My biggest issue with it is How hard it is to find the right encounters
yeah blue chest and thieves. some of the markers are under the map are you having the same problem?

I've gone to a handful of blue markers, no one there, but it prompted me to untie.
Saved people and never got an award, as in no prompt to collect it.
Hear the typi al call for help, but no one around.
Seems to be a lot more renegades with chest and hag tracks appearing.
Also, in coop, only one person can claim.
I like the concept of different modifiers each day. That’s neat and invites players to check it out at least just a little each day. My gripe is really with the goals themselves. I never like challenges in games that revolve around luck to this degree especially when it’s for a 2 week event. I like ones that are in the control of the player how they wanna get done. Like going out and killing a certain number of enemies, or doing parkour challenges, or collecting materials, or even just something unique. Running up and down the streets of a district hoping the right encounter spawns once in a blue moon endlessly is not fun or engaging imo. Thought Techland would’ve realized this by now
The polearm is extremly similar to my favorite weapon in dying light 1, so that automatically boost the event alot for me
HOWEVER
even that massive boost doesnt help the event feel fun or good, the christmas event gave us an actual new thing to do that threw enemies and loot at us, that is how events have to be, not making us do the same repetitive shit always
This is the type of event that would get me bored in 5 minutes tbh

One day completed the event and ngl the stuff is how i see when playing dead rishing 4 cause of the weapon reference I defeated the boss,wonder what will come next and I'll be waiting,good night and good luck

Anyone else not got crystals anymore ? After Christmas update i dont find any crystals after punching open the black shell dont matter where i go looking on the map
Ya they are bugged. Best way to get crystals now is the chapter 1 regular mission for Harper in the Trinity metro
Thank you for the live stream Respawned Gentlemen and for the explosive throwing knife strategy to get 2 red envelopes instead of the one also I need to correct my earlier statement on your stream I have around 1,455 hours 30 minutes and 59 seconds worth of game time I basically beat the game four times getting all the endings I just need two more.😊
Something Else I have noticed too, pk’s only take 1 explosive knife to kill and survivors take 3 or 4. So hang in the pk factions for spawns.

The spawn rate has been turned up today, they coming much faster now and I getting 3 or 4 red letters when I blowing up the pk/survivor.
Event rewards are nice, but I feel with how scarce the encounters can be that 30 should've been the personal goal instead of 50, feels very grindy. At least the rewards are nice though.
So I ordered dying light anniversary edition for the crane transmog I can't wait to play through the game too lol
I legit had to do 3 of them for the event to work peace keepers and survivors just weren’t spawn with letters it’s so annoying

I collected 50 envelopes in like 4 hours n got bored so now I’m playing the first dying light again…….I’ve never played the following dlc before an it’s so fuck’n cool

Probably not on the glitched weapons since they really aren't necessary anymore. Feel free to keep using them though. As for the guns I have talked about it a few times. I may do something more about it but we should be getting them in a couple of weeks
I like that the event is different, however I've now had the game lock up on me a couple of times on my Steam Deck. It makes it a little hard to play,... (don't know whether to laugh or sigh here). I was hoping there'd be a little story content with the event. Similar to, but not the same, unlike emotional investment, I really like when games get me story (or RPG invested.) I don't have a compelling story reason to get involved The good is that its not necessarily the same ongoing grind of eternal bounties, and the rewards are pretty cool... but its also kind of the same, grind for 'part a' so we can give you 'part b', insert into 'slot c' and proceed happily on with your life... (Did these guys ever get to play Dying Lignt? They should check out some of the events for those, compelling interaction with NPC's, story integration and challenges from other games, reasons to do stuff besides 'Hey Homer, hit the Big Red Button') Anyway, I know it sounds like it some, but I'm not overwhelmingly disappointed, just a little bummed that so many people have communicated thi9s to them and it seems like no-one's getting it. I guess I'm off to play some ESO endless dungeon and some Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. I hope they fix the crashes so I can start playing on the Steam Deck soon.

Can someone please explain how the wood blessing that is active today is actually supposed to work? Not once have I seen my in game health "Auto-Heal" so far and I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if this wood blessing is just a load of BS 🙃

My spear doesn't have boomerang effect not sure if it is a bug
No it just does extra thrown damage from my understanding

Ia anything worth getting on this event cuz lately events aren't worth doing cuz the weapons or armor has e crappy stats on them... And weren't worth the time spent getting them..

Idk this event is annoying. You don't even bother with it on a normal play thru but now an event..... running and running and running and running get one the run n run n run and nope just a bandit. Run n run n run n nope just a guarded chest, run n run run n run get bored and turn game off. I thought it's an celebration event not an event to bored and repel ur player base from caring.
Time to throw the game back on the menu. I usually don't like the Asian armors&weapons but that outfit looks great and another polearm is great since they are my new favorite weapon type

The first day was supposed to have no damage to using your melee weapons but mine needed to be repaired in less than an hour jezzz

One of the worst events, run around to maybe get lucky and get the right encounter... 50 times!
This event is very boring. Its the same acounter over and over again and its super easy
Pretty bad event and difficult to do as you need to be looking for those 2 and this much effort for those rewards makes it just bad and annoying to complete
Same reason the chivalry event was shit, there unreliable
