If you’ve ever driven a Sequoia there’s no way in hell you would ever buy a Tahoe Suburban Yukon or Escalade

Agreed. As a 2d Gen owner, the only rig out there that draws an envy is the 7.2 Excursion. (We haul a camper that the Sequoia can handle but if anyone has towed with a diesel you know what I’m getting at here)

I own a sequoia platinum right now, have had suburban yukon escalade etc I like the GMs honestly but they have too many problems and are "under built" compared to the yota. Yes the sequoia gets worse mileage but you make up for that on lower cost of ownership/ less repairs

I am actually trying to save up for a relatively low mileage 2010 Sequoia SR5 2WD with the 4.6 V8 and a sunroof but no leather

Decent video. Even though I have owned a 2008 bought new (the first year for this generation, not 2007 as stated in the video), I didn’t know about the front window/moonroof key open. Cool! Anyway, thanks for the info. My Sequoia has 313,000 miles, still going strong.

Thanks for sharing! Found them all when I first bought mine 2009 limited used. Found out it wasn’t accident free but I love it to this day. Solid family vehicle and some more!

We had our used 2013 sequoia for only a few days and we ended up hitting a brown bear at night on the highway going 70. It hit the right front bumper area and hit hard enough to launch that bear at least 5 feet up in the air and flip over a few times before flying off the edge of the highway. We were able to drive home. No airbags deployed but it did do about 5000 damage to the front end and radiator/AC etc. but all good and so glad we had bought the sequoia when we did.

That tool to lower the spare tire was vexing to me. It was raining and hard to see but the tool you insert through the slot has a hook that doesn’t hook on to anything but rather is pushed against a cup shape and the friction between the two while turning lowers the tire. At least that is how it is in my 2008 Sequoia.

With the middle/rears seats down and rear window down - would you think a 10ft kayak would fit?
How much room from back of the front seats to the rear door/trunk?

Thanks for posting. My 2015 Sequoia Platinum has a mini spare. 20" rims and 18" spare. Go figure. I wonder if anyone has replaced the mini with a full sized spare? Is there room in the spare area under the car for a full sized spare?

What about the radar sonar, for highway driving? Or the ride height adjustment? Or the center locking diff( tundra does not have this!!)

The front window thing is cool, and the spare tire I had no clue, but all the other stuff is kinda no-brainers. Anyhoo, what I really came here to say is that's a nice looking rig!

The key/window trick works in my 2019 Tundra as well. Many of the videos I've seen only describe it with the remote key fob hidden key. But I have the key like your Sequoia.

Great Video!!! Thanks for sharing the 6 Hidden Features!!! I knew of some but did not know of all of them!!! I loved learning of the ones I had no idea were available!!! I came to RUclips looking to see if I could find the Diagnostic Port. I have a 2017 and am looking for it to plug in a mileage reader to save on car insurance. Can you help me know where it is located? TY!!!

You’re welcome, thank you for the kind comment 👍 yes, it’s tucked underneath the driver‘s side dash. If you’re sitting in the driver seats it’s right above your right knee.
