Why must slides be only air dried when preparing smears for staining?
It would be better to hold one edge of the slide against a small piece of paper towel to wick away the excess water. I worry about rubbing the smear off of the slide with your suggestion.
After rinsing the excess methylene, can i place place lens paper over the slide to milk out the excess water?
