Maneater was one of their biggest hits from the 80's, but they've been around since the early 70's. She's Gone and Sara Smile are from the 70's. One on One, I Can't Go for That, Kiss on My List, and Private Eyes are from the 80's. I feel so blessed to be a 70's and 80's child growing up with phenomenal music.

Daryl and John were very much influenced by the Philadelphia Soul movement of the 70's. When they started out, John took a much bigger role in their songs. He has a fantastic voice as well. They have so many hits, anyone you check out will blow your socks off!

Sarah Smiles is one of the best songs of all time, I Can't Go For That is also right up there, and then Rich Girl is probably their most commercial successful song. Amazing musicians, way ahead of their time.

What’s up!? Thanks for posting this. What’s amazing about Hall and Oats is they don’t have processed vocals. They can harmonize and they can hold notes. They’re ability to sing makes them amazing compared to “singers” today.
Their albums were produced by top end recording houses and excellent accompaniment - like in this video - of the sax.

Hall and Oates just makes you feel. Sara Smile and One on One are two of the best slow songs ever written. Hall and Oates have upbeat and sad songs, but they’re all pretty great, really great. I saw them in concert a couple of years ago with Tears For Fears - another listen to band! 😁❤️
