If he plays the 65G I’d be pretty shocked if he missed it, and he’ll try to get to that number for sure…but he’s about to be 40 so you never know. They do need him tho, unless they make some big trade they’re gonna need LBJ to play like 65-68G, 33-34MPG, and put up say 24-25p/7.1-7.3reb/7.3-7.5assts/1-1.2stls/0.5blks or so. I expect his 2P% to still be super high, maybe low attempts like last yr (12.8) but he’s at 59.3% 2P his last 500GP. 36% 3P on 5.9att, and he’s been around 75% FT the last 3y. So I expect more low mid 70s FT than high 60s, maybe like 74% FT on 5.5att or so. Maybe he does put up a bunch of 3s, closer to 5.5-5.8, I think it’ll depend how well he starts the year off from triple. I’m gonna assume JJ is gonna ask him to shoot them bc he shot 41% last year. If he shot 37% on like 6.3-6.5att PER 36 (so 37% on around 6att in 34MPG) I think JJ would be thrilled with that and he’d def encourage him to keep taking one 3 every 5:40 or whatever. They don’t have a ton of shooting unless Knecht and/or Christie can hold their own on DEF, AND shoot like 36, ideally 37%+ on 3.5att+ in like 20MPG… (so 6-7 PER 36) maybe Vincent can be passable from 3 at 35%+ on 4+ PER 36, they’ll need DLo to shoot well on high volume and AR well on solid volume, plus Rui shooting well again. I don’t see him shooting 42% again on 4.6att PER 36…but if he can get that volume up a bit without the % suffering massively that’s big time. Christie/Knecht will be big time swing pieces, they need one of them to be + rotation players on the wing. At least decent defense, and be able to hit 3s at a + clip. They just don’t have another 6’5 6’6 guy that can at least guard 1/2s and hit C&S 3s. I’m hesitant with rookies so I’d expect that to be Christie more than Knecht. Ideally Christie can be a solid defender and good enough shooter to get guarded, and Knecht can just not be bad on DEF and be able to get to solid 3P volume at a good clip. You gotta assume DLo is gonna shoot it well on high volume or you’re kinda f’d. They need AR to shoot it more like his last half of 50g of last season and season 2 vs first 30 or so games of last season. Like 6att P36 on 38%+. You can’t expect LBJ to shoot 40% again, but you have to get like 36-37%+ from him on 5-6att a game. Then Rui is the final swing piece to me. He shot it amazingly well last year, too well. Like there’s no reason he shouldn’t have been taking more…at least more corner 3s and more open C&S 3s. You can’t expect 42%+ from the corner, but like 39%? Maybe 35% above the break? 4.6att PER 36 is too low. You need more mins from him (like 30MPG vs 27) and ideally closer to 5.5-6att per 36 instead of 4.6att. Again 42.2% is wild, but 5, 5.5att P36 at like 38%? If he can shoot 39% from the corner, say 3.3att per game, that’s 3.861/9.9 from corner 3. Then maybe 35% above the break? Then 2.2att ATB, so 2.31/6.6. So 6.17/16.5 that’s 37.4% on 5.5att. DLo 38%+ on 8att P36 AR 38%+ on 6att P36 LeBron 37% on 5.5att P36 Rui 37% on 5-5.5att P36 Christie 36% on 3att P36 You need that bc you have no clue how Gabe will shoot. He could shoot 36-37% on 5att or like 33% on 3-4att. Knecht as a rookie could be 32% on 4att or 36% on 4att. AD you expect maybe a little higher volume. If he can shoot 34% on like 2.5att that’d be good enough. Then Hayes is a non shooter, Reddish is a bad one. You may only have 5 above average shooters. Obv you hope at least one of Knecht, Gabe, and Vando when healthy are good shooters. But even then it’s really 6 shooters and maybe only 4 that shoot above average volume for their positions. If AD can hit 34%+ on like 2.5-3att that’s like average for C and you’ll take it. But the guys who can defend are really the shooters. Vando can’t rly shoot, Gabe you’re not sure, Christie you’re not 100% sure, Knecht who knows, etc. then you badly need good volume and good shooting from those main 4-5 guys.

They were the healthiest team in the entire league last year, law of averages is an important starter or misses a pretty good amount of time. Mavs will fall off. Similar to how the Lakers went to the wcf and people were saying they were a good team after the trade deadline then fell to the 7th seed lol
Predicting a 20-straight All-NBA player to not make the team deserves a mention at least, in my opinion. But I wouldn't expect that much from a guy that trusts this Kings team in this West playoffs 😂
Tier 1 Kings Glazer, they're good but cmon..dunno if they'll beat the twolves in the playoffs but i'd love to see it happen honestly. memphis beating the nuggs also feels off..
There is absolutely no way that the Clippers are going to miss the playoffs. Yes, they'll be worse after letting Paul George walk away for nothing, but they still have James Harden, who has literally never missed the playoffs in his career. There's a reason for that.
But outside of harden and Kawhi this is not a good team. And everybody and their mother knows Kawhi ain’t playing more than 60 games. The west is way too competitive and the clippers will be lucky if they’re a play in team.
I'm worried you're right about Willie Green and it would be dumb as hell. He's literally the best coach in Pelicans history when you look at his win percentage. The Pelicans just came off the disasters of Alvin Gentry and Stan Van Gundy. If history is any indication, the chances that they get someone better than Willie Green are small.
The Cavs are a top 4 team in the East. Having them at 7 is insane. If you think Philly is gonna stay healthy enough to outperform the Cavs you’re insane. I believe it’s New York, Boston, and Milwaukee as the only real contenders in the East with Cleveland being that dark horse team.
Are u serious? He did average 35 points in that series… and that and one shot he made against oubre is all you need to know about what Brunson did to him throughout the series
Five of these awards would be going to former Kentucky players. I think Reed will win rookie of the year though and Rob Dillingham will finish 2nd with Antonio Reeves finishing 3rd and edey 4th

I think the only thing stopping the Celtics from repeating is injuries. They’re throwing the same team out there that dominated the regular season and the playoffs. Yes they had an easier road, but I just don’t see the Knicks having the depth to stay with Boston in a best of 7 series. I like OKC but I just don’t see how you can give them the best team in the league title just yet. I’d still take Dallas and Minnesota over them in the playoffs.

The best argument for Knecht winning ROTY is that Reddick is the coach. That would have to be one ridiculous carry job by curry and some underperforming for Houston like the rockets they’re just a plain better team in my eyes
How are the Timberwolves supposed to be better than the Mavericks or Nuggets when they lost Karl-Anthony Towns and replaced him with Julius Randle, an inefficient scorer?
They have better depth than the nuggets and Julius Randal isn’t as inefficient as you’re making him out to be. Is he as efficient of a shooter as KAT? No. But you’re acting like he’s wildly inefficient when that’s just not the case.
ridiculous putting the warriors so low. these rookies are fantastic, and now that klay isn’t bitching about playing time all year they’ll be able to play kuminga and moody and podzemski. warriors gonna be between 5-7 seed this year. i could see them high as 4 or low as 8 but i think they’ll be 5-6. it would’ve been an awful move to trade our rookies for a washed PG
Pelicans are very talented but there's just too many what ifs with them and for the most part the teams like that tend to not meet expectations. Zion is still a huge wild card and I'm not sold that he's gonna play enough games to qualify for all NBA. Plus their big rotation is very much concerning, they don't really have a great rebounder or interior defender and that's a big deal. Now if they can trade BI for a solid/ good starting Center than I'd be more sold on them. And they definitely need Murray to be more of that defender and playmaker like he was with the Spurs or at least close to that. Cause while they got very good a couple very good wing defenders but they also need that defensive guard next to CJ
The nets won't be able to tank it's a contract year for Simmons so he's going to be back to normal unless he gets injured or traded but no one will trust trading for him

Maybe he does put up a bunch of 3s, closer to 5.5-5.8, I think it’ll depend how well he starts the year off from triple. I’m gonna assume JJ is gonna ask him to shoot them bc he shot 41% last year.

Then 2.2att ATB, so 2.31/6.6. So 6.17/16.5 that’s 37.4% on 5.5att.
DLo 38%+ on 8att P36
AR 38%+ on 6att P36
LeBron 37% on 5.5att P36
Rui 37% on 5-5.5att P36
Christie 36% on 3att P36
You need that bc you have no clue how Gabe will shoot. He could shoot 36-37% on 5att or like 33% on 3-4att. Knecht as a rookie could be 32% on 4att or 36% on 4att. Yeah the sixers suck

Pacers beat bucks cause of injuries lmao, and Minnesota was bound to be a great upcoming young team with a new star.
Alll kings did was add a 35 year old Demar, they aren’t even gonna be better than the rockets this season, u don’t know hoops

Nah deadass bro is tweakin with that take
I almost turned off the video after that. Barring catastrophic injuries they're a top four team in the east at minimum.
You didn't predict the play-in games or NBA CUP smh....
I feel like this is a really good time to be a basketball fan. Lots of good teams and players to watch right now.
I think Paolo should get an HM for all nba. The magic can easily have a top 5 record and Paolo can put up 25-7-5
OKC had 1 good season, out in the 2nd round with 1 all star and now they are the team to beat ahead of Celtics? This is so delusional
i need an explaination for how the twolves are above the mavs when the mavs killed them in the playoffs last year, and the mavs got better, and the twolves got worse with the kat trade
dallas doesnt really care and minnesota got way deeper w DD, julius, rob, and shannon jr - the spacing is excellent imo
1-4 seed for dallas is ok to repeat i. west imo
Mavs will fall off. Similar to how the Lakers went to the wcf and people were saying they were a good team after the trade deadline then fell to the 7th seed lol

Moses Moody about to win Most Improved Player. Screen cap it.
Predicting a 20-straight All-NBA player to not make the team deserves a mention at least, in my opinion. But I wouldn't expect that much from a guy that trusts this Kings team in this West playoffs 😂
Bro is glazing okc
Mephis Glaze gotta be insane 😂
Tier 1 Kings Glazer, they're good but cmon..dunno if they'll beat the twolves in the playoffs but i'd love to see it happen honestly. memphis beating the nuggs also feels off..
There is absolutely no way that the Clippers are going to miss the playoffs. Yes, they'll be worse after letting Paul George walk away for nothing, but they still have James Harden, who has literally never missed the playoffs in his career. There's a reason for that.
They’re gonna miss them THIS YEAR
But outside of harden and Kawhi this is not a good team. And everybody and their mother knows Kawhi ain’t playing more than 60 games. The west is way too competitive and the clippers will be lucky if they’re a play in team.
@@jacobway468 Based on what?
@@stevenashbeatz5939 So I take it you HAVEN'T seen the free agents they got in the offseason. Got it.
@@guesswhonot1620 their roster? Lmao
The Warriors as the 11th seed is criminal
How exactly
Brunson was getting clamped by Kelly oubre at start of playoffs, imagine what jrue and Derrick white will do.
Okay, about the ECF. The Knicks are definitely more injury prone, and who knows if KAT is healthy by the ECF or if he pulls a WCF and choke?

Well they have little talent so……
@@SwiftiePolice They have very good talent but no depth

1.Rob Dillingham, Ke'lel Ware, And Jared McCain All Should Be Apart Of The ROTY Award Conversation
2. Sacramento Is NOT Beating Minnesota In The Playoffs Unless A Major Injury Occurs
3. Knicks Do Have Bench Depth In Landry Shamet, Precious Achiwua, Miles McBride, Tyler Kolek, Cam Payne, and Moses Brown Also Have TJ Warren & Pacome Dadiet
4. Jrue Holiday, Lu Dort, And Dejounte Murray Are All Top Defenders Should Be On Those Lists
Half of the “depth” you mentioned is trash
8:37 bro😭😭😭
I think the only thing stopping the Celtics from repeating is injuries. They’re throwing the same team out there that dominated the regular season and the playoffs. Yes they had an easier road, but I just don’t see the Knicks having the depth to stay with Boston in a best of 7 series. I like OKC but I just don’t see how you can give them the best team in the league title just yet. I’d still take Dallas and Minnesota over them in the playoffs.
I don’t think this guy realizes how good Luka is 😶
The absolute worst take in this is when he says the warriors don’t have enough depth

The best argument for Knecht winning ROTY is that Reddick is the coach. I’m really high on Edey, but Daltons 3pt shooting, and ability to make his own shot and finish while having JJ in his inaugural season as head coach, pfffft.

My hot take is that OKC needs one more year to make the finals, and I have Dallas, Denver and Minnesota making it above them. 2026 the league is cooked
Gotta have Cling Kong on a rookie team. He’s going to be a beast defensively
You say that the pelicans aren't going to gel well but think the kings could be a sleeper top 2. What is the difference the kings might not gel well. Do the Pelicans not have the star power, the defence and the depth to make it to the WCF as well?
Paolo Banchero is my break out mvp candidate I think he will average around 30 and be on a high seed kind of like sga last year
If he averages 30-8-5 with good splits and Orlando is a top 2 seed I can see him being in the conversation

No. But you’re acting like he’s wildly inefficient when that’s just not the case.
ridiculous putting the warriors so low. these rookies are fantastic, and now that klay isn’t bitching about playing time all year they’ll be able to play kuminga and moody and podzemski. warriors gonna be between 5-7 seed this year. i could see them high as 4 or low as 8 but i think they’ll be 5-6. it would’ve been an awful move to trade our rookies for a washed PG
no lebron on all nba is crazy
i do think if dalles are a top 3 seed and luka does what he did last year it will be a toss up between him and SGA the next 2 years will be those 2
Bucks top 3 is definitely a call
I disagree on your warriors take. This is the most well rounded roster they have had in a while.
The nets won't be able to tank it's a contract year for Simmons so he's going to be back to normal unless he gets injured or traded but no one will trust trading for him
TRE MAN MENTIONED 😘
2:02 but Monty Williams did want a defensive minded system. That's why he played Hayes over Ivey.
Memphis that high is wild

@@stevenashbeatz5939 Oh believe me, I haven't forgotten. But you said it yourself: a couple years ago. When they were healthy.
