@@jaycob1830 Yeah, and most people doubted they could make it out of the east, or that Kawhi would even lower himself to suit up for Toronto in the first place. After they lost game 1 to Orlando on the highlight of DJ Augustin’s career, many people doubted they would make it past Nikola Vucevic, never mind Giannis, Embiid, or Curry. That 76ers team was pretty talented, they could’ve won the championship even if KD was healthy. The Raptors were the best team in the league that year, loaded with all-stars up and down the roster and every player had a lot to prove. They were gonna win the championship either way and I just wish it wasn’t classified as Kawhi’s miracle solo run due to injuries and that’s all it will ever be known as when it was so much more than that. It was literally the beginning of a new era, maybe the most important championship of all time

@@prestigev6131 Raptors earned the championship, but it was the 73 win team without the entire bench, starting SF, and Klay for a game and a half, plus a worse Iguodala and Draymond.
People give Kawhi too much credit for that championship. If Toronto doesn’t trade for Marc Gasol, or if both Siakam and Lowry don’t play like the all-stars they were when it matters most, the Raptors would lose to Philadelphia or Milwaukee. Danny Green and Serge Ibaka played great that whole season, and Fred VanVleet became a bonafide star the day his son was born. That was an extremely talented team. The 30 or so games Kawhi sat out that year, they had a better winning percentage than the games that he played. It’s like when people say Ray Allen bailed LeBron out, or how Kobe was nothing without a secondary star. It takes a great team for one player to be in a position to succeed in the first place. You think if you remove LeBron from the Miami Heat, Ray Allen still hits that shot? Ray Allen would’ve gone fishing by June if LeBron didn’t play for his team. Although LeBron would still be there without Ray Allen, but not without Wade and Bosh. There’s levels to this

@@joelweekes2617 true but we winning this year anyway aswell
@@joelweekes2617you also realize the warriors were already a dynasty in 2019 tho
@@joelweekes2617so the dynasty ended in 2023 not 19 lmao
@sojachrist yeah what ever the west is too strong.
Insane championship run by the raptors, I remember watching every game of this playoffs and especially this nba finals live.
Raptors fans were so happy when KD tore his ACL. I've never heard a basketball crowd cheer so loud for a player's devastating injury. Then when Klay got hurt, they were even happier.
Any fanbase would cheer when the championship just became guaranteed, but they were gonna win it anyway sooooo…
@@saul-goodman🧢🧢🧢🧢and if KD or klay doesn’t get hurt that series is over in 5
@@Newportnews98 Well Klay went down in game 6 so if you’re saying the Raptors could compete with the 73-9 Warriors, I take that as a compliment
@@saul-goodmanthe 73-9 warriors are overrated, they just had a mentality to “win every game”. They were a great team, but the 2017-2019 warriors were much much better. I have no doubt this raptors team would beat that warriors team 73-9. If KD didn’t get re-injured in game 5, I doubt the raptors win the series
It was literally the beginning of a new era, maybe the most important championship of all time
Amazing story telling and editing.

I appreciate the support man thank you
if warriors weren’t hobbled they would swept 🧹
True but I hate how people act like Toronto didn’t earn the championship because of the injuries. Golden State without KD was a 73 win team, it’s not like the injuries suffered in the finals turned the warriors into scrubs
@@prestigev6131 they also lost klay
@@prestigev6131 Raptors earned the championship, but it was the 73 win team without the entire bench, starting SF, and Klay for a game and a half, plus a worse Iguodala and Draymond.
Well they didn't sweep so no point in talking about what ifs
Nah raptors would’ve took a game fs 2019 Kawhi was different
Superb video, the editing is fantastic as well as the imagery and music. Well done!
thankyouuuu
There’s levels to this
Did you not see the Philly and bucks series there were games Kawhi was carrying the load on offense
@@pleaseshutup7053 If Lowry didn’t average 20/5/5 in the ECF and the secondary scorer was 14 ppg, do the Raptors still beat Milwaukee? Of course not, that’s ridiculous
@@saul-goodman Lowry was horrible in the Philly series and siakam was horrible in the bucks series. Kawhi was the constant putting on a Jordan level performance that’s why he gets the credit. But it’s a team sport obviously you cannot win alone. The difference in why they won the title was Kawhi giving the legendary performances that is why he gets the credit don’t be dense. The superstar gets credit when they win and blame win they lose. Unless you are kd or lebron then his fanboys bring up their stats when they lose
@@pleaseshutup7053 LeBron is actually an exception to the rule. His team has been a contender for 20 years simply because they have LeBron. The 2018 Cavs are worse than the 2012 Bobcats or 2016 Sixers without LeBron playing the greatest playoff basketball in the history of the NBA, but I personally don’t credit or blame just one man for any playoff success. Except LeBron. The 2018 Cavs are a G-League team with him.
@@saul-goodman 2018 Cavs are worse than 2012 bobcats while they had all star Kevin love. A lebron fan boy I see your comments make sense now. It’s always lebron fan boys hating on Kawhi
Absolutely amazing editing here
Bro change the title of this video, the 2019 Finals only put the Warriors dynasty on ice for 3 years and if Klay KD Iggy, Looney are 100% healthy. Toronto gets swept and embarrassed in their own building . The Warriors core have never lost a Finals where Steph, Klay and Dray play in every game, they are 4-0
Someone likes the warriors a bit too much
ive learned a lot ball knowledge in this one video. keep it up bruv. you have gotten a new subscriber
I truly hate this finals because the warriors would have 3peated and stayed together klay missed 2 straight seasons and if they were fully healthy it was a wrap for the raptors and the entire world knows it
Get over it kid 😭 greedy ahh bastard
Get healthier players instead of the cast brothers
The editing in this vid is top tier
