I made a ravens rap in 2011 saying joe would take us to the promised land. And that year we lost to new england but flacco was dealing in that game. Then the next year we won and he was mvp. I hollered out loud when joe got the trophy to lift it up for all the haters that said he wasnt good. Joe flacco is damn good quarterback and im glad he played for our ravens.
I remember distinctly that he was the highest paid player in the NFL at one point. The narrative was that it was ridiculous.....which it was, but Flacco was also one of the most successful Ravens quarterbacks ever, and probably the best before Lamar Jackson. Still, the replacement we all needed for Ryan Fitzpatrick is here, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. All Hail the Elite Paragon.
Living at home use to be the normal. If you didn't get married and start your own family, you helped your parents. I'm not sure why or how the stigma started that it's a negative thing. I guess some people see it as mooching?
@@proudpennsylvaniaman7996 It became less about “helping your parents” and more about “your parents helping/enabling you”. Plus let’s be honest, living with your parents as an adult isn’t exactly conducive to an active….intimate life.
People forget his eliteness EVERY SINGLE TIME. The man is seriously underrated. People talk about the defense and run game but man, Flacco just had an all-time group of peers with Manning, Brady, Brees, pre-darkness retreat Aaron Rodgers. If he was a young guy today he’d be not just Elite but the face of the NFL.
I would have said several years ago that he was not elite but what he’s done in past years shows that he’s at least a high level veteran talent at the very least
As a Bengals fan, I’ve considered him elite, especially during the year he won the Super Bowl. He is definitely still a great veteran player, and definitely not washed or past time for him to retire (Like it is for Aaron Rodgers)
I actually met Ray Rice 9 years ago because my sister and Rices daughter were in the same class and he always told my mom I should play football, really nice guy tho
Flacco is the second oldest player to win Comeback Player of the Year. The oldest is the very first recipient of the award, Earl Morral for what he did with the ‘72 Dolphins.
I've always hated the Ravens but I like it when _former_ Ravens go on to do well elsewhere. So I was happy for Flacco when he resurged in Cleveland and I hope he does well for the rest of his career. Unless he goes back to the Ravens.
I met Flacco in a coffee shop in Towson Maryland, not really knowing his height on the stat sheet beforehand, and was stunned at how tall he actually is in person. (Seemed like quite a pleasant down-to-earth guy as well) Working at Planet Hollywood I Matt Bruce Willis and once again was stunned this time and how short he was. Play is simply something that doesn't come across over the TV screen very well
He did have one great year post Superbowl. 2014 was his statical best season and let's remember no reed, no lewis at that point. Go watch the highlights of the ravens pats divisional round game. Flacco was ballin but ugh... That loss still hurts Then in 2015 he tore his ACL and MCL and was never the same
"They knew if they had a massive quarterback who could protect the ball in shitty weather...." I've been saying the Browns just need a big QB for years. They even had Flacco on the team and he proved that theory very correct and they still didn't get it.
Kind of crazy to think about it the incompetence of John Harbaugh kinda cause Joe Flacco‘s Baltimore career ,we knew the ravens problem was we had nobody good on the outside they never got an established guy for getting rid of Boldin. Then April 2018 everything for the ravens changed pick 32.
After watching Sam Darnold and Aaron Rodgers this year I don't know if we can totally blame Flacco for his performance with the Jets. Poor quarterback performance in New York seems to be par for course unless your name is Eli Manning, Phil Simms or Joe Namath
You'd like to think that Ray Rice is forgotten but living here in Baltimore I'm stunned by how many of his throwback jerseys are worn by people. It's really a disturbing cultural commentary as you see nowhere near the number of Jamal Lewis or priest Holmes jerseys, but a lot of Rice ones by people obviously trying to make some sort of misguided statement
@@JakeHemmingway There is no official breed called the “Blue Hen”. But the birds kept by UD are blue variants of the American gamecock. And the NCAA wouldn’t allow two universities to use The Cock as a mascot.
It's mostly for not getting back to the SB once he got that contract, I'd imagine. Still, most teams would give their firstborn for a QB as solid as Joe.
Joe Flacco will always be the Elite Dragon here in Baltimore. When he finally retires, he's a lock for the Ring of Honor.
That is correct

He actually had a chance to play at a pro bowl but chose to be there for the birth of his third child.
You didn't forget that Flacco won the rookie of the year because he didn't. Matt Ryan won that in 2008.

Going 11-0 at like 37 years old is crazy. He was also only 4 years younger than don shula the head coach. Greatest backup QB ever imo
I remember hearing about Flacco in college here in Delaware.
Hi I’m in Delaware.
Rock me Amadeus! Oh wait, you said Flacco and not Falco
Joe... Flacco... is... Elite !!
I went to SIU. We played his Delaware Blue Hens in the national semis and almost won that game. I was at that game.

I can’t believe you didn’t show that clip where Trump says he thinks Joe Flacco is an elite qb😂
Wasn’t Lamar’s first playoff game against the chargers?
Forgot he was an eagle and jets twice
