For the Mavs, their best free agent signing 100% that people aren't realizing, was DeAndre Jordan back in summer 2018. They ended up flipping DJ in a trade package for Kristaps Porzingis. Then, they flipped KP for Dinwiddie and made it to the 2022 WCF. Then they traded Spence in a package for Kyrie Irving a year later and made it to the finals with Ky in 2024. A huge path/domino effect that started with DJ lmao.
Matt, Grizzlies has to be Tony Allen over Tyus Jones. Signed in 2010 off-season. Was one of the Core Four through the early 2010s Grit and Grind playoff runs and really epitomized the play style of those teams. One of the best perimeter defenders in the league (Kobe said Allen was his toughest matchup). He's an absolute legend in Grizz history, Jones is not. Not that it matters for this list, but off the court, he's still living in Memphis and part of the community. On the Chris Vernon Show every Tuesday, too!
as a pacers fan, i think the siakam signing is better than the brogdon one. being able to trade him for nesmith down the line was awesome but when it comes to pure talent, siakam’s our best signing
Low key it would have been really funny to have your thumbnail be 3 split pics of Lebron being signed to the Heat, Cavs and Lakers. Love the vids buddy.
Am I trippin or didn’t OKC re-sign PG and then traded him later on? Which in that trade we got a load of draft picks & SGA. We all know how good of a trade that was… so couldn’t you technically argue that PG was the best signing?
I agree with lebron to Miami but if we’re talking pure signing Jimmy gets love 2 finals and yes it was a loss but in terms of pure free agency he takes the cake
Oh to reflect now on that JB contract. I was there on draft night when the Knicks cleared cap for JB to I believe lock them into mediocrity according to a certain SROS😂 bet you’ve never been so happy to be so wrong. What a signing
As a Magic fan, I agree there’s really no good signings. DJ was prob my favorite in the past decade. N we got guys to come to Orlando like Jeff Green n Brandon Jennings who I was wishing to be a Magic but didn’t work out cuz the coaching was not it.
Brunson is such a BARGAIN contract when I first seen what he got the best players in the league are gonna be getting paid 60 million a year in the next 5-6 years😭 the knicks can’t mess up with the window that they got. To at least make the finals idk about winning
Mavs fan. Hoping the answer is Klay Thompson. But for actual results, I’d say Derrick Jones. Chandler Parsons signing was a joke. Dude was injury prone and always hurt himself just before playoffs every year. I was super glad the Grizzlies took him off our hands (in what is quite possibly the WORST free agent signing of all time)
NO NO, Pacers best signing is BY FAR, Pascal, we didn’t extend him we waited for him to become a free agent and sign him. Brogdon got us Nesmith which I’ll always love him for, but we are a small market, Pascal is the only answer
As a mavs fan, by far the best free agent we've had is derrick jones jr this season. he was so good for only being on a vet minimum.
I wish what he did for you he did in Portland haha
This is insane

You need to reread the title of the video
Freddy technically a free agent signing for the raptors.
Timofey Mosgov better be making an appearance

Agreed. The Grindfather was a huge part of the grit and grind grizzlies.
Isaiah Joe was a great pickup for the Thunder.
I think Kenrich Williams was a part of a trade… Isaiah Joe was an insane pickup

you guys traded for him bro 💀
@@dathug8303 in the last year of his contract, we just re-signed him a few days ago. he was technically an UFA
Should do best and worst trades for every team
Since 2010 or all-time?
Would probably have to be all time he did a 2010 one recently@@adammartin5866
You should do the best undrafted rookie from each team since 2010
Per usual a banger 🔥
By far the best part of this analysis was seeing Matt hit the tiger fist pump at MSG
Low key it would have been really funny to have your thumbnail be 3 split pics of Lebron being signed to the Heat, Cavs and Lakers. Love the vids buddy.
You should do this video but for best (and worst) trade for every team since 2010.

Raptors oooffphhh - maybe next summer they finally get someone notable - probably a canadian or international player
I agree with lebron to Miami but if we’re talking pure signing Jimmy gets love 2 finals and yes it was a loss but in terms of pure free agency he takes the cake

iirc Kenrich Williams was apart of the Steven Adams trade so he shouldn’t count
Kenrich Williams was part of the Steven Adams trade
Blazers best signing since 2010 lowkey might be Carmelo Anthony haha
Orlando had sign and trade for R.lewis 5 yr 100+
❤️ the tan line 🤣
You should do the same thing but trades

i’m choosing eric gordon over dwight howard
what about james harden
Love this!
man, looks like you went to the beach at the end. That tan.
Vince Carter!!!!
I waited this whole video for Dallas, and I have to make the pick
Yeah okay

Pacers is David west
Isiah Joe for the Thunder?
Who are these dudes and why are they making more than caitlin clark
Do mavs win with Brunson over bos
We here💪🏾💪🏾
Again using that same Brunson pic in the thumbnail as if none other exist online lol
Vince
Should’ve used lebron once
why? he was the best free agent for the heat, lakers, and Cavs during the 2010's
Hating
Kawhi????
for mavs is klay
NO NO, Pacers best signing is BY FAR, Pascal, we didn’t extend him we waited for him to become a free agent and sign him. Brogdon got us Nesmith which I’ll always love him for, but we are a small market, Pascal is the only answer
How is GS not Steph Curry for 4YR/44M? He was earning 11M for that unanimous MVP season…
Ooooff magic
