OMG. This song came out when I was in like 5th grade. Probably the first song I heard from them where I knew the artist (because of MTV). As I grew up, I realized I had heard so many other songs by them via my parentals' radios without knowing who Hall and Oates were. I love love love their catalog. I am a recent subscriber and really enjoy watching y'all! Shout out from Dallas, Texas. \m/

Funny part about this song. It was about Kelly LeBrock. She came into a restaurant and sat at Jons table. He said she was cursing like a sailor, telling dirty jokes, and the words just came to him.

I'm here because I specifically looked for this song right after watching Ryan & Nick's review of another "Good Sax" song, Glenn Frey's "You Belong To The City." 😁 Great song. One of Hall & Oates' best. You guys should definitely do *Private Eyes," "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)," "Family Man," "Say It Isn't So" and "Adult Education" where they even go a bit spooky. 🦇🦇

I grew up in the 80's and saxophone was used by many artists back then, unlike today. Another pop song that comes to mind with sax is Rio by Duran Duran. Love Hall & Oats. Even though they are technically Daryl Hall & John Oats, it seems that fans just called them Hall & Oats cause it's shorter, easier to say. "I Can't Go For That" is another good song by them.

This song was my introduction to Hall and Oates music. It was played non stop on radio stations back in 1982. To be honest its not amongst my H&O favorites but it may very well be their biggest hit of all time. Big time sax solo too which was ubiquitous with 80's pop music.

Try any episode of “Live From Darryl’s House”. It’s current, and Hall has assembled a killer house band at his farm. He brings in guest artists for hour-long (I think) shows. My favorite episodes are the ones with Billy Gibbons, Joe Walsh, and then The O’Jays.

Great reaction, guys! Did you know that Hall & Oates is the biggest selling duo of all time?! I suggest next from them you react to their classic song, "She's Gone". You'll love it! (ps~don't bother with a music video, though, just react to the audio of the studio album cut. The song is so great, no visuals are required, and only serve to distract from the track's epic sonic beauty.)
