Topic for 2022: tips and info for naturally gray hair (low and high porosity)
Yes please◉‿◉
Yeees.
Yes. Please more information on which products are best for low porosity gray hair.
You are a breath of fresh (h)air! I watched your video with a group of 13-16 year old girls to educate them on Black hair. They were very impressed that you were actually a Chemist! I would like to hear about your journey into cosmetic chemistry. I would also like to see avideo on why we lose our hair during chemotherapy and how best to care for it while it grows back. Maybe also why hair is lost when you have a bariatric surgery. Whew! I know that was a lot, but you did ask! Peace and blessings to you and yours. Thanks for all that you do.
Definitely what to do about thinning hair and menopausal shedding. Us more seasoned naturals still need hair tips as well!
Yes please.

I’ve had success with taking MSM internally, but after a while it made me smell like sulfur. 🤢 lmao I didn’t know what was going on with me for a couple of weeks until I connected the dots. It was horrible! So now I take breaks from it to prevent that from happening again.
May I ask what brand? I have been taking MSM internally for about 2 years & have never hear of anyone developing a smell. The MSM crystals themselves don’t have a smell
@@jessecurlgoddess7320 which brand do you take?
@@nikelnicole Gold Standard Organic Sulfur
@@jessecurlgoddess7320 nutricost msm. I was also taking 1 teaspoon everyday for 3 months if I remember correctly. Now I take 1/8 of a teaspoon about 3-5 times a week. The crystals don’t smell. It was the sulfur building up in my system and my body cleansing it out through my pores.
@@ravenwilson7979 could be that you need to increase your water intake! When I know I haven’t been drinking enough water I will stop taking it or until I get back on track or I will break out
My mother used Sulphur 8 on my hair as a kid. May need to revisit that as a part of my routine. Nice! I don’t have any particular topic that I’m interested. I always learn at least one thing from you in all of your videos. Just appreciate that you share your knowledge with us. Thanks so much!
Hey girl! I would like to see you demonstrating your hair regimen process more often with some of your favorite products.
-such as your twist outs, deep conditioners, protein treatments, wash days etc!
You’re amazing! Keep dropping GEMS on us♥️
Your content is already great but I would love to hear more about high porosity hair and what to do for hormonal thinning hair.

I love the information you provide on this channel. I would also love to see (1) your own hair care routines and vlogs (2) how to deal with when you have both low and high porosity hair.
I love, love, love this video. I truly learned so much Curly Chemistry. Thanks for sharing your wisdom with us. Would you do some videos on best ways to care for aged natural hair that no longer stretches.
Hi Tonya! I would like to see you do more on thinning due to menopause & gray hair care for us mature curlies! Thanks!

Your channel is a great learning tool for health hair care and it's one of my go to channel. What I want to know more on mature hair care, thinning, crowns and edges, the right diy products that will get faster results. Thank you for wonderful information through the years and keep up the good work.
I love how quick and informative this was
thank you I always wanted to know more about Sulfur, as i've been considering adding it back into my regimen. I love your videos
Hey girl, I love all your content and I have learned a lot from them.
I will like to see content about relaxed hair, the changes to the structure of the hair, and ways to keep it healthy. Thanks.
I got to the point where I got tired of taking care of my hair. I'm tired of taking supplements, tired of doing stuff to it before I wash it, tired of putting stuff on it after I wash it, tired of researching things and trying things that never work anyway, tired of spending so much time and money on my hair.
Whew! You said a whole word right there 💯
I feel the same way but we can't give up!!!
So you are truly TIRED!
@@intelligentppl1 I found a system that works for me, so that cut off a lot of time wasted on shopping/researching. Now it's just doing it...which makes it easier since I've seen a 6 inch growth in the last 5 months

I want to see more videos talking about hair grease, and conditioners that have great ingredients and are affordable. I love ❤️ your channel and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

A panel discussion with stylists, historians and psychologists delving into natural hair journey from various aspects including social emotional trauma and insecurities.
Thanks so much for all the amazing info. Talking more about scalp conditions would be great and how to still grow healthy hair and retain lenght in spite of them. seborrheic dermatitis seems to be a big issue many people face but not talked about so much
I would love to see more videos about natural hair maintenance when wearing wigs. There are so many other YT videos about it but they have conflicting info and most are just opinions. I'd love to know the real science there and what hair care habits really help or hurt when wearing a wig as a protective style.
Hello Curly Chemistry ! I would looooove to see contents for thin / fine hair as this is a huge challenge as well and there is not a lot of content on the internet 🙏🏽🙏🏽
I would like to see your Winter regimen for keeping the hair moisturized throughout the season and your nightly regimen for prepping your for bed
Love your expertise, positive spirit and your channel, thank you
Thanks for all the useful information yoiu have given us so far. It has been so helpful in helping me understand my hair. I would love to see more content on things we can add to our diet that will help with heair growth BUT I love everything you put out so...
Thank you. Great timing!
Can you share your hair routines with demonstrations on each step of what you do/use in the process?
I love watching your channel! My hair grew so much in just these few months from watching you! But can you show more videos on how you maximize your twist and braids out so they last longer than 2 days?
I haven’t watched yet but I’ve been waiting on your take!!! Thanks
Thx for all your beautiful tips on hair care.Enjoy the rest of your day.👍🥰💝
Thank you so much for your content, I am so happy I found your channel😁. I would like you to maybe do more content about edges and how to take care of them ❤🌹 Thank you
I just want to say thank you for giving us all information needed to care for our hair. After using your tips and finding a routine that works for me, my hair has been thriving. I did a length check yesterday and was happy to see that my hair, when stretched, has grown to just about shoulder length - and this is from being stuck at neck length for quite a while. I've learned to love my hair and she loves me back! I'd be interested in seeing content related to post-menopausal, high porosity hair care for fine hair curlies. Thank you for all you do for us! Also, I just received my t-shirt and it's beautiful!
Thank you!! I’m so glad my channel is helping you see RESULTS!! Also, thank you for getting the t-shirt! I appreciate your support. 💜
@@CurlyChemistry It is said that MSM dissolves in water and not oil? What do you think of using it in a water dilution and spraying directly to the scalp? Could you recommend water to MSM ratio and how often to apply weekly as an example please?
@@christine1962ful the instructions of use is normally on the container. Everyone recommends tapering your dose over 2 week intervals. As in once daily to twice daily, and increasing grams as tolerated. Start at 1/8tsp to 1cup or so of orange juice. In order for MSM to be better effective you have to incorporate a certain amount of vitamin c (I’m not sure how much). MSM also dries you out so you have to drink PLENTY OF WATER. You don’t want to grow dry hair or have banging headaches from dehydration. Happy growing!
@@christine1962ful also I have dissolved MSM into oil. People do it but I think the amount is up to the person. Yes you can apply that on the hair and/or scalp but I don’t know if it’s more or less effective than taking it internally 🤔 maybe less
So glad I found your channel. I want to incorporate sulfur. I'm leaning toward topical treatments. So I'll look into those product recommendations.
I’d love to see more videos like this one!
All of the scientifically sound information that will Once and for All DeBunk the notion that

I'm still waiting on a traction alopecia video! How to reverse and when it's too late to reverse!
I watched your previous videos on sulphur. I mix ss with fenugreek oil and rosemary and mint. I take a supplement with cysteine and methionine. I also use black rice water. I have Alopecia areata. I love your content and always look forward to your videos. I'm 63 and an growing my hair out. I would like to have some information on coloring gray hair without the use of chemical dye.
Hi CC, you always seem to provide exactly the information I need and at the right time. Maybe a series on certain ingredients or products and how it/they react on different porosity hair, different hair types or color treated and/or relaxed vs natural? Also, it would be great to have a live so we can ask questions. Lastly, maybe offering a class or 20...😂 that would be beneficial to you (monetarily) while providing a great learning opportunity for us.

It’s funny because I didn’t even look at the date you loaded this video- and when you said what kind of information do we want from you from the new year I’m thinking you talking about 2024😂 Two years later and your video is still helpful.
Looks like I’ll be going back to the hair store to buy Sulphur 8 because my hair is breaking off: around my edges behind my ears, and this is after I did a BC. However, I do remember my mother using that on my hair after she shampooed my hair growing up and it stayed moisturized and grew.

In terms of future videos I am really interested to learn more about mixing ingredients for home made masks. For example I find powders quite drying so I add oil to them but then an avocado or banana binds it well together and flaxseeds add slip. How to figure out ratios of these different ingredients to create a nourishing and moisturizing hair home remedies?
Would love a video like this!
Great and helpful video! This is the first one of yours that I’ve seen, so Idk if you’ve done this idea already, but I think a lot of people may benefit from an education on ingredients and their scientific names. What I mean by that, is that I’ve seen a lot of people say, “if I can’t pronounce it or recognize it, it’s not a good ingredient,” and I think that your channel could at least help present an informed view on that. Most people would struggle to pronounce/recognize the botanical names for aloe vera or shea butter, but they don’t doubt that those are healthy. So I think it’s just an example of one person starting what appears to be a smart talking point, that is not necessarily based in truth. With your science background, I think the video could at least be worth making to present a fuller view. Thanks love! 💗
