Anyone here because they didn’t clear the snow off the bottom of the windshield and now the wipers aren’t working? I’m not here because of that. 🥴
Amazing! One of my wife's wipers went out and I thought, "That's odd." She said she wanted to take it to the shop and I said, "'Wait, I'm on it!" This was the first video I stumbled on and it was just a loose nut. Thank you so much!
You are a fantastic instructor. your video is all inclusive in resolving my issue with one wiper arm working and the passenger side is not working. Your explanation of the issues and the resolve are perfect for non-mechanic do-it-yourselfers.
I just have to say thank you! After 6 months of riding with 1 wiper it was literally the tightening of the wiper bolt🙃 I was avoiding the mechanic for this long!
1A Autos videos have helped me so much over the last several years! In this case it was just a lose nut on the wiper arm. Saved us a trip to the mechanic 1500 miles from home. Thank you so much for all the content, and I try to get as many parts from 1A auto if ordering online. 🙏👍
In some cases a repair kit can be purchased, usually aftermarket, which contains new push rods with new plastic ball sockets, you then clean up the metal ball part and fit the new rods with some grease for lubrication applied to the ball sockets.
Excellent, thank you. This was perfect. Super clear communication in this video! My passenger wiper wouldn't move, and because of your video, I found that only the nut on the wiper arm was loose. Two minute fix with 14mm socket. Yeah! 👍 👍 👍
Man 1A really EARNS peoples' business with these great videos. Keep 'em coming.
Gday , I'm a cowgirl from Australia 🇦🇺, I literally just followed your instructions I used cable ties and heavy duty duct tape and did a band aid repair, I have left most of the screws off the cowl and am about to go online and order the part , I very much doubt I'm going to put it in myself it looks a bit complicated , so greatful you gave me a temporary fix whilst I wait to get it done xxxx. Thanks soo much

This is in-depth, to the point and clear. Awesome!
Thank you so much for sharing your expertise! The nut just needed a little tightening and it's all good to go. I'm relieved to save the time and cost of a trip to the shop.
Thank you!! I fixed it by watching this video
For me it was the loose screw, saved me money thanks
Thanks for the help! Bolt ended up being loose on my 2021 Toyota Camry.
I really appreciate you using the same model vehicle that I have. That made it crystal clear for me.
I really appreciate this you weren't long-winded you got to the point and showed each individual possibility quickly and clearly thank you. Extremely helpful🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Had the exact problem, had no idea what to do, and found that the nut was loose. Fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes. Thanks!!
Your video was very helpful, thank you! I went through a few other videos and none of them were helpful. I have a 2015 Chevy Equinox. Thanks to your video, I got the malfunctioning wiper working today. Keep up the good work!
Fixed it because of you! Thanks
Great video. Super helpful and I loved the enthusiasm haha. Makes a frustrating situation a little easier to manage
+Daniel Hurd Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Nice clear video!
I appreciated the discussion of a temporary fix just to get by while waiting for the new part.
Came for "the veeracle".....stayed for the beard! I was NOT disappointed! 😁
Thank you so much for your video. You are a great instructor. I am by no means any kind of mechanic yet I was able to go out today and fix the issue with one of my wipers not working. I was super stressed it was going to cost me hundreds of dollars and all i wound up having to do was tighten the bolt. Now it is back to normal. Even if it had been something that I had to replace I would have left you this comment anyways. I loved the video it was very well done.
Muchas gracias por sus profesionales videos han ayudado a muchos enseñándoles hacerlo sin miedo y ahorrar mucho dinero en reparaciones básicas. En mi idioma para que sepan que los vemos desde otro hemisferio del planeta.
Thanks so much! I watched a few videos how to replace the arm and motor then came across yours. Turned it to only be that bolt at the top! Saved me a ton of time abd money just by tightening it up. Thanks!
Thanks mate 👍
thank you ser! "fixed" now with the pop back on / add zip tie method lol ! ur the best!
Wow I truly appreciate this video. My hummer h3 has this exact problem. Now I know what to look for and how to fix it all thanks to you. 🙏
i love this video. i was looking at least for temporary sulution of the worn ball joint.. its here ! nice'!
After steugling with finding place for the zip ties... Ive drilled hole trough the ball it wasnt really hard material reminded me brass.. then ive put long screw through with big washers on each side, two nuts in contra little loose so it can move freely, now its like new and i would bet it will outlast the car this way.
I had this exact problem. You probably just saved me hundreds of dollars taking my car to the dealership. One wiper arm was moving g freely. Luckily it was just a loose nut. Dealership would've probably tried to replace the entire motor assembly
Excellent video. Very clear and helpful.
I learned a lot! Thank you for this video!
Very informative and really easy to understand. Thank you
You are hilarious! Thanks for explaining things so clearly too!! 🙏🏻😆
This was our problem. Thank you for the help!
Thanks as always! Very helpful.
Good job explaining; GOD bless you.
Very helpful. Thank you
I think a trip to the junk yard would be worth while.... that regulator assembly looks expensive. This was a great video and very informative!
Thanks, you are a very good teacher.
This is gold, thank you so much!
Thank you! Very helpful
for me its was the 2 nuts the one on the wiper and the one behind the wheel. thanks saved my trip from being delayed...
Thank you for pretty much helping me diagnose the issue I'm having with my wiper.. Motor works.. Arm no move lol
This was so good, appreciate you!
Thank you!!! Very clear!!!
Commenting to support. Thank you.
This guy is great! Thanks!

Great video👍
The problem you described I'm experiencing thanks for the lesson,
Amazing! Thank you.! WELL THOUGHT OUT !
Great video.
My mom had the same issue with her 2005 chevy cavalier all I did was change 3 of the Windshield Wiper Linkage Bushings its been months and they work perfectly.
You guys are amazing
Thank you
For a temporary/ permanent fix drill a small hole in the ball socket and use a self tapping screw and a small washer to hold the unit together.
good vid.. helped me out.
Awesome 👌 Thanks
great video!!!!!!
This helped a lot. I like your attitude dude.
Quirky 🤔
Well thanks a million cause my driver side wiper arm just stop working and just watching half of this video I went out pop off the cover tighten the bolt holding the arm then I tried to move the arm it didn't move so then I turn the wipers on and bingo that was it thanks again
Great video, than you!
Awesome!
Wait. What was that tool to remove the arm to the connector?! Quietly said it “we are gonna use this tool” is there another way without using the tool? That’s not $5fix come on
Started diagnosis with the least obvious cause, when the most common cause is a stripped splined blade hole. Now that was the regulator arm sometimes those are replaceable no need to change the whole assembly, although it’s a wise move because other parts on it might as well be about to give up too.
Temporary? I’d leave that zip tie on it until it fell off
I currently have this same problem with my 2016 infiniti QX60. Left my wipers on automatic, ran though the Carwash then noticed I only had one blade working. Now after a few days of one blade, now both blades have stopped working. I still hear and feel the motor so could it that both blades popped off the way you described it in your video? Thanks
Do you have to have that special tool to get blade off post I can’t seem to get mine off
I checked the fuses three times recently and they are good. I just installed a brand new Switch and wipers moved about one inch when I tried it out. When I looked under the cowel the Motor (new about a year and half ago) and linkage worked fine for about two minutes (with wiper arms removed). So why won't my windshield wipers turn on?
i wish you had shown pictures of the actual transmission itself. my wipers are still paired, and sychonized. i think it must be the connectoion to the motor or the bar. find out soon, working on it now
.
3:27 anyone else get anxious when he was popping the cover off on the drivers side and *didn’t* cover it with his other hand before launching it?!?!
Veerical
The button under the steering wheel which opens the trunk does nor work. Is there a particular fuse to replace I'm order to open the trunk? 2008 Chrysler 300C Hemi 5.7
thanks. one issee i have is once i turned on the wipers wish ice in it it got stuck and now it does not even fintion
Wiper no wiping, wiper no wiping 😂
😂😂😂
It's called transmission arm assembly
Nothing is more permanent than a temporary fix.
I think that is what i will end up doing but can you not buy the arms without having to buy the motor?
How do i get my cowl off if it's metal ( don't see any chips or screws) and the antenna runs thru it? (04 Ford ranger)
So zip tie and gorilla tape. Got it!
How do you get to clip for my Honda Accord 1995
If only the ball faced up, the level arm probably wouldn't ever fall off. Even if the joint got really worn.
Wiper linkage bushing needed ONLY
Hello
where is the installation video for the new part?
Do I need the whole thing? The motor is fine after all.
I can “hear” the motor hum when I try to run the blades - the arms do not move. Both are malfunctioning
My wiper's fuse keep burning out, blowing as soon as it's replaced. How do 😂 find the problem? My wipers aren't working because of this issue.
I would change both motors since I have a feeling the other one wouldn’t last very long and I don’t want to go through all the process
+Tom Liu Thanks for the tip!
Wipper Are Regulator Thanks
😊
