I am an OKC fan, and I don't know if they are going to win it all or even make the Finals. That is very hard for any team to do. But they gave Dallas all they wanted in the playoffs last season and the Mavs got to the Finals. OKC's main weakness was that Giddey did not fit, and they replaced him with one of the best two-way role players in the league in Caruso. Their other issue was a lack of size against certain teams (which hurt them against Dallas too) and they added Hartenstein to address that, and he is also a very good two-way player. I don't think that there is a deeper team in the league currently (Boston is the closest), and they are so young that you would expect someone to make leap this year, whether it's Holmgren, Jalen Williams, Cason Wallace or someone else. Obviously SGA is the engine, and I think most people would agree that he is a top 5 player in the world at this point.
I dont agree with your rankings. If its a ranking that can win in the playoffs and win the championship then your top 8 , phoenix , lakers and clippers if kawhi is somehow healhty in the playoffs has a chance to win. You rank rockets and pelicans that has no chance whatsoever to win it all. Clippers would atleast have a chance if kawhi is healthy
@@CarsonCarpenter-c6x let's break it down. Denver has no depth anymore, Ja is going to take some adjusting after taking a full year off, Indiana is decent but that's about it, Orlando is a notch below them, Milwaukee will choke because they have nothing after Giannis and Dame, and Philly is not exactly guaranteed to work. Meanwhile Minnesota has ANT, Julius Randle, Donte, Rudy, and a ton of bench depth. Only team I see beating them in the Western standings is OKC. Minnesota is easily a 55-win team.
Knicks are about the same for me with or without KAT. KAT is a good offensive weapon to have but his defense is practically nonexistent, certainly not as good as Hartenstein or Randle. Knicks will put up points but won't do much defensively.
Celtics bench is better. Their best players are just hitting their prime. If Porzingis is part of this equation they have no other rank but 1 for right now.
i do think okc is a top team and definitely got better, but the celtics are still the clear favorite. last year for okc was an anomaly, considering the whole roster had career years with no injuries at all, and they still got bounced out of the playoffs by an injured luka, who's on a team that also got better. the experience will have been good for them, but this year will be the real test.
I think you're wrong about the Clippers. JVG is clearly showing his skillset with the defense and the Clippers have the longest active winning season streak in the NBA. Losing Paul George is going to end up being an addition by subtraction situation.
As a long time wolves fan it’s still so surreal to me to hear people talk so positively about them, having ANT, being a legit contender, etc. It doesn’t feel real lol

Celtics should definitely be one. You literally said you were ranking based on chances of making to finals/winning a championship. Although there’s a case to be made for okc being a better team, Celtics have way more playoff experience. That’s wack
The number 1 seed in the west, a team with zero playoff experience, got significantly better over the offseason and that somehow makes them overrated. Okay

What they did was replace their worst starter with the best role player in the league. Additionally, they addressed their biggest weakness of size and rebounding with hartenstein. They are the deepest/versatile team in the league and don’t have one negative defender in their rotation.
@@kylecoimbra6027 so the games are won in the offseason? is that what you're saying? they lost in the second round, i don't care about the off season, on no planet are they ahead of the Celtics. So in this case, they are being overrated.
ranking the thunder #1 is just trying to be an "i'm trying to act different gimmick" if u wanna predict the Thunder being the champions next season that's fine but give respect to the team that just won a championship with the #1 offensive rating in NBA history, the #4 highest net rating of all time, and having 5 all-star caliber players on 1 team, the 2023-2024 Boston Celtics has arguments for being a top 10-15 team of all time and you're putting the thunder above them, have some respect
The Hawks are an interesting team. Because they have the talent to be a top 3-4 team, but the mindset will have them likely in the play-in. They don't got that dog in them. Maybe with ZR & Jalen they can get it.
How lol. The team last year wasn’t even supposed to be a playoff team and they ended up as the 1 seed😂😂😂 you’re either a salty Sonics fan or brain dead
If we're talking regular season wins, give me the Celtics and then Thunder, but if we're talking who has the best chance to win the championship this season, then give me Celtics as the front-runners, with Dallas, Denver, Knicks, 76ers, and Suns all having similar chances at dethroning them. I still don't believe in OKC as as much in the playoffs, and I think the Wolves overachieved last season and won't be able to replicate their WCF run.
Watch for my Raptors. We've Scottie, IQ, RJ, Dick, Mitchel, Boucher, Poeltl, and our coach is a genius. Just pat attention. Don't tell in 3 months that Toronto is the "surprise" of the season. We know what we have.
Knicks above the Wolves and especially OKC over Boston is BOLD, ngl. Boston didn't just win, they made it look easy all year. OKC lost to Dallas 4-2 in the 2nd round, didn't even make the finals. Does Alex Caruso and Hartenstein really put them above the Celtics?? Could happen, but I wouldn't put money on it. Either way, enjoyed the video.
not having the celtics at no.1 is just copium. Which team wants to beat THIS team in a best of seven series? They are stacked on every position with Kristaps Porzingis now being recovered (hopefully it stays like that), not losing any key player from last season and still got some good depth in the offseason. Plus Steve Kerr didnt play Tatum at the Olympics and didnt even took Brown with him. They will have a villain season.
All the absolute CASUALS putting OKC on this pedestal like they won the title last season 🤣! Boys got exited 2nd round and they won’t get further this year either!!! I’m a Mavs fan but Boston should 100000% be #1. They’re the team to beat!
i do think the hornets and the bulls need more satisfaction as charlotte, are set to have alot of good picks in the upcoming drafts, they have a healthy melo who is just, lamelo ball and the bulls have so much depth there so defensively tight.
Porzingis is banged up until he isn't. They basically won the championship without him. With him OK City and the not ready for prime time crew have little chance-if they get that far. Wielding a Team vs getting a collection of talented individuals is important - and the Celtics have that now.
As a Celtic’s fan I fee we should be one just on a respect factor, being the reigning champs and all. But having said that I do think they’re better on paper (OKC) so I won’t be too upset lol
@@patrickwilson9829 shai>>>>>> Holiday Brown >>>>>>>>> Dort Tatum >>>>>>>>>>> Jay Williams Porzings >>>>>>>>> Chat White >>>>>>>>>>> Caruso No my friend the C's have more experience and talent too
You should redo some of these takes right before the season. I agree with all of your 30-21 takes, but I feel you put the Warriors and Lakers a bit too high (Lakers being the 7 seed ahead of the Kings and Pelicans is wild considering outside of LeBron and AD they dont have much, the Lakers have not been beating the Kings and Pelicans either as of late alongside lacking the raw talent). The Dame-Giannis duo should be much much better considering Dame has been working out, they added more defence to the roster, both players have actually finally gotten an offseason to prepare unlike last year, Dame is no longer going through personal issues like last year, and Doc Rivers got to hire his own coaching staff. The Bucks are a lot better this year. The Mavericks are very very good but I think the Timberwolves have more of what it takes because the Timberwolves have the better team build. Outside of Luka and Kyrie, the Mavericks suffer in terms of depth and even their stars are lackluster defensively. The Timberwolves have the better defensive lineup and I think itll show (last year the Timberwolves under preformed losing to the Mavericks in 5, I think the Timberwolves have a better chance of beating the Nuggets, Thunder etc than the Mavs too if all teams are playing at their best). The Sixers havent shown anything, have a very top heavy injury prone lineup, lack bench depth and recent reports state Embiid and PG wont be playing back-to-back games (15) this season. This gives them a really high chance of falling to play-in tuornament again this year and a first round matchup against the Celtics or Knicks especially considering they may not be at full health will be bad for them. The Celtics have the experience, the lineup and the raw talent. They are better defensively, offensively and have more options than the Thunder this year at least. The Celtics should be a clear number 1, with the Thunder trailing at 2. I would have ranked the teams like this. Also given that this ranking is championship likelihood, the east teams have a better chance as the west is more competitive in skill level while the East only really has the Celtics and possibly the Knicks to fear. This is why for this list in specific, I would put the Knicks and Bucks higher than the Nuggets, Mavericks and Timberwolves, because although they may not be as good of a team, they have a higher chance of beating the teams in their respective conferences. 30. Nets 29. Trail Blazers 28. Wizards 27. Jazz 26. Pistons 25. Raptors 24. Bulls 23. Hornets 22. Hawks 21. Spurs 20. Clippers 19. Warriors 18. Rockets 17. Heat 16. Lakers 15. Pelicans 14. Magic 13. Kings 12. Cavaliers 11. Pacers 10. Grizzlies 09. Suns 08. Sixers 07. Nuggets 06. Mavericks 05. Timberwolves 04. Bucks 03. Knicks 02. Thunder 01. Celtics
Well right after this video KAT got traded to the Knicks so that changes a lot... but I agree OKC has the best young and healthy roster right now... I think the OKC will play the Mavs and the Celtics will play the Knicks in the conference finals, but we will see. West 1. OKC 2. Mavs 3. Timberwolves 4. Nuggets 5. Suns 6. Grizzlies 7. Kings 8. Lakers 9. Pelicans 10. Warriors East 1. Celtics 2. Knicks 3. 76ers 4. Bucks 5. Pacers 6. Magic 7. Cavaliers 8. Heat 9. Hawks 10. Raptors
The Rockets have a TON of talent. A great bench with depth to rest people and pick up the slack from injuries. And they have gone from 19th best record in the league last year to............ 19th best this year. Sure bro sure
I think the people sleeping on Cleveland are going to come to regret it by the end of the season. Not saying they'll win the whole thing, but they may be in the ECF this season. Mobley is already showing improvement across the board, Darius Garland is going to take a step up, and now with the contract distraction no longer a factor, Donovan Mitchell is going to dominate. Oh and they have the guy that helped transform both Randle and Brunson in New York in Johnnie Bryant. Kenny Atkinson and Johnnie Bryant on the same coaching staff is going to be bonkers. Also, while you may not be so quick to dismiss LeBron, I will. I don't see the Lakers finishing higher than 8th in the West. There are just too many talented and loaded teams in the west and, aside from an injury-prone AD and an aging LeBron, who on the Lakers will be able to step up if needed? And I do think the KAT trade will benefit New York but they're not getting as close to the ECF as they did last year. Not a chance. 4-2 second round, sure. Milwaukee will flame out in the playoffs as they usually do because Doc Rivers. And if not for the fact that they have to put up with the guy holding their franchise hostage not bothering to show up for work other than for his offseason Instagram videos, Brooklyn may be investigated by the NBA for intentionally tanking. But because it's Ben Simmons, I'm sure Adam Silver will give them a pass. This time.
I agree with mostly everything, except I believe Chris Paul and Stephon Castle (R) are going to give Wemby enough help to compete for a playoff spot, also I think the opposite of Sochan tbh, he can come off the bench, SAS should be ranked above some teams fs Stephon Castle imo will be a top 3 rookie, Zach Edey will probably be 1st, and either Risacher or Sarr might be 2nd, the other probably 4th, Reed Sheppard can have 5th ig lol (HOU just seems too full of young talent for Sheppard to have many chances, at least this year)

@@knownasking7607 Agreed. Reaves, Lebron and AD were mostly ok but the rest were banged up throughout. Vando barely played. And Darvin was perpetually testing different lineups to add to the instability. Consistency and stability will be big change for them.
@@knownasking7607lakers are horrible, wasted a 2nd round pick on Brony! Ridiculous
Kings will be way better this season, and they can potentially get in the 50 win column. LeBron and Davis will just have to settle for the Play-In rounds.
I did a calculation of his prediction to the actual results of every NBA Teams of 2023-2024.
He ranked Grizzlies at his No. 9 but Grizzlies was actually did No. 26 at the end of regular season, the deviation was 17 places.
And this guys made a huge deviation range of 5.8 averagely for each and every team.
The second largest deviation range he made not so surprised was the LAL with 14 places.
Guess what this guys only just wants our Likes for his video.
Only thing I would say thank you to him was he ranked my Hawks higher than they did in 2023-2024.
Enjoy the evening fellas. Thanks.
The Grizzlies have Ja Morant back this season. If his head is in the game, they will be much, much better than last season.

2. Okc
3. Dallas

17:49 the Knicks have no center… how are they over the sixers 😂
Bro when we’re healthy we better than y’all. Can y’all rely on embid and George to be healthy in the playoffs and regular season. I think ya may need to time manage embid games limit like no back to back and try to keep him in shape until April that’s my opinion. If ya want to have a chance vs the Knicks and celtucs we beat ya last we both didn’t have our main players ya did but embid scored 50 so technically he was healthy but yeah Knicks better 😂😂😂
@@NoahBiniam-li4br he wasn’t healthy. If you watch the games you would know. The fact yall be excited he scored 50 while injured is insane 😂worry about yall soft center that’s bout to miss half the season before it even start 😂😂… o yea and yall best defender OG is injury prone too. So if injuries are the only factor, I like us lol. We have 3 of the best 4 players in a series against yall lol, and we have the best player by FAR
@@robertrock16 bro nobody could trust Joel embid to be healthy and Paul George as well fuck you mean ya might have to play embid like 60 games and hope for th Best don’t worry about us we will prove ya wrong again injured for ya are more impactful than our injured. Ya have arguably the best player In the world and he can’t stay healthy. Ya have depth that are mad old players we have depth of young players we better than y’all let the playoffs do the talking
@@NoahBiniam-li4br all it take is one time. Giannis was an iron man and he only played 2 playoff games in the past 2 seasons. I’m never gonna assume somebody gon get hurt. But you obviously don’t know our roster. We got champions lol. If you telling me somebody like Tyler kolek and sims gon be more impactful than Reggie Jackson and Drummond you got it lol
Mitchell Robinson?
Btw, need also to point out his disrespectful for teams like OKC, Wolves and Pelicans to rank them so low in his 2023-2024 video.
OKC were named at No. 18, but SGA brought this team to No. 2 at the real rank.
He ranked Wolves at No. 16,but we all know what happen later Wolves was so good at No.3 Overall Ranking.
He also ranked Pelicans at No. 17,yet Pels got the No. 6 place in win-loss results in 2023-2024.
Nonetheless,I still thank him for ranking my Hawks higher in his prediction chart. Until then.
Enjoy the evening fellas.
Top 5: 1.Celtics 2.Thunder 3.Dallas 4.Minnesota 5.Denver/Sixers
1.Celtics 2 OKC 3 Denver 4 and 5 are knicks and 76ers if they can stay healthy 6 dalles if there defence needs to be top 10
Kinda agree with this ranking. For the regular season at least. Playoffs is just unpredictable at times.
1 Boston
2 Thunder
3 kincks
4 nuggets
5 grizzlies
6 mavs

Minnesota will be better than most of the teams on that list. Bet.
@@RaulSmith how do you no that
@@CarsonCarpenter-c6x let's break it down. Minnesota is easily a 55-win team.
lol it's so funny watching everyone pretend Cleveland doesn't exist, while they're in the process of owning every team they play
Washington really traded Advija for because he’s from Israel😭
You can be deep which will help with injuries or a long season. What it comes down to is your top 6 or 7 players.
The questions about Bronny's game have now been brutally answered. Thanks, dad.
Would you put the Knicks higher now that they have Kat?
Haha KAT is toilet paper soft
Knicks are about the same for me with or without KAT. KAT is a good offensive weapon to have but his defense is practically nonexistent, certainly not as good as Hartenstein or Randle. Knicks will put up points but won't do much defensively.
Would you change Minnesota and the Knicks after the trade?
Watch Tristan da Silva appear in the race for ROTY and help the Magic a ton in the regular season
DaSilva might get like 16 minutes a night, how is he gonna be top 5 in ROTY?
On another team maybe but ain't he a sf? He ain't getting enough minutes over our players
The knicks bias is crazy
Curious to see how the Kat/Randle trade shakes these rankings
Agreed
Randle and KAT Trade
Im a laker fan and hate boston, but how is boston not over the thunder
Shoutout to SROS for the OKC respect
It will be exciting to Watch Philly, Knicks and Mavs after the trades they’ve made
Having Celtics anywhere but 1 is a war crime. This is one of the greatest teams of all time
So where would you put the wolves and Knicks now after the trade
16:28 smh missed opportunity to say mile high confidence
Celtics bench is better. Their best players are just hitting their prime. If Porzingis is part of this equation they have no other rank but 1 for right now.
OKC is the most overrated team to never even have made it to a finals, it's becoming very sus now
Yep will be watching another failed Season where they will be knocked out in first or second round. After that OKC fans will brag youngest first seed
Celtics and the Mavericks will be better than them this season
SGA overrated
i do think okc is a top team and definitely got better, but the celtics are still the clear favorite. last year for okc was an anomaly, considering the whole roster had career years with no injuries at all, and they still got bounced out of the playoffs by an injured luka, who's on a team that also got better. the experience will have been good for them, but this year will be the real test.
You dont have to make it to the finals to be the number 1 seed. What's so sus about that?
I think you're wrong about the Clippers. JVG is clearly showing his skillset with the defense and the Clippers have the longest active winning season streak in the NBA. Losing Paul George is going to end up being an addition by subtraction situation.
The Celtics should be 1. The Thunder are def a top 3 team in the nba but they aren’t better than Boston. Give the defending champs some credit
As a long time wolves fan it’s still so surreal to me to hear people talk so positively about them, having ANT, being a legit contender, etc. It doesn’t feel real lol
He's a great player. But he's unlucky luka exists😊
This makes no sense the champions deserves the benefit of the doubt
Twolves at five in a crime there miles ahead of the knicks
Last time they played the Knicks smoked them 🤷🏻♂️
Oh my gosh I can’t believe the actual Sros responded to my comment, anyway there miles ahead of them but the Knicks are lacking big man now compared to the Twolves since Hartenstein left I think Mikel Bridges will be a good impact but who knows they should go pretty fare this year

Where would u put the Knicks now?
forever grateful for thunder trading away jre, it was pretty rough in that area when chet was injured. Cant believe we got caruso AND hartenstein + plus got rid or giddey!
its looking great for okcity
Celtics should definitely be one. You literally said you were ranking based on chances of making to finals/winning a championship. Although there’s a case to be made for okc being a better team, Celtics have way more playoff experience. That’s wack
Ok so now after the KAT trade...?
ok, OKC is being widely overrated now. This is getting ridiculous lol
The number 1 seed in the west, a team with zero playoff experience, got significantly better over the offseason and that somehow makes them overrated. Okay
Ur absolutely delusional bro, u obviously don’t watch OKC basketball at all, plz watch Thunder basketball before u ever comment again
@@Zrj19 number 1 over the Celtics? No. What the fuck have they done to get out over the champions? And I say this as a Dallas fan, they should never be over the Celtics on any list.
@@itzhakira5022I’m a Thunder fan and I agree they shouldn’t be over the Celtics. However you say “what have they done?”, like they haven’t massive improved this off season 😂.

#1 bench id say is okc, then wolves
ranking the thunder #1 is just trying to be an "i'm trying to act different gimmick" if u wanna predict the Thunder being the champions next season that's fine but give respect to the team that just won a championship with the #1 offensive rating in NBA history, the #4 highest net rating of all time, and having 5 all-star caliber players on 1 team, the 2023-2024 Boston Celtics has arguments for being a top 10-15 team of all time and you're putting the thunder above them, have some respect
Best nba RUclipsr rn
Okc is still too SGA centric, if he doesn’t go off foul hunting the team loses. Their second option is really a number 3.
Hey Matt what is your best case vs worst case scenario for the Hornets this season?
The Hawks are an interesting team. Because they have the talent to be a top 3-4 team, but the mindset will have them likely in the play-in. They don't got that dog in them. Maybe with ZR & Jalen they can get it.
We haven’t seen a team go back to back in a long time? It just happened in 2019 you said seconds later. That’s really recent.
OKC is so overrated man
How so? They upgraded by a heavy amount this offseason and JDub + Chet will only get better
How lol. The team last year wasn’t even supposed to be a playoff team and they ended up as the 1 seed😂😂😂 you’re either a salty Sonics fan or brain dead
How please tell me me there young players are just gonna get better and we added Caruso an Isaiah hartenstein
@@garretttank1711thank you bro a lot of these brain dead nba fans don’t get this and it’s not even hard to comprehend 😂
6:13 Hornets coach name is Charles Lee*
If we're talking regular season wins, give me the Celtics and then Thunder, but if we're talking who has the best chance to win the championship this season, then give me Celtics as the front-runners, with Dallas, Denver, Knicks, 76ers, and Suns all having similar chances at dethroning them. I still don't believe in OKC as as much in the playoffs, and I think the Wolves overachieved last season and won't be able to replicate their WCF run.
The nba needs to set the rosters at least 25 players, and add 4 more teams.’the nba is to stacked we need players to get a chance
Watch for my Raptors. We've Scottie, IQ, RJ, Dick, Mitchel, Boucher, Poeltl, and our coach is a genius. Just pat attention. Don't tell in 3 months that Toronto is the "surprise" of the season. We know what we have.
I’d like to see how the trade changes this between 2 of your top 5 teams
The Grizzlies look like a very strong team with Ja coming back, they look like great contenders to look out for this season!
Playoff contenders
Knicks above the Wolves and especially OKC over Boston is BOLD, ngl. Boston didn't just win, they made it look easy all year. OKC lost to Dallas 4-2 in the 2nd round, didn't even make the finals. Does Alex Caruso and Hartenstein really put them above the Celtics?? Could happen, but I wouldn't put money on it.
Either way, enjoyed the video.
Yes hartenstien and Caruso do Okc fixed all there problems and they will/should be better than Celtics
Miami over Rockets?
not having the celtics at no.1 is just copium.
You didn't mention Yuki for Memphis that lil dude been going crazy
All the absolute CASUALS putting OKC on this pedestal like they won the title last season 🤣! Boys got exited 2nd round and they won’t get further this year either!!! I’m a Mavs fan but Boston should 100000% be #1. They’re the team to beat!
i do think the hornets and the bulls need more satisfaction as charlotte, are set to have alot of good picks in the upcoming drafts, they have a healthy melo who is just, lamelo ball and the bulls have so much depth there so defensively tight.
Everyone is underestimating the lakers
Knick’s just got KAT 😬
5 years isn’t that long for teams that won getting back to the finals… tuff take
Is KCP seriously worth 6 spots
Porzingis is banged up until he isn't. They basically won the championship without him. With him OK City and the not ready for prime time crew have little chance-if they get that far. Wielding a Team vs getting a collection of talented individuals is important - and the Celtics have that now.
SAC with demar is surely top 10 bro!!!
lakers above the kings is criminal!!
Suns should be 1

Love seeing it as an OKC fan but god I really hoped for people write us off more - expectations are sky high now lol.
As a Celtic’s fan I fee we should be one just on a respect factor, being the reigning champs and all. But having said that I do think they’re better on paper (OKC) so I won’t be too upset lol

Not even mad at the #2 ranking cause I think you had Celtics #1 last year after the Nuggets won the title lol.
But also the Celtics added KP and Jrue and were obviously better
The Nuggets didn’t win 64 games and go 16-3 in the playoffs

The Rockets have a TON of talent. A great bench with depth to rest people and pick up the slack from injuries. And they have gone from 19th best record in the league last year to............ 19th best this year. Sure bro sure
This popped up in my feed today. Hmmm 26 - 4 Cavaliers. Like my Vikings in the NFL. I did not see this happening.
bro got my raptors as the 5th worst team in the league sighhh
I think the Raps are gonna be a better team than expected this year.
This time.
I agree with mostly everything, except I believe Chris Paul and Stephon Castle (R) are going to give Wemby enough help to compete for a playoff spot, also I think the opposite of Sochan tbh, he can come off the bench, SAS should be ranked above some teams fs
Stephon Castle imo will be a top 3 rookie, Zach Edey will probably be 1st, and either Risacher or Sarr might be 2nd, the other probably 4th, Reed Sheppard can have 5th ig lol (HOU just seems too full of young talent for Sheppard to have many chances, at least this year)
Bucks over Nuggets. Bucks upgraded their depth this year, while Nuggets lost depth
I think we will see Celtics-Mavs finals rematch this year.
