We grew up watching bugs bunny, then as adults we got a modern Looney Tunes show that deals with roommates, dating, joining the Marines, dealing with customers, the DMV (noticing a pattern?). It feels like Looney Tunes grew up just to keep us as a target audience. And the Wiley Coyote shorts were awesome.
In my opinion yes. It felt relatable. Less slapstick and more verbal comedy. I wouldn't say it's better than the old cartoons, but they did something different. I felt like they did a good job writing the episodes. The show "Wabbit" feels half assed. To give an idea how much thought was put into it, Elmer Fud is the only character who calls him Wabbit and he isn't even in the damn show.
+JEFF YEAGLE As a Classic Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies fan that watches the classic theatrical Warner Bros shorts on a daily basis, in my opinion, The Looney Tunes Show meh. I mean, Bugs is a least better animated in Wabbit from the start. In the Looney Tunes Show, in Season 1 he didn't even have the proper color. Bugs was more purple, almost lavendar-like than Grey like his fur is supposed to be. They made Bugs an average joe in the show. In Wabbit, he at least outwit enemies like he was known for throughout the years. What I like about The Looney Tunes Show, was some of the Merrie Melodies songs (Moostache, Grilled Cheese song, and Chicken Hawk) and mostly the Season 2 episodes. What I don't like about The Looney Tunes Show was the awful animation from Season 1. I mean, Bugs' fur color and even look at the way Porky was animated in Season 1. He looked awful. Even though I like Wabbit more than The Looney Tunes Show, i will say that Wabbit has yet to introduce other Looney Tunes than just Bugs, Foghorn Leghorn, Wile E Coyote and Yosemite Sam yet. I think that's because Turner taking too long airing them. I'm almost convinced that Wabbit might be cancelled but i could be wrong.
I can tolarate bugs being a few shades off over what they did to Yosemite Sam. That's like Coca Cola changing their font to comic sans. There was something else off about it I couldn't figure out until I saw "Chuck Jones - Evolution of an Artist" on youtube. In the very first episode of Wabbit Bugs instigated a fight with Yosemite Sam and kept picking on him. In another episode a Lepricon wants a rabbits foot and Bugs promptly kicks him and just kept picking on him. Bugs also constantly picks on Wile E Coyote. Bugs Bunny does not pick fights and he doesn't keep picking on them without being provoked. There's some episodes in Wabbit where the "antagonist" will try to quit or leave, and Bugs will continue to pick on them. That's not Bugs Bunny in Wabbit because he's a bully. The antagonists seem unnecessarily stupid if bugs is just going to defy logic and physics to trick them Not to mention the jokes rarely make sense setting up expectation and reality (like a bear being inside a car wash drive through, or a skunk dropping a mic). The jokes make as much sense as a joke from "Uncle Grandpa". To be fair this is a good cartoon, just not a good bugs bunny cartoon. Also does bugs live in a rabbit hole or a house in Wabbit because they can't seem to make up their mind. I could go on, but it might be nitpicking. I also have a lot more examples if you need me to clarify anything.
"SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PEOPLE DON'T LET ME READ YOUR MAIL?!" I, for one, genuinely cracked up laughing at that, even without knowing the context of the line.
I miss this show. It was the original series with a modern touch, while still timeless. Sure it had it's ups and downs, but so did the original series, as well as others.
it was ok tho some characters just turned into stereotypes like sam did daffy i felt could have kept his greedy trait and it would have worked a bit better than him just basically being a neet
but Sam had a lot of development. He went friendly, he tried to change, he talked about his crazy family and dreams. The character was the fun greedy Sam but also much more. The same with Daffy, accepting his "feminine" side , discovery his talent, working his inferior complex towards Bugs, being at the same time egotist and generous. That Daffy was able at time to relate with others and still be crazy oblivious Daffy.
@@MichaelTurner856 There is a lot of scenes where he does at "girly" but those are mostly played as jokes, I think a better term would be "sensitive" rather than "feminine". Daffy shows to be insecure about himself, Melissa even points this out on their first date and perfectly guesses what kind of person he is, causing him to become embarrassed and attempt to leave. In a later episode, Melissa sees one of daffy's messages on his computer, and though at first it seems like he slanders her by calling her a "psychopath", it turns out that he's calling her a psychopath because he views her in high regards and doesn't understand why she'd date a guy like him. He still exhibits his greedy and antagonistic behaviors found in earlier cartoons, but he isn't COMPLETELY delusional either.
All the Merrie Melodies Music Videos starting Daffy are a lot of fun, IMO. "Chintzy, chintzy, chintzy, chintzy, very Chintzy! This gifts got a hot date with my sweater!"- Chintzy "He stabs you with his trident, and you're dead!"- Giant Robot Love
I really like it. It's........ Well........ Good. They now have more character and personality. Here were the characters before: Bugs: Rabbit, Eats Carrots, Catchphrase, Funny. Daffy: Duck, Selfish Asshole, Doesn't like Bugs, Funny. Elmer: Hunter, Asshole, Funny Accent, Wabbit, Funny. Lola: Bunny, Boobs, Doesn't Like Being Called "Doll".
And now after: Bugs: Smart, Clever, an Every Man, Can Be Funny. Daffy: F*^%#_ A*^HOLE, Lazy, Selfish, Bum with Get-Rich-Quick Schemes, and an ego matching the likes of Vince McMahon. Elmer: Now, he's a news anchor. Good for him, at least now he makes money. Lola: Lovable Empty Minded Airhead, and occasional Stalker with rich just as Empty Minded parents.
I'll be completely honest... I completely shut the show down after seeing the "housemate" setting, because I just never saw the Looney Tunes as the kind of show that lends itself well to that. At least, not for more than one episode. Still not really sold on that, but I haven't seen any more of the show yet. Seeing a few of the clips in this video has convinced me to at least give it a fairer (read: fair at all) go.
+YouDontKnowSponge *THE LOONEY TUNES SHOW IS NEVER GONNA GET REVIVED. IT WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO GET 52 EPISODES. DEAL WITH IT. DEAL WITH REAL LOONEY TUNES.*
+simon sampson Just shut up. None of us know the future of cartoons unless they reveal information and stop calling The Looney Tunes Show a fake. This is why I hate the majority of people with a burning passion. They are always so cruel and hateful.
My favourite joke from the show: Porky: "You can't fly! You can't swim! Are you a duck at all?!" Daffy: "I'm not sure. But this comes off very easily." *Pulls his bill off*
My favorite joke is after Daffy borrowed $375,000 for a "kidney operation", and bought a yacht instead. Daffy: "I thought if I told you what the money was for, you wouldn't give it to me." Porky: "I wouldn't have!" Daffy: "You just proved my point. How am I the bad guy here?"
@@BlueAmpharos We did have the Loonatics which was like what if the Looney Tunes were superheroes and villains. Main heroes were based off Bugs, Lola, Daffy, Taz, Road Runner and Coyote.
I actually liked it. For once, we got to see the Looney Tunes characters with character development and their relationship with one another. Sure, it's not your typical slapstick and wacky show you used to watch as a kid but people need to realize that this is a new generation. Heck, it's even better than Powerpuff Girls 2016 and Teen Titans GO. This show was entertaining at times though I will admit, Hazel's voice was terrible, Gosomer was terrible, Taz was a pet which I hated & the humor would not work.
"I think It's funny" THANK YOU "...Undeniably flawed but still funny!" EXACTLY HE JUST SUMMED IT UP PERFECTLY IN THIS VIDEO Oh also my mom is one of those "no change" people shouting sellout. Much to my disgrace.
My mom's not like that. She likes to give things the benefit of the doubt. My Dad on the other hand.... He hates the Paul Ruddish Mickey Mouse show. I don't think I told him that it's the show replacing The Great Movie Ride.
Man....Looking back on it. I kinda miss the loony Toons show. Honestly, it'd be better to have that around rather than Cartoon Network spamming da hell out of us with Teen Titans Go episodes. God. That show is bad to the core.
...Well, i guess Loonatics is the most Underrated Looney Tunes show ever. Because you're calling Looney Tunes Show to be the most Underrated Looney Tunes, which implies that you don't know about Loonatics, which is an example that you Loonatics is so underrated, that not many people know about it.
I loved this show Daffy Duck is basically me When they cancelled it I was devastated but I still watch it I really wish they bring it back now that new looney tunes is over so please please please bring back TLTS
"Daffy Duck is basically me." Daffy? The one who tricked a friend into giving him $375,000 for a kidney operation, when it was actually to buy a yacht?
I can kinda understand why some people would hate the show, but in my opinion even the odd changes here are actually pretty clever, and they work pretty well too. As for the not so funny episodes, they replace the jokes with actual emotion and relatable situations. I hated the Lola in Space Jam but I LOVE her in this one. Glad they didn't screw up Marvin's character. (since he's my favorite, and in my opinion needed more episodes)
I'm kinda split on the original version of Lola. The new one is amazing, but I also felt that the old Lola had the potential to be funny too. She felt like she was trying to be how the Green M&M or Jessica Rabbit was portrayed at some points but didn't go all the way with the idea. Yeah, they were sexualized, but they played it so over the top that it came off hilarious while also acting like snarky diva that doesn't take crap from anyone or can even be badass when the situation called for it. That's how I wish they made the old Lola.
The only character choice I don't really get at all was Witch Hazel and Gossamer. The only thing they have in common with their original counterparts is that they're monsters (and Witch Hazel can do magic). They're not bad characters. Hazel's laugh can be pretty funny. And Gossamer's actually pretty cute, feels like a real kid, is voiced by an actual kid (which is rare in animation), and has believable chemistry with Daffy. But how funny would it be if the two kept their roles as mother and son, but had the same kind of personality as the originals? As for Taz, I actually think him being Bugs's pet is actually a clever way to allow him to keep his personality, while allowing him to fit inside a Seinfeld-esc environment.
Actually, Original Lola's personality was supposed to be a mix of the Tomboy character, and Femme Fatal character. But I agree. The newer Lola is better.
I do like that version of Lola however The Looney Tunes Comics built up her original personality, she was a Pizza Delivery Women for Gods and Mythical Monsters (weird I know) And she was pretty funny in those stories
I didn’t see the original comics for looney tunes at all. As far a I knew Lola Bunny was created specifically for the Space Jam movie. There was a Looney Tunes short I remember with a female bunny character named Daisy for a Valentine’s Day episode, but that’s it.
Zaracha Stellaris That’s my problem with the new Lola: being a blonde stereotype because she’s literally blonde is uncreative. Not that it’s not pulled off well, it’s just tiresome.
I remembered when I first saw the concept of the show, I thought it was going to be very boring and it wouldn't last passed the first season. Then when I watched it, I surprisingly really, REALLY enjoyed it. I thought most people were going to hate it thou and that it'll get a very small cult following. And now I'm surprised that a lot of you actually loved it as much as I did.
Omar S i used to think it wasn't funny mainly due to some of the bad modern jokes and felt it moved a little too slowly. But after seeing this review and goin over the fragments i saw ( have a hard time catchin episodes and movies in full on tv), i do recall some of the jokes being funny, just that the bad jokes or real bad ones overshadow them.
This was by far my favorite Looney Tunes series. I loved the idea of the characters living domestic lives. (Btw, I feel like Loonatics was a fanfiction gone wrong)
Duck Dodgers was actually pretty good with spoofs of various other cartoons and stuff. Haven't watched that much of the Looney Tunes Show but from the few episodes I have seen I did enjoy it. So they're both good and enjoyable new versions of classic characters.
It probably has to do with the time the original shorts came out. They were also filled with satirical humor, but some of the humor is seen as politically incorrect by today's standards. Hence, you have a show that technically follows the formula of the shorts, but also plays it safe as to not upset moral guardians.
INTERNALLY SCREAMING it was to me, I gave it so many chances to get good but the last straw was when they had Bugs Bunny say "I hate the forest!" also he had forgotten how to get into a rabbit hole which also pissed me off.
Duck Dodgers is my childhood, man. I love the comedy and the characters in that version. Plus it's just a big bowl of nostalgia for me, and I have fond memories of finding individual episodes on RUclips so I could enjoy my favorite show.
I always thought it was, Good! Mainly because Lola in Space Jam felt like this was meant for furries and not cartoon lovers. In this, however, she's hilariously AWESOME!
Kissasheep the Chalk IKR? I've had a strong urge to agree with those who feel the same way regardless of how cool I thought the original Lola was, along with Jessica Borutski giving Lola some more modest clothing so it would make more sense for her intentionally uproarious personality to easily shine through, especially considering the shamefully indecent body structure she was designed with compared to a bunch of the other characters, because I'm sure focusing on personality is quite an ideal reason on why dress codes with those particular guidelines exist out in planet reality.
I think they canceled it for the awful Teen Titans Go! show. Wabbit was only made because it's cheap. People shouldn't of been hating on TLTS as we probably would of never got Teen Titans Go! and Wabbit. It's karma.
@@epicmickeyproductions3291 I Rember liking it a lot compared to TLTS because I didn’t see much TLTS but now rewatching it it’s amazing and 90% of episodes are amazing and get a laugh out of me
The looney tunes show is the best looney tunes cartoon, don't know about wabbit, there were a lot of bad episodes, but I did love the returning character episodes, like marvin the martian for an example!
you know, there was this one episode that I really liked and that was the episode where Bugs moves back into his old Rabbit Hole from the Classic episodes.
I really liked this series. My brother, however, hates it because it's not like the same kind of Looney Tunes we used to get as children. I told him to grow up because this is not really for us, but the new generation.
I really enjoyed the show, but I never really saw it as more "mature" than the original Looney Tunes. *some* of the humor would go right over a lot of kids' heads, but only once or twice per episode at most. The only thing I see as more adult than the originals are the settings; like, they might have an episode take place in a phone store, or in a restaurant with characters on a date, the DMV, etcetera. But even though it looks more adult because of episode ideas/settings like those, the actual humor is still very kid-centric. Despite that, I still enjoyed the show when I was like 20, maybe 21. It's a good show. (Also, some of the music is hilarious. I liked "giant robot love" so much, I recorded a cover version of it.)
Only problem I could have with the new Lola is that Looney tunes already has a stalker in Pepe le Pew. However, whilst Pepe is essentially just a French stereotype Lola is a bit more of a crazy goofball so its not as if the characters are the same. Plus Pepe is attracted to various characters as love at first sight whereas Lola is obsessed with Bugs's looks and personality.
there is also this: considering we lost pepé le pew to one-sided venomous snakes, tlts lola may be the closest thing to a modern day AND official pepé we may ever get plus, for those snakes, lola may as well be a representation of unwanted and repetitive stalkers being female
I loved this show. It was funny, creative, a good transition to sitcom, Lola isn't just a body anymore, and the songs are unforgettable. I still can't forget songs like Daffy Duck The Wizard, Chicken Hawk or Grilled Cheese.
Here is my thoughts on the whole Lola Bunny thing with the whole old vs new! I will admit to being involved in that, until I found out about a third version of Lola that is BY FAR the best version of the three that leaves the other two in the dust! That version is the DC Looney Tunes comic book version of Lola. That version of Lola has all the good qualities of the other two versions and none of the things people criticize. She's still strong, smart, competent, sassy, and independent like the Space Jam version with a no-nonsense attitude (as far as with how others act) but is still comedic, silly, looney, and can work off of the other characters. She's basically like a combination of Babs Bunny from Tiny Toons and Tina Russo from the new Looney Tunes Show. If you guys haven't read the Lola Bunny comics, I HIGHLY recommend them! With the Space Jam and new Looney Tunes Show versions, I think they're in the same boat as the 1950 and 2015 versions of Disney's Cinderella when the Nostalgia Critic did his old vs new. By that I mean that people are gonna like the version they like but the third option people don't think about (In that case Ever After and in this case the comic book version of Lola) is by far the best version because that third option is the perfect balance of both options.
Ikr, it might be my favorite Looney Tunes production after Mel Blanc's death. Though it will probably get dethroned by Looney Tunes Cartoons next year, cuz that first episode WB uploaded on RUclips, to give us a taste, truly captured the magic of the original Looney Tunes shorts!
Same. I, admitingly, find it kinda hypocritical that he's calling us out for rushing to judge this show, while rushing to judge everything else that came after 1990. I, for one, respect most contemporary incarnations of this franchise. The only exception is Baby Looney Tunes. But even then, the part of me that likes Muppet Babies tells me that I should give it another look.
Honestly out of everything I’ve seen that’s looney tunes related this show was the nicest out of all of them Not saying that everything else was bad(they weren’t) im just saying that i enjoyed this one more
I mostly agree with what he said here, except I thought Duck Dodgers was pretty decent. And as for Wabbit, I've only seen it once or twice, but it felt like a generic Cartoon Network show that just happened to have Bugs Bunny as the main character. I still don't understand how they ditched the Looney Tunes Show for THAT.
Not to worry; it's now retooled as "New Looney Tunes" and the characters will get more spotlight in the second season. ...I still prefer the original Looney Tunes over TLTS and NLT.
I loved this version as a kid and I have seen some of the original. Honestly I thought this show did a great job with the characters and my siblings and I were so upset when the show had ended. This show is good and I never knew people actually hated it
This was an awesome show and Daffy never failed to make me laugh. He is such a CARD!!! XD Loved Bugs and Daffy's vitriolic best friendship and their charismatic girlfriends, Tina and Lola. It's such a damn shame this was cancelled :/ However if I brought this show back, I'd maybe cut out the music videos and CG side skits and just focused on the episode's main story to not stall time. But other than that, this show is REALLY good. It's like an animated Seinfeld or Modern Family and your fave characters never lose their charm.
Personally, I like the CG shorts because I like Wile E Coyote and Roadrunner, and if those were cut, the duo would be reduced to cameos in the actual story. But, hey, I guess if I wanted to watch Roadrunner and Wile E Coyote fight, I'd just watch one of their old shorts. Aside from that, those shorts are not nearly as fun as the original shorts, especially since the CG is a little too stiff to be as funny. If it's not broke, don't fix it. I, as a Muppet fan, do like seeing references to Veteranerians Hospital and Pigs in Space, but I don't want the people behind The Muppets to think recreating those sketches all the time would be good enough to be funny.
My problem with Lola is that she seemed a lot stupider than she used to be. I had thought by her introduction that she'd be used more as an intelligent foil for Bugs rather than one of the many idiots he always has to deal with. But then, I always like the characters like Cecil Turtle, the Gremlin and others who can actually give that smug rabbit (Bugs, of course) a challenge. Also, I liked the "clueless goofball" personality better the last time it was used. When Disney gave it to Daisy Duck for the Mickey's Mouseworks cartoons.
TheGoldenAge I just like it when Bugs has an actual challenge rather than just dealing with morons like Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam. In fact, one of my favorite Looney Tunes is Cecil Turtle, who regularly shows that smug rabbit a thing or two.
@lizardjoesreptiles4224 they canceled Pepe le Pew because he was promoting “sexual harassment”. They tried to cancel Speedy because they said he was a negative stereotype but it failed because Mexicans love him. It’s sad that Pepe got cancelled he’s just a cartoon character!
This is one of my favorite cartoons. So many classic episodes and it was soooooooo relatable. And the comedy was mostly intelligent. Sucks that it got canned after 2 seasons but there are so many really good episodes that I just re-watch them. Funny some of your best episodes are my weaker ones. I have a list that I always re-watch when I'm bored. Off the top of my head some of them are Daffy joining the marines, Daffy becoming a lecturer and Bugs losing his gloves, Daffy becoming CEO of Enormacorp, The one you mentioned of Daffy scamming Porky, The one where Daffy runs for City Council, the marathon episode for the Jock, the Loser and the dork. Huh, all my favorite episodes revolve around Daffy. lol When I first saw it it was JARRING seeing Lola playing a crazy chick. I was like "Why???" then by the end of the episode I was in love with her character. Especially the episode where the gopher went missing and she and Daffy decided to investigate. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
I get a *TON* of hate for preferring the new Lola over the old one from Space Jam. I don't even get it, I mean to me it's just a developed, fleshed out version of the same character, given an identity and a *PERSONALITY.* Not a slap in the face to the original, or anything like that. I could easily see the Kristen Wiig Lola saying and doing the same things if she were in Space Jam, but it would feel like part of an elaborate joke, like scenes from certain episodes, or just one facet of her personality. I'll admit that she's kind of annoying sometimes, but calling her a horrible character just confuses me. Nostalgia for Space Jam is all well and good, but you still have to be objective. This is just going to turn into a massive flame war, isn't it? Because that's what we all need to do. Go to war over a single character... wish I hadn't done that before myself though... As for the show itself, I like it, but I don't like every episode, some go too far or not far enough, some are boring or have annoying moments, but I still watch it and enjoy most of it, for the most part. It's not my favourite animated show or anything though. It's certainly self aware... it's just hated because it's different, so it got cancelled. Thanks for that, everybody. And Wabbit is impossible to find and/or watch illegally on the internet, ergo it doesn't exist to me. TV shows are a massive problem right now since KickassTorrents got destroyed, torrenting seems to have disappeared at least for the time being.
I'm just gonna copy and paste what I commented above and just to let you know, I'm NOT going to bash you for preferring the new Lola over the Space Jam version. "Here is my thoughts on the whole Lola Bunny thing with the whole old vs new! to be honest, yes, that version of Lola was still able to be sexy and flirtatious and all. But she has a whole personality arouuuund that. That made the character a lot more richer, funnier and interesting to see with the others. At first I was in a way horrified when I saw the teaser for the show. I thought they simply made her bland. And then I watch her episodes and I loved her a lot more than ever. Oh what the length she would go for her Mister Customer ! :)
It's also proof that the Merrie Melodies Music Videos were great- well, half of them at least. Like Doug said, the best ones were the ones that were made out of having good ideas for them instead of obligation (although that never seemed to be a problem for Phineas and Ferb's Dan and Swampy, even before they started working with Weird Al). The ones with Daffy and Lola were always destined to be awesome!
I’m coming in on this from a different POV. I was young when me and my family would watch it and we all loved it. Including my parents who hadn’t seen the original. So for me it’s a good update and reimagining for these characters that everyone can enjoy.
I guess lola is for me what Amy is for sonic boom, taking a one note character and making her fun to watch. now that i mentioned sonic i guess i am offically a furry because that's internet logic.
Wish this show was back, it was faithful to the old ones.. Plus this version Lola is much better then the Space Jam Lola, heck she's badass as well when she wants to be, aka Lola Croft short.
So, my favorite character has always been and always will be Marvin the Martian, and I have to say I love how they used his character in this shown when he did show up. I know he didn't do hardly anything, because of the setting and plot of the show, but the casual one liners and short segments with him are awesome! My personal favorite being his interview with Bugs for the pizza shop!
There isn't to much jokes like the original but I laugh every episode; I've never seen the Farther figure and need to see it, and I love Duck Dodgers I don't see the problem in that
This show's twist on Lola Bunny really did make her hilarious and much more likable. And Kristen Wiig voiced her amazingly! It's the definitive version of Lola for me now.
The reason I enjoyed it, when the looney toons show aired I was coming into my early 20's. I was thinking about college, apartment life, bills, the adult stuff. To see characters I recognize essentially grown up, dealing with the same life I'm going through, but still playing the original characters it really made me feel at home with the show.
SEGASister Baby Looney Tunes was a pretty meh show. I liked it though, I still remember the episode where Daffy heard a garbage guy swear (censored by a rubber duck) and then Daffy spent the whole episode using it.
The baby Looney Tunes show was my jam back in the day although I still prefer the Looney Tunes Show version of her, it's far better. The only episode I remember is one when Granny tells the kids about the sand man and then Daffy stays up all night in order to meet him only to find out he doesn't exist. Good times.
Brandon Roberts For me Gravity Falls. I must be one of the few that actually couldn't get into SU. To each to their own though. P.S. Don't kill me please...
I can agree with a lot of the stuff you said and think that the jokes sometimes are funny but not a lot of times giving more personality to Lola is refreshing then the old one. I like daffy more in the series then I did before same with bugs. So I think these is a good adaptation of the show.
An episode I love is about Daffy hanging out at Porky's house, and he thinks that Porky plans to kill him so he does whatever any sane person, he beats the absolute shit out of Porky, it's prolly my sadistic self but watching Porky get pummeled was hilarious to me.
Am I the only person alive who actually liked Loonatics Unleashed? Yeah, it has nothing to do with Looney Toones, but if you take it as its own show... well, I was 14, but I don't remember it being bad.
In my opinion, this show should have never been axed. It was so popular with the fans. They should have axed teen titans go instead.

The antagonists seem unnecessarily stupid if bugs is just going to defy logic and physics to trick them
Not to mention the jokes rarely make sense setting up expectation and reality (like a bear being inside a car wash drive through, or a skunk dropping a mic).
"SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PEOPLE DON'T LET ME READ YOUR MAIL?!"
I, for one, genuinely cracked up laughing at that, even without knowing the context of the line.

@@oomusd what do you mean his "feminine" side
Me too it’s very nostalgic
I never cared for the Merrie Melodies but I thought Daffy Duck The Wizard was BADASS!!!

It's got a divided fan base, that's why half of the people hated while the rest loved it for what it is.
I really like it. It's........ Well........ Good. They now have more character and personality. Here were the characters before:
Bugs: Rabbit, Eats Carrots, Catchphrase, Funny.
Daffy: Duck, Selfish Asshole, Doesn't like Bugs, Funny.
Elmer: Hunter, Asshole, Funny Accent, Wabbit, Funny.
Lola: Bunny, Boobs, Doesn't Like Being Called "Doll".
And now after:
Bugs: Smart, Clever, an Every Man, Can Be Funny.

Am I the only person that liked gossamer? That might be because it was the kid that voiced Darwin, or I just enjoyed his dynamic with daffy.

Daffy?
That's how I wish they made the old Lola.
ikr! i love the old one but this one good also!

The Looney Tunes Comics built up her original personality, she was a Pizza Delivery Women for Gods and Mythical Monsters (weird I know) And she was pretty funny in those stories

Lola felt like the generic dim blonde, according to her original reception on the show.
there is also this: considering we lost pepé le pew to one-sided venomous snakes, tlts lola may be the closest thing to a modern day AND official pepé we may ever get
plus, for those snakes, lola may as well be a representation of unwanted and repetitive stalkers being female
I loved this show. It was funny, creative, a good transition to sitcom, Lola isn't just a body anymore, and the songs are unforgettable.

This is the version that isn't talked about a lot and it is one of my favorites.
What's wrong with Duck Dodgers?
Ikr, it might be my favorite Looney Tunes production after Mel Blanc's death. Though it will probably get dethroned by Looney Tunes Cartoons next year, cuz that first episode WB uploaded on RUclips, to give us a taste, truly captured the magic of the original Looney Tunes shorts!
I don't think he knows they literally share the same writers lol
I liked the show. It was interesting while it lasted and I wish it had more time to develop. But hey, at least we have Bugs.
Honestly out of everything I’ve seen that’s looney tunes related this show was the nicest out of all of them
Not saying that everything else was bad(they weren’t) im just saying that i enjoyed this one more

NG Caleb I think it is.
Wabbit looks like a kid designed the characters.
Not to worry; it's now retooled as "New Looney Tunes" and the characters will get more spotlight in the second season. ...I still prefer the original Looney Tunes over TLTS and NLT.
People nowadays love generic settings that happen to have [insert iconic character here]. That would be my answer. :/

Dariush Asadi that was my childhood
Wabbit is trash.... But the Looney Tunes Show is awesome😘
However, the original Looney Tunes is pure gold and perfection.
Wabbit is hideous and tries too hard it's also slower paced and less funny

That "I don't want change" clip is so underrated

+The Invisible Mare I'm biased against Wabbit. It's a decent show, but why would not include Elmer Fudd in it? He's the guy who's says "wabbit".
I'm just gonna copy and paste what I commented above and just to let you know, I'm NOT going to bash you for preferring the new Lola over the Space Jam version.
"Here is my thoughts on the whole Lola Bunny thing with the whole old vs new! By that I mean that people are gonna like the version they like but the third option people don't think about (In that case Ever After and in this case the comic book version of Lola) is by far the best version because that third option is the perfect balance of both options."
to be honest, yes, that version of Lola was still able to be sexy and flirtatious and all.
I was more pissed that they took away Minerva Mink's boobs in "Animaniacs". ;D
Dude, are you just repeating Doug´s lines?
5:35 love her as a character, she cute sassy no nonsense, smart & a good head on her shoulders. She’s the Exact person daffy needs in her life.
Daffy duck the wizard alone is proof that the show was great
It's also proof that the Merrie Melodies Music Videos were great- well, half of them at least.
+pipo berber That...you mean regular Sonic stuff, right?
+The CC i really don't like the term "sonicfag", it seems really homophobic.
+The CC Not all furrys are sex crazed perverts.
+pipo berber What worries me more is you saying something positive about sonic boom. Unless by fun to watch, you mean glitching the fuck out.
blah blah since when was sonic boom a game? it's a tv show!
I mean yeah there was a 3ds game but amy bearly apears in it.
Wish this show was back, it was faithful to the old ones..
Plus this version Lola is much better then the Space Jam Lola, heck she's badass as well when she wants to be, aka Lola Croft short.
This show is super underrated, I love this show. Thankfully it seems to be gaining a resurgence in popularity.
It renewal for HBO max would be excellent
So, my favorite character has always been and always will be Marvin the Martian, and I have to say I love how they used his character in this shown when he did show up. I know he didn't do hardly anything, because of the setting and plot of the show, but the casual one liners and short segments with him are awesome! My personal favorite being his interview with Bugs for the pizza shop!
I love this show with all my heart.
There isn't to much jokes like the original but I laugh every episode; I've never seen the Farther figure and need to see it, and I love Duck Dodgers I don't see the problem in that
In my opinion, the Looney Tunes Show is pretty good, I enjoyed it. :)
this show was good
My favorite song in Merrie melodies 1 the wizard, 2 we are in love, 3 be polite, 4 long earned drifter
This show's twist on Lola Bunny really did make her hilarious and much more likable. And Kristen Wiig voiced her amazingly! It's the definitive version of Lola for me now.
Kinda got pissed when they cancelled it.
rocknroargodezz Reaper Same here dude
+rocknroargodezz Reaper I kinda got glad they cancelled it.
+Vanessa Hudgens k then.
+rocknroargodezz Reaper i will always love it.
+patrick crabb same
This is the ONLY Luny Tunes I watch over and over and over and love it!!!
8:37 Oh so tumblr
+rigren0121 as someone who goes on tumblr a lot, I can confirm this 100%
+afroblademaster Goes on Tumblr a lot? You have a sanity fortitude that I will never understand...or you are totally insane.
both, actually. I tend to stay away from the worse sides of tumblr (thank you block functions) and there's no fun in sanity.
+afroblademaster I guess sanity can be over-rated at times.
+rigren0121 Momentai XD
The reason I enjoyed it, when the looney toons show aired I was coming into my early 20's. I was thinking about college, apartment life, bills, the adult stuff. To see characters I recognize essentially grown up, dealing with the same life I'm going through, but still playing the original characters it really made me feel at home with the show.
You can't do Duck Dodgers dirty like that,
*They were the same people that made The Looney Tunes Show*
I honestly enjoy this show :) bummed that it wasn't renewed for a third season. As for Lola, I think the Baby Looney Tunes show handled her the best.
Was she in that? I really prefer her in TLTS over Space Jam.
Good times.
RIP TLTS
You will forever be my second favorite CN show. SU can't be beat though.
+JKFallen Steven Universe.
Calebite Looks like we're going to have a nice talk about which show is better: Gravity Falls, Rick and Morty or Steven Universe...
BEGIN!!!
Brandon Roberts For me Gravity Falls. I must be one of the few that actually couldn't get into SU. To each to their own though.
P.S. Don't kill me please...
+Hotsex spy I love GF and SU, but I haven't seen enough Rick and Morty to form an opinion.
+Hotsex spy I like all GF and SU not Rick and Morty because I have not seen it
Lola is the fucking best.
I can agree with a lot of the stuff you said and think that the jokes sometimes are funny but not a lot of times giving more personality to Lola is refreshing then the old one. I like daffy more in the series then I did before same with bugs. So I think these is a good adaptation of the show.
3:17 How Melee fans react to new Smash Bros. Games!
I know he didn't just shit talk Duck Dodgers.
Oh, he did! Let's get dangerous!
+The KaBlammer Wasn't that the catch phrase for Darkwing Duck?
FeedNGrow Yeah.
Beautiful Banjo I don't think he was he's just saying he found the loony toons show more funny with its joke
7:55
That shot of Daffy shooting a machine gun out of the side of a Black Hawk chopper is goddamn magical.
Now we need his thoughts on Teen Titans Go
the CREATORS dont like their own show more than the original Teen Titans and on several occasions they break the 4th wall just to say that they suck
I had already knew it was going to be a train wreck when the creators said they didn't watch the original.
Soji Adeleke Check out old vs new
Teen titans edition
An episode I love is about Daffy hanging out at Porky's house, and he thinks that Porky plans to kill him so he does whatever any sane person, he beats the absolute shit out of Porky, it's prolly my sadistic self but watching Porky get pummeled was hilarious to me.
Am I the only person alive who actually liked Loonatics Unleashed?
Yeah, it has nothing to do with Looney Toones, but if you take it as its own show... well, I was 14, but I don't remember it being bad.
Giacomanzium I like it too
Same here it was cool.
I really wanted to watch it but sadly never got the chance
Finally, I found people who actually liked Loonatics Unleashed. I really liked it as well better then the new looney tunes show.
