- I was having some issues with my windshield wiper motor and was forced to replace it, so I thought I make this video for other Mustang owners that run into this Problem. If you have a question feel free to ask in the comments.
The Windshield Wiper motor is 98$ and you can pick it up at Oreilys or Autozone.
Just bought my mustang and the wiper motor went out on the way home 😂 thanks for the help

Used a $12 tie rod puller on a 2011 mustang. Much more sturdy than the wiper pullers and worked great.

Tighten down the nuts first, see if that is the problem. Thought I had a serious situation, watched a few vids, learned that a loose nut could be the prohlem. It was and it’s a very simple fix

My wipers on my 05' GT turn on and get jammed half way. And u can hear the motor while the wipers are stuck. Was yours doing that? Let me know so that I know to buy the motor for it.
Yea. i tried just putting WD-40 at first but that dint help so i just replaced it and works like a charm.
just make sure to take a picture of the assembly before you take off the motor so you can put it exactly the way it was or the wipers dont get a full windsheild wipe

Do you think this would be caused by going thru a car wash 1-2 times a day? My wipers are stuck in the upright position like you said in the beginning of ur video. Also now my ac won’t blow air but controls light up. Good video btw. Thank you
I don’t know if you still have the AC issue but most likely your blower motor
Do I have to take out the wiper blade? Seems like a pain

I replace my motor but it still clicks. Do you know how to fix the wiper transmission arm? Or do I just have to replace it?
Probaly just replace it.

what was the problem with your wipers didn't work?
mines was sometimes i turn on my wipers i doesn't work and sometimes it accidentallywent on without me turn it on. I wonder if we had the same problem.
The motor was worn out. wipers would get jammed in the middle of the windshield
I have a 05 mustang and my whinshield whipers turn on by them self's do u know what it can be
Maybe check your smart junction box thats in the passenger side foot well. Make sure its nice and dry water tends to get on it
Had the same issue, more than likely the motor is going bad, I just had this happen to my wife's Mustang and all the research I have found points to a bad position sensor in the motor.
Mine is doing the same im thinking the motor might have gotten wet anyone with updates?
