You need a motherboard came with a bluethoot and you also need a wifi anthenna (I try without it and the controller constantly disconnect everytime) and make sure the anthenna dont get block by anything (Your pc, Wall, furniture, etc.) my ps4 controller work well since

So for anyone thinking….no u can’t then unplug ur controller and connect it to the ps4 and keep the color. It’s only good for as long as ur connected to the pc. If u want a permanent change in color you’ll need to open the controller up and mess with the internal stuff.

I tried on Windows 10 today. Pairing via BT is quick and easy, but the controller seems to not stay connected enough to make even steam happy. I can press the PS button and it'll show up for like 5 seconds and then it goes away. Not even long enough to stay in the settings. I tried installing the DS4 utility, but it's complaining about .NET 5.0 which the OS says is installed, but the software constantly tells me it's not when launching. This prevents the software from even being installed. I tried Manually downloading the software, but even that didn't allow that method to proceed. My PC is across the room, so running a cable is not really something I want to do.

Didn't know about the Steam one. Always seemed to struggle with the bluetooth connection so it's really nice that Steam makes it so incredibly easy.
