpected, so I was so shocked. I’m currently bawling my eyes out because it’s just so sad that I’ll never be able to give him a hug again.
My dog, who i knew most of my life passed away today, April 24th, 2023. I don't know what to do, it hurts so much but I know she wouldn't want me to be sad, But I can't help but feel sad. My cat, Mini, died today due to a snake bite. I didn't know what to do since there was no pet hospital open at that time. I hoped to take her in the morning, but when I woke up, my mother was crying beside Mini. My mother loved her as much as her own child she named her as mini because she is small in size . We miss her so much. 😞

My chihuahua, Pipsqueak, died in my arms today after 13 1/2 wonderful years. She was showing signs of age for awhile but seemed to have a lot of life left in her until yesterday. She went downhill quickly and had a stroke mid-afternoon. I’m devastated but so thankful she wasn’t in pain for long. This hurts so much.

edit: it’s been a month. i am still sad and cry here and there, but it’s gotten a lot better. it takes about a week or a couple days to start to feel a bit better about your pet dying, but you will eventually feel better! may God bless everyone in this comment section and help them deal with loss! i love you all and know that all animals go to heaven, no matter what. you are appreciated and know that it will be okay!!

Just lost my cat. We’ve been together since I was just 0 years old. Every time I would feel down I’d see her and she’d fix all my problems and just brighten my day. my 3 year old husky had to be put down yesterday after getting hit by a car the day before. her brain injuries were too severe to save her. she bolted out the door because she wanted to play outside, her life was cut so short. she was so good for a husky, so gentle and she never barked. i just feel so sad, especially since we still have our goldendoodle, her best friend, he now has nobody to play with. im only finding comfort in the fact that my last memory with her was playing at the dog park the morning before the accident. she was so happy and loved
My beloved dog just died yesterday. I can't express how much painful how it feels.😭 I feel depressed because he's been my companion for more than 8 years. He's very loving, and he's always there for you when you're sad by coming to you and wagging his tail to you, his presence alone lights up the room, and he guards our home like it's his own. 😞 I watched videos on coping because it's really unbearable, I always cry whenever I remember him or his thoughts came to mind. I felt guilty because I was not able to bring him to the veterinary, thinking it's just a simple cough and diarrhea. Just woke up he's slumped on the floor lifeless with eyes still open.😭 videos like this makes me understand and lessen the pain a bit BUT I don't know I still cry every moment because I can no longer feel his presence. The home is very quiet without him. Please pray for me, I don't want to eat and can't sleep, I really miss and love him.😭 Thank You.🧡
I pray your feeling better now as time has passed. My beloved dog 15 years old was put to sleep today and your right this pain is the worst sadness I have ever felt. @@dreammkeeper2157 thank you for those kind words my friend. I feel your pain, It's really painful in the first 1 to 3 months, all we can do is grieve and feel the loss. Just 2 months ago, out of nowhere someone gave us a puppy, it really helped but I still think of my dog that passed. When my cat Snare passed away I didn't feel ok from December 25th to early January. When I wasn't crying I was either on my computer, asleep due to crying, or going out to just hug my family. I had Snare for 12 years, had him since he was only 2 years old he was 14 years old and losing him the day before Christmas hurt like heck!
I still remember the day I had to make one of the hardest calls I had to ever make. Snare was losing weight, his ribs were showing and I knew just how fast an old cat can go down hill cause my sister's cat Zephyr. I didn't want that to happen to Snare, I made him a promise that I would do everything in my power to make sure that he had a better life then he would have had with his other owner, his other owner wasn't nice to him. It was no one else's call but mine.
My other family members, like Aunts, Uncles, and Cousin knew I loved him. One of my cousins as soon as she got the text from my older sister telling everyone what happened actually went out to Walmart to find something for me. She ended up getting me a grey and white cat plushie, it looked almost like Snare. I ended up naming him Snare Plushie.
It's been 2 years since his passing and I still don't remember what all I did besides crying, sleeping, crying into family, and playing on my computer.
One thing I do 100% remember is a dream that I had of him in January. I just kept asking God to make sure that he was ok and he answered it.
I was in my mom's computer room playing on the computer, I didn't have one of my own at the time, when I felt something furry touch my feet. I looked down and there he was. Snare looking up at me looking as young and healthy as I remembered. His light green eyes shining as brightly as ever. I just smiled, scratched his left cheek and watched as he closed his eyes, leaned into my hand, a smile appearing on his face as he began to purr.

I lost my Bernese Bear at nearly age of 8 in August. It was very sudden and within a few days he was gone. Fast forward to yesterday Dec 9, My Golden Retriever Beemer suddenly lost all function of his legs and was whimpering in pain in the morning and by afternoon he was gone. The vet diagnosed him with meningitis at age 8. Thank you for making videos like these.

had my dog for almost 17 years. she was my companion. more than any friend or even family was for me. my dog got ran over by a car, the driver didn't care to check and my dad rushed her to the vet. She's still alive but I don't know how long she'll last, i literally trembled and cried when I heard the news. I knew here since I was 3 and I can't let that 10 years of memories with her go to waste, my whole family loved that dog and we can't let her die by being killed, we wanna finish her life story and give her the love she needs. My precious cat passed away at October 6, 2023 at age 18. She was having difficulty getting up on her feet and trouble breathing. The moment I saw her behavior, I took her to the vet immediately. The doctor informed us she had respiratory distress, fluid in her lungs, dehydration. Then, my fear came true, and it was a very hard decision for me to choose. It was very painful to see my cat go. When she ut to sleep, I haven't cried this hard since high school. For the past 17 years, she was like a daughter to me and we took care of her very much in great health! The last thing I wanna do for my cat is to cut off her thick fur ball for free, which is very pricey these days, so I took my time cutting off her fur before taking her to the vet.

lost my cat yesterday morning, who had a seizure/cardiac arrest right in front of me. it was the hardest thing i’ve ever seen and comprehended and i didn’t even want to believe it. i feel so empty without him because that cat was my everything and now he’s gone and it feels so empty without him.
we put him in a cardboard box, decorated it and buried him. we also put beautiful flowers where he was buried. couldn’t go an hour today and yesterday without crying.
My 9 month old puppy passed away on Sunday (November 19). I was absolutely heartbroken and devastated. I had let her out to go potty and wasn’t watching. She was missing for 4 hours and we found her body in the forest. We had to bury her and I was in tears because she had only been a baby. I might go to the doctor and get checked out, I still have the images replay in my head and constantly cry from time to time, it was my fault. ❤
Nobody would wish that to happen. I understand. I lost my boy, too. I know you feel guilty for not doing something but it is what it is no matter what. Their time is borrowed and we have to give it back. Just be happy that s/he let you be a part of their lives. Eventhough we know deep down we will miss them everyday.
My beautiful angel is going to sleep today. He was always the one who used to follow me around everywhere, my little pal. My whole family is devastated by the news. He wasn’t even meant to be part of the family, we were only going to look after him for a few days until he could be rehomed but he won all our hearts with his kind nature.
I’ve lost pets in the past and it doesn’t get any easier but it does make me feel better to know I did the utmost best I could to make them feel loved and safe while under my care. I have hope I’ll see them again someday, so it’s not really goodbye. Nothing lives forever and I truly appreciate life thanks to my pets and all the responsibility that came with it has made me a much better person. So don’t grieve for what has to happen to us all one day but be happy they were part of your life for a time. If our pets could talk, I’m sure they’d say thank you from the bottom of their hearts for every ounce of time and love you shared together. ❤
There was this cat that lived at my grandmas house not too long ago, I created a special bond with her and ended up calling her Athena. I prepared myself telling myself everyday that I could and would lose her any day now. A few months back she went missing and I’ve no lost hope in ever finding her. I still sit outside my grandmas house hoping that one day she’ll somehow come back. This video and the comments brought me a tiny bit of comfort knowing I’m not the only one going through this.

My guinea pig died on the way to the vet today. People always call me pathetic for grieving a guinea pig, they did with my first one too. Now I can't talk to anyone about it either. I just miss him so much.
This video has helped me a lot with losing my cat at the start of the summer. It was my first day of work so I couldn't go with to say goodbye like I wanted to. Tomorrow we're welcoming in a new kitten and on Friday a brand new puppy. This video helped me cope with my emotions and I am now ready to welcome my new babies with open arms all thanks to this video.

I lost my Brownie 8 days ago and until now I am still crying. My husband doesn't like it .He said we have 8 dogs at home why are you crying for Brownie. Brownie has kept me company in the office. He slept with me in the office and he was there during my struggles with those stressful documents that I was able to submit several months ago...I really miss my Brownie...still crying..can't hold back the tears...

Just lost a cat that's been with us for 17 years. Now for the first time in close to 22 years, we're without a pet and the house feels so empty now. I'm struggling pretty hard right now because I was too weak to be there for the euthanasia. I couldn't even bear the weight of bringing him home to be buried... I just feel so damn empty now that he's gone and I couldn't even be strong enough to be there with him.

I Iost my childhood dog 4 weeks ago on Christmas Eve, even though dogs are now widely accepted to be considered family, I still got the "it's just a dog" treatment. The people didn't say that directly but we were told by a handful of people to just bury her in the yard and get it over with, rather than spending money to get her cremated which is what we wanted (and did do) so we can bring her with us if/when we move houses.
I really sympathize with you this past summer I lost my 2 year old chicken Henrietta that I had since she hatched and it just really hurt because that day I knew something was wrong and that she wasn’t going to make it so I just held her for hours until she passed away.

Omg pls do it’s so worth it!! We got a miniature wool figurine done off of Etsy too. It took about a year and a half, but it’s so beautiful. It poses too! So you can see their personality in the model too ❤

@@freshbrewedasmr3378 same here, we actually got the figurine done when our dog Zeus was still alive. Now that he’s gone as of Sunday, it was very fitting. We have it also in a display box so that it doesn’t get dust on it throughout the years. Maybe that’s something you can do for Juliet’s shrine too :) also thinking about shadow boxing my dog’s collar and cremation certificate etc

My cat, who was 20 years old, died today, just around an hour ago. She was with me for literally my entire life, and was the mamma cat of the house. She’d always yell at us if we were even a few minutes late to get in bed, she was the best.

my pet dog died from a sickness. My dad was so happy when we bought him. He always wanted a dog... but my dog got sick and we couldnt help him. We did everything, but right before the blood tranfusion my dog died. I had him only for a month, but i loved him very much. He was a golden retriver, a puppy. He was in so much pain when he died. I hope he is in a better place now

Hello. I lost my 4-month old golden retriever pup to Distemper. I had to put him to sleep. I wished I could have done more to save him. I had him only for a month too but it was so painful, like a massive hole has been left on my heart.

i was young and stupid when i got him as a child. my other pet had died, but i got another (later i realize i shouldn't've) and he was the only one in that small jail of a cage at the pet store. standing there, looking at me sadly, i felt bad. i adopted him.
i loved him. he was such a highlight of my life and he was such a good thing. i always greeted him as i came from school. he was always happy to see me.
he never had a cagemate. i was so stupid to believe my own company was enough for him. i was so fucking selfish. why. why did i ever let him suffer like that? i just let him deal with loneliness his entire life and probably depression, and yet i thought it was fine.
im so mad at myself still. he lived for about 5 years with some trouble here and there but he was such a great guinea pig.
one day i came to see what he was doing. i thought he was sleeping, and i wanted to hold him. i took his igloo and greeted him... and... and he was dead. limp. cold.
that was my life check. in the pandemic. already feeling bad. just... the recollection of all my terrible actions... i never gave him enough of anything. i never gave him enough attention. i never let him get out enough. what did i not do?
panda, if you can still read this. i'm so sorry for the shit i've done. i really took you for granted, like a doll that i can just pick up without any other interaction or anything else and play with you, and just leave you.
i just let you suffer... suffer.

The fact that he was looking at you sadly in the pet shop, but then always happy when you had him means you did something right. Sounds like he got the power to smile from you and your love.
Lost my pet rabbit today. At least he died as he slept. He wasn't mauled by a fox. I'm glad he lived his life with people who loved him.

Thanks so much! My kitten who was only 8 months old died early this morning. He had this horrible fluid in his stomach and we had to put him down. I have couldn’t stop crying for hours so this helped SO much!!!

thanks this helped alot, I am now after 3 hours on stage 5 with grief process: acceptance. Ill just remember the good times we had and smile and keep my pets closely. Once again thank you for calming me down.

Just today a bird I was taking care of has passed away. I know that he is happier in heaven but it is still hard for me to let go. I just found him yesterday and I also feel guilty that I didn’t give him much attention in his short life. Right after we buried him, we got the sign from heaven of the white butterfly. I hope he is happy now
I just lost my Dog Roger recently, he was our family dog of 10 years now. I know my lil pups will miss him just as we do. Cherish the moments you have with them and everyone you love and care about, you never know if it will be your last. ❤️
My cat, shelly, died 2 months ago. She just turned 3. It is very hard. She was just so young. I always think of her, which makes me cry. I don't know if ill ever get over her.
The stray cat that I fed, pet and walk everyday is died today because any stone heart people open their house for him. Even my parents don't let me to take him in. So he died. He was my best friend. We've met at a huge earthquake. He found me and I found him. We hug each other and wait until it's totally safe. Until today, oh lord i cant.

My Gillu (rabbit) died yesterday... she was such a cute and charming baby... We loved her so much... She was totally fine but suddenly left eating anything and left us... Our family is heartbroken...please pray for her... I wish she could come back to us😣 and never leave us.... Our life will never be the same again... We love you Gillu and miss you so so so much.... My shiny died yesterday ,she was a street dog not our pet but she used to more than often stay at our home ,she used to make me feel loved and make my presence matters. I can't help but remember every now and then the moment she died, she was crying, then shaking on the floor and then she was no more in just a few seconds and on that day just a few minutes ago she was all happy and playing and fiddling here and there and the next moment she left the world.... She was just a three year old . People around me including my family are telling me that she was not ours to begin with, she did not love us, she was just a stray (my mom even scolded me saying that what kind of worthless daughter she gavd birth to ,who is crying over a dog who did not loved her) but for me she was my everything, it was me who used to wake countless time at night to see if she is ok, it was me who used to go with her at 2 am wherever she wanted to go ,it was me who used to feel the pain if anyone even as much as sweared to her, she was like a daughter to me.... I don't have pets but other street dogs who used to come at home... But after she is gone so abruptly i don't feel anything, not eaten anything in these 2 days ,does not want to do anything... I just want to go to her, please someone take me to her ,how will she live alone ,i want to know how is my shiny... Please someone take me to her... I want to hold her... Just once..
Ps. I knew for 2 ½ years but that doesn't matter, she is my heartbeat, i don't feel like breathing now that's she is not with me.
My dog Orson passed due to a tumor in his upper jaw today, and they put him down right in front of my family. It was devastating seeing them cry and hold onto him. I don’t like to cry in front of others, so I’ve been crying for the last hour or so. This really helped me realize that you’re happier when you think of the good times instead of bad. I love you pup pup, always will.
