what was i made for? - a ukestra channeling of Billie Eilish

This version of Thursday Night Ukestra in Newcastle, Australia started in 2017. Seven years builds a culture and a community. Then in walks a professional, settled here from another town, and she finds inclusive people and musicians, and a good place to make music with others.
This was a small evening in March 2024, at the Carrington Bowlo. Only 17 ukulele players out of sometimes 35 people showed up. But we turned up the cathedral reverb, chorus and echo and Cathy owned the song, as did Will very occasionally and brusquely on the baritone through an overdriven Spark Mini.
We love these gob-smacking moments. I knew it was coming. So I stopped the song, asked Ken to video it, and we started again.
