This was such an unexpected championship run, considering how Brooklyn and then Phoenix were just EXPECTED to beat the Bucks. Plus dropping 50 points to the end 50 year championship drought is both symbolic and just cool asf lol
Imo this the real Mickey Mouse chip, everyone was injured and the suns run was already proved to be a fluke after getting torched by Luka doncic the next year
Do you seriously think a healthy Nets team wouldn't have beat the Bucks given the fact that KD almost singlehandedly carried them to a series win after Kyrie and Harden got hurt?
Yeah I forgive the suns. Devin booker just kept being a crybaby which made the games go by really slow while all of us were nervous at home.. sorry about Chris Paul not winning his championship but this one was really important to everyone over here in Milwaukee😢 my moms best friend who is a nice person texted my mom like “Devin booker keeps whining like a little b**ch!” 😂😂
As someone who the Mavs are my 2nd team- Luka Doncic is devin booker father lmfao, the Sons don’t deserve any success. I’m glad Milwaukee got their ring & Booker got embarrassed even more by Luka the following year
2021 and 2023 were some of my favorite NBA finals in recent time cuz Giannis and Jokic were able to silence all the unfair doubt and hate that they got
Nah 2022 Finals: CELTICS game 1 comeback, Warriors game 2 retaliation, Celtics dominant Game 3, Curry materclass in Game 4, Wiggins masterclass in Game 5 and Curry show in Game 6, you literally had everything in this series
As a Nigerian, I felt so happy for Giannis. 3 Nigerians have been finals MVP ..Dream, Iggy and Giannis. So happy for the Greek Freak after so much criticisms. I hope James Harden wins a chip ..if not ..he will really regret not being 7 feet and not able to jump
Let's not forget, yes it was Chris Paul's best shot at winning an NBA Championship. But if he had been traded to the Warriors in the 2021 off season, he could have won a chip with Golden State in 2022. He'll retire without winning one as nobody expects San Antonio to contend let alone win another championship for a while
🔥🔥I Happy giannis antetokounmpo wins nba Championship at nba finals in 2021. Nba Finals 2016 Great Games warrior vs Cleveland cavaliers back then 2010s decade
as someone who started watching the nba last postseason, i know it might be seen as “casual” to mainly watch for a narrative instead of rooting for a team. but man am i a sucker for a good story behind incredible feats of athleticism. it makes every play feel so much more important. i really like how you point out key moments and specific runs. i feel like i can live the hype of these moments that i wasnt there for. another great video!!
Another great video. Really great job capturing all the emotions that revolved during that time, and the epilogue shot where you showed the videos of a young Giannis and his rise to MVP. Phenomenal. The way you describe the turning points of every game is something I've never seen.
I wanted to see Giannis win one so bad. What an electric serious. On top of that, I was at the local pool before game 1 and someone was wearing a Booker jersey and I told him I liked it. He just said “cool” instead of a thanks and I responded with “bucks in 6” that was dope hahah
I was watching this series when I was working out west and watching Giannis in game 6 was crazy also after game 2 I remember jrue holiday and khris Middleton smiling after being down 2-0 and after one was clowning them boy’s

Im just getting back into basketball and the NBA since like 2019 and bro your videos are AMAZING like perfectly done, literally only thing I wish you'd change was for it to be longer cuz they're so good man, keep it up!
Milwaukee was manic bro there were so many people outside of the stadium watching tvs displayed on the street, imagine driving to Milwaukee to stand outside for an nba game at 7:00-10:00 and stay for the ceremony past 12am.. it was July 20th so the weather was probably nice but people walked and couldn’t get out of there and had to stand with everyone jumping and screaming around and somehow no one got shot or trampled at that barrel shaped stadium 🫣 MILWAUKEEEEEEEEEE and it was for game 5 and 6!
I love the recent videos and they got me hooked from start till finish. But they're starting to seem like the same one every time. I'd love to see you mix it up next vid to tell the story a different way.
Have you thought about covering Bad Boy Pistons and how they were one controversial play away from Three Peating 88-90? I'd love to try and help with some older stories if I can. Want to break into NBA journalism anyway I can.
As a newer-age fan of the NBA, I also really love the older lore and it started with the MJ Doc, would love to see more content like that, esp. bout Zeke

13:14 "Suns have a timeout, decide not to call it". Have they call it, perhaps they would have designed a different play and Booker would have not rushed the ball to a point Jrue was able to sneak for a steal that turned into a Giannis 3pt play dunk
This was also kinda disappointing for Giannis because after he wins it everyone thought he was the next face of NBA, going to NBA Finals and winning it, trading Jrue was a mistake
I mean I’d still say he’s a face of the nba lol it’s just the bucks aren’t a dynasty but if u think about the nba currently u prolly think Shai luka ant Giannis etc
At the end of the day, a win is a win, regardless if Covid was in existence or not. And let's not act as if Giannis didn't deliver a ring to the Bucks franchise. If he's planning to leave, then I would be happy that the city of Milwaukee at least not left empty handed

@@Mr_Tornado95 the NBA’s Finals mini movies are really the key to the videos, and they only go back to 2010 or 2009. anything from there to now are my options.
It’s funny how people try to say the Hawks run was a fluke when Phoenix played injured teams all the way up to the finals. Hawks were underdogs every series.
One thing you didn't mention when talking about the 2021 postseason was that every team Phoenix faced was injured. They didn't prove they were serious by beating a Lakers squad that had Anthony Davis in crutches, or sweeping Denver without Jamal Murray, and being taken to 6 games by the Clippers JV squad + Paul George. They definitely got extremely lucky that year and that gets completely overlooked
