They're a good looking car with a decent amount of power for daily but let's be honest it wasn't worth 150k new. Now they've dropped by like 60% they're a good price

The i8 was such a missed halo opportunity. They look kool but they were slower than my old 997 I use to have, not a very good power train pairing and most of all...poor marketing by BMW. It'll become a future classic in the same way as any other obscure low volume car would be that looks unique. DeLorean-esque. They are becoming the cheap stunt right now.... I've been seeing a few with absolutely heinous wraps on them reflecting their depreciation.
I agree with you in many ways. More power would have made this thing insane. But I also get where they were going with sustainability. Still, it is an icon and future classic in my eyes. I love this car.
