    Millions of human beings can relate to that type of situation, and only a very few artists are ever able to combine such powerful messages of truth with sheer virtuosity (like Bob Marley for example). That's why Tupac was a genius and has become a worldwide legend. He was truly a "Rose that Grew From Concrete"!

    it just goes to show you that music affects you in more ways then just the mood you are in at the moment. and tht it takes a powerful artist/band to make you alter the way u think/act

    Where did you see me write that Tupac was THE most important rapper? I never even insinuated in the least that there is "no more rap than 2Pac" or that rap has nothing to offer but Tupac.
    Of course there are many people who are more interested in rap which focuses on content and issues different from those which Tupac tackled. But that's TOTALLY BESIDES THE POINT, which is that Tupac was a legendary artist who continues to influence millions of people to this day.

    true, I know that his mother was a crack addict, but he did go to art school, study theatre, etc so his mental background was middle class: he wasn't a hustler. I think his first record reflected more who he really was but after that he figured that peddling gangsta myths sold better.

    i havent listened to all of pacs work of the small amount that i have i have to say i can see how he can be inspirational, he had positive things to say that do drive people to better themselves being a soldier and what not. but i find tupac is no more a hero then thomas jefferson who kept slaves and sodomized a little girl who was a slave. neither are perfect but neither are devoid of qualities and deeds that inspire us all if we look close enough.

  • @a1231212
    @a1231212 17 лет назад

    2pac is a legend. His mix of Beat and Peaceful-Rap was a phenomenon that has deep meaning and understanding. He didnt rap about fucking retarded stuff like "candy shops." Songs like "Ghetto Gospel" and "Keep ya Head Up" are so meaningful and tells a message.
    OK, so you guys might dig 50Cent and DMX...sure there music sounds good, but it has no meaning, its just countless raps about money, drugs, sex, and bitches...personally i don't wanna listen to that.

    OMG come on people give it up seriously. Here's the thing, I grew up in a crappy environment and I still cant relate to what he said in his music. Im not sure why people get the idea that just because someone doesn't like a certain artist that they don't listen to rap or have never heard the music. I've heard all of the music, I listen to rap, I absolutely cannot relate to his music. Case Closed. I think people are morons that do relate to his music and are proud of it.

    • @nikolai9878
      @nikolai9878 5 лет назад

      The only moron here is You. Not everyone is going to appreciate his music and you're one of them fine but don't you dare judge the other millions of people who actually understand his music and appreciate it. Tupac has influenced and changed many lives, his music is universal and related for so many different people and his message speaks volumes throughout the world. This comment is ignorant just because you don't like it, it doesn't give you the right to call other people morons because they DO like Tupac and his music.

  • @anouale
    @anouale 17 лет назад

    Damn oRoMe, do you really have to try to twist my words in order to make it known that you and your friends don't personally appreciate Tupac? Just admit that you're a Pac-hater and done with it, ffs...keep ya head up, you can do it!

  • @anouale
    @anouale 17 лет назад

    So you're telling me that Bob Marley was bigger than Pac 'CAUSE YOU'RE SPANISH? right...XD Back to the real point...Many people started really listening to rap because they heard Pac and wanted to discover more. Millions of people from Poland to Pasadena to Palestine can recite even Pac's lesser-known works word-for-word...whether you "like the vibe that 2pac gave" or not. The fact is that BOTH Bob & Pac were legendary artists who were hugely influential.
