- Hello My Wonderful You Tube Family 💖 Hope everyone is doing Great! Back at the ending of July I decided to cut my nails short. And from that month on I decided to record a short video of my nail growth once a month. I hope you guys enjoy. Super Big Hugs & Stay Safe 😘😘😘

I just cut my nails about 3 weeks ago and I almost cried. They about half as long as yours and I loved doing my nail care routine. But right now, I’m doing too much and they were getting in the way. After 30 years of acrylics and gels and finally taking them all off, it will take me months to get my nails to the point where yours are now that you have cut yours! I will be watching your journey. Keep safe and stay healthy - Barbara

I did the same thing the 2nd week of Oct. I usually cut them twice a yr. I was visiting a friend for a week and just decided to chop them off! She was Screaming!! 😂

Side note.. I could never grow my nails with nail polish like you can.. But I found dip powder and I am now able to grow my natural nails! ❤️

I’m so happy you did this so I can continue my journey with you ! I recently had to cut all of them off because my thumb was broken beyond compare , I repaired it way too much ! I was so depressed when I cut them off !! Feeling happy now though that you’re doing the same 😃

There’s another YTer I watch who never cuts hers and she constantly glues her broken pieces and they get thick and yellow with clumpy glue and it’s just gross. All I can think about is the bacteria and probably fungus that’s growing there. 🤭

I think i know who you’re talking about . I tried doing that with my thumb nails and it just didn’t sit right with me cause my thumbs started to look so bulky from the constant repair with the nail glue . I eventually just cut all my nails off and I’m trying again . None of my other nails break just the thumbs 🤧

Wow. Your nails grow so fast. I’ve been trying to grow my nails out and they get to a certain length and break. But also, I’m not super careful when I’m washing dishes etc. I need to be mindful if I want longer nails.
What kind of gloves do you use? I always end up with holes in the fingers of my right glove while washing dishes. 😫

I use to have long nails. Even had them when I taught myself how to play the violin. But I got tired of my nails breaking across my meat so I've been keeping them short for some years now. It's easier to type and my hands feel lighter. Plus I haven't had a nail break across my meat in a minute and I definitely don't miss that.

I always cringe when I see a Long Nail Beauty cutting her super long luxurious glamor length fingernails 😖. I think a nice free edge length is the length of your nail bed but your current length here is beautiful and looks so functional yet with a luxurious glamor length look 🤩🥳
Wow! You only cut them once a year and they are all basically the same length! Amazing!! My thumb nails are my problem - when they hit a certain length they start to crack right of the level of my nail bed... I tried to fix it with your methods but it seems to me that my nail stops to grow once it has a crack. Do you have any ideas?

I think we all need a change sometimes.I've literally just been to have my acrylics reapplied, because I was just fed up with them being nubs, even though I'd grown my own nails out so that the nail beds were completely recovered. The only thing I don't like about long nails is that I can't seem to clean inside my ears properly!!

For me it’s (I know this sounds gross) picking eye boogers without feeling sharp nails clawing my eyes 😂 and u can apply concealer under my eyes without having to maneuver around the nail
But now my finger tips feel so sensitive 😭

I keep my nails pretty short. Once they get too long they are constantly in my way. I can’t type well at all and I need to. That’s just my personal preference. I used to keep them longer when I was younger. Enjoy your nail growth journey!
I like the length you have now in Oct, I can't go longer than that myself, because of my work.
