I had no idea the sequoia also had the roll down back window! This just jumped to the top of my list! My 2 golden retrievers would love this. I’m looking to purchase a vehicle that is kid and dog friendly and it’s harder than I thought. I wish more SUV’s had the roll down back window and the 4 roof vents. But gosh the interior of this and the 4Runner is so outdated, I hope they update soon! Thanks so much for the video!
It’s kind of outdated but extremely usable and comfortable. Test drive one they ride nice and have a ton of power . The back window is the best feature
if you have dogs the last thing you need is a luxury interior for them to mess up with all the hair, claws, teeth, etc. look at the interior as a "blessing" as far as your needs are concerned :) i have a 1st Gen Sequoia 4x4 with 262k miles on it and it's hands down my #1 favorite vehicle of all time. this is after owning Audi's, Land Rover's, Ford's, Chevy's, Dodge's and many other vehicles.
We have a 2010 Sequoia, two kids and two golden retrievers. We travel very comfortably , safely and this tank is extremely reliable and comfortable. We love our Sequoia!!!!
Very entertaining video. I LOVE the 'dated' look of the Toyota 4Runner and Sequoia. Give me rock solid engines and transmissions that are virtually guaranteed to run 300,000 trouble-free miles and I'll take 'dated' ALL DAY LONG! People talk of hitting the Mega Millions and buying a Porsche, a Lambo, Range Rover, Tesla, etc. A brand new Toyota Sequoia TRD Off-Road (for jumping curbs at the Starbucks) would be my LOTTO winning dream vehicle.
We've had sequoias since 2008. The newer models are tanks. I love them. Our current one we went all in. 3" lift, 35"tires, upgraded sound system with sub woofers, off road suspension, air bags, roof rack... it's awesome.
Having been in a Sequoia, you quickly realize how aptly named this truck is. It truly is enormous. I also agree that the rear window feature should be a staple in all SUVs. I don't know why others don't do it as well. Great review!
I own 2 Great Pyrenees dogs plus my wife and son. Just picked myself up a 2021 Trd pro lunar rock. We absolutely love it. Especially my dogs lol. Sequoia checked all the boxes for us which far outweighed the mpg “issue” We were never worried about mpg so the sequoia was an all around winner for us.
FYI- that “secret compartment” up front you had to squeeze your hand into? That whole cup holder section comes OUT! Easy peasy lol. I’ve used that section to hood flower vases and other awkward items I didn’t want spilling
The real secret gem to this vehicle is not its interior , it's the engine and drivetrain. Look up overland sequoia . You will be amazed at what this vehicle really is .
Another great video! I was skeptical, but as the owner of a 100lb Giant Scnauzer, you've got me seeing the possibilities with the Sequoia. Happy Holidays to you and your pack.
We have a 2019 Toyota Sequoia TRD Sport. We keep the third row seat folded down to accommodate our 24' X 48" dog crate. Our 100lb Giant Schnauzer goes just about everywhere with us. And there's enough room for a second crate for when we expand our pack. Yes, the gas mileage sucks, but everything else about the Sequoia rocks.
We just got our sequoia and we LOVEE IT btw. It’s truly the perfect full family car for adventures and dogs . Besides the features, it’s sooo reliable and tough
@2:00. You can remove those two cup holders by pulling up on them. Also, you can remove the ash try and use that as a cup holder too. So you can add another cup holder to the truck (17 or 19).
I like the Toyota 4Runner a lot, I have never considered the Sequoia and Land Cruiser though. My friends have a Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, and Acura MDX, we never really go off roading enough to warrant the body on frame trade offs in mpg and on street city/highway comfort.
Superb work, Deb!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Andie & Abby seemed to be really digging this Sequoia! A total of 16 cupholders! 👀 Excellent legroom/gigantic aisle space! 🤯 And that power retractable rearview window! 🙌🏽 Those are a few of the many elements that still make the Sequoia a rather enticing offering. Great job pointing out those key aspects! 👍🏼 Yes... The Sequoia is showing it's age in some areas, but indeed! This vehicle packs so much utility and space. Not to the mention, the Sequoia boasts a vibe like no other (especially with the TRD Pro Pkg): rugged, retro, and BOLD! 😎💯 Can't wait for your next video. HAPPY HOLIDAYS, y'all!!! 😁😊
I was ready to hmm and haw about this thing. Thinking it's dated and SUVs like the new Yukon/Tahoe are so much better. But in this color scheme it has a cool JDM retro look and reliable aura that is kind of appealing? 🤷.
GIRLL how did you know I'm looking for an SUV to accommodate my big dogs hahaha! The air vents, the space. But, I would like better gas economy. Can't wait for what they have planned for a large SUV hybrid!
Great video! I love watching how Andie and Abby interact. Abby is a big girl now. Great SUV! I can sure see how it would be perfect for a family with big dogs. My favorite part was your getting down from the roof box and swinging into the vehicle!
As always...Andie & Abby are so cute. The Toyota Sequioa would be standing in my driveway...had it not been for the fuelprices here in Europe (twice of what it is in The USA).
I want one eventually. I’ll keep it and pass it down. With my RAV4 and sequoia I’ll be good. And duh my old pick up truck to do things around the house.
I’m excited for the next generation of Toyota trucks. We are planning on getting the second year of the next gen. Only decision is Tacoma, 4Runner, Tundra, or Sequoia. Current Sequoia is a little dated, but it’s still a good buy for longevity and size.
Great review, but u missed the secret compartment by shifter. The 2 drink holders are removable leaving a bigger space. Like to place a camera or video recorder for easy access
I love you and your doggos waaay more than that truck. Its nice- but unless I had a business that warrants that office on wheels, it is just overdone for my needs and wants. My dog would love it though!🤣🐾🐾 Happy Paw-lidays to you and yours!❤️🎄❤️🌻Keep these videos coming! I love them.🐾🐾
What is with Toyota/Lexus being so late to redesign/update their models? I love so many of their models but they badly need updating. My newfoundland and I are impatiently waiting
I like everything about the Sequoia, except the gas. Urrrg.... It's always, always, and always thirsty. This is why, I'm trying to trade-in my SUV to another car. Lol.
Interesting BUDDONS.. are you from canada or something ?? Cute tennis shoes.. guess your more a comfy girl.. glad the sequoia is comfy. I am shopping now for a used one.. no dogs.. but some overlanding sleeping bags and stuff The savage goose sent me here.. he is headed to arbys.. and then the bathroom
Way too money for old Toyota technology today. There is a reason GM's Tahoe, Yukon, and Escalade own half of the larger SUV market as the Japanese just cannot compete.
Right? Whenever I argue those merits, the Toyota fan boys attack with the vaunted Toyota reliability and they've all had Toyota's that have " gone 500,000 miles with no issues." Toyota is just lazy. There's no reason they can't incrementally improve their vehicles while still being reliable. Toyota should have upgraded the dash and interior on this and the tundra 3 years ago. Have you seen the 2021 Armada? Not a big fan of Nissan, but they did a great job on the refresh and I'd easily take that over this dinosaur
Ok sooooo, wtf is a "buddins", sorry that is annoying. I digress. If you want a Sequoia, don't go spending 70 grand. I have a 2008 and aside from a few tech updates and a slightly better infotainment system, it's identical. Yes like exactly the same. These things are dinosaurs from an update perspective. So since they will literally run forever, and I mean forever , 220k and a counting , drives like a 3 year old car, go find a clean used one and save oh maybe 40k. You will be tired of trying to park it, and stopping for gas long before it's done running. In all seriousness, they're great rigs, they're huge , comfortable, and maybe, just maybe the most reliable gas powered SUV ever made. They don't break, like never, ever break. Did I mention they like gas...a lot, of gas, lot...many stops for gas. Go buy one! Love mine.

Didn't change Mitch from the 2013 I got the 2013 still love this .
When Toyota built the Toyota Sequoia, they thought especially of🐶 Annie and her puppy, it is made for them and you.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌👌👌👌
Loved your video.
Very detailed and informative.

For about 40 grand out the door....maybe
The biggest appeal is Toyota's reliablity, especially in the Sequoia and Land Cruiser.
That hidden compartment comes all the way out too😂 I love this truck
Savagegeese encouraged us to check you out. Well that was a great idea 💡. I love your videos. I’m a new fan for sure.

The Highlander Hybrid! 🤣 but yeah I’m interested in seeing a hybrid Sequoia in the future
I bought the 2021 nightshade. Love this video

Anything for the “tube” 🤣
oh you can live in that one 😊 thanks for the video i enjoyed it 🤗
My 2017 SR5 Sequoia (60k prefect miles) rocks the cat box, thanks for great video, I get 14.5 MPG with BFG KO2.

the dogs made this reviewing video shine!!!
Great video. The dogs make the whole show. I have a Sequoia and it will last many thousands of miles with few problems.

The drone shots are so cool.
Love the look of exterior but damn, interior needs major upgrades
I saw a chart that’s floating around. I believe all the Toyota trucks are being updated by next gen with hybrid options by 2024.
The new Armada is light years ahead of this. The Sequoia is a joke
@@weirdshibainu it really is!!!

Great review, but u missed the secret compartment by shifter. The 2 drink holders are removable leaving a bigger space. Like to place a camera or video recorder for easy access

The main selling point for me was also all of the dog space it has!

Man with the gas prices today. If this was a hybrid I would get it in a heartbeat.
This big animal can only tow 7,100 lbs and a F150 can pull 11,200 lbs? Nice review! Thank you.
Yes and my Suburban tows a whoop 5,000 lbs.
The 2010 pull 10k lbs and are the SAME AS 2020 feature wise literally!
Cutest thumbnail ever!!
Great video, thanks so much !!!
Yesterdays Technology at todays prices. Take it for what you will, I’m still a Toyota fan!
You can get a 2011 for litterally 13,000 and swap grills and head lights and u save a lot
Yup.
Same exact tank !
We love our Sequoia!!!
Does it have the rolling back
Window ? I love that feature

Ooh the back glass down its off roader plus
thats the best way to access the roof rack
